The Xbox app for Windows has received a new preview build (2205.1000.17.0) which introduces several fixes to improve the overall experience. It also brings improved search results for all PC Game Pass titles, including those from EA Play and Ubisoft. This is the first Xbox app preview of the month according to Xbox Wire.

While the main new feature in this release is improved search results, it also comes with two fixes that should improve the overall experience. The fixes in this update are:

  • Fixed an issue where some cloud games with custom touch controls would leave you stuck.
  • Fixed issues with Narrator and Screen Reader to make the app even more accessible.

If you want to receive these preview builds to get all the latest features first, you can go ahead and download the Xbox Insider Hub app from the Microsoft Store on your Windows PC. Once you have the app, you can go to the previews section to see which ones are available for you. If you are interested in any of them, just hit join.

If you need help with any issues, the place to go is the Xbox Insiders subreddit which has troubleshooting information and people around to help you with other issues.
