Xbox Live Gold subscribers on Xbox One, Xbox Series S, and Xbox Series X have two new free games, and they may be the most disappointing pairing of Xbox Live Gold games yet. Starting March 1, Xbox Live Gold subscribers can download The Flame in the Flood free. It is not, however, one of the two games in question. The Flame in the Flood is a well-regarded game. Xbox Live Gold subscribers were also able to download sacred 2 fallen angel until a few days ago, when it was replaced by the aforementioned pair of newer free games: street power football and The truth or the square of spongebob.
The first is a 2020 game from developers SFL Interactive and Gamajun and publisher Nacon. It has a 41 on Metacritic. The other game is a 2009 Xbox 360 game from Heavy Iron Studios which has a 40 on Metacritic. If none of these games appeal to you, even as free downloads, you’re not alone.
As alluded to, the Games With Gold supply of Xbox Live Gold has been on a downward trajectory for years and it’s bordering on a meme within the Xbox community at this point. That said, this may be a new low point for the subscription service. It’s obvious at this point that Xbox is only focused on Xbox Game Pass.
Below you can read more about both games and check out a trailer for both games, courtesy of Xbox:
Street Power Football: “Show off your sick style in this fast-paced, action-packed version of the beautiful game. Try out over-the-top cheats, game modes and playing fields, and unleash your soccer superpowers. Compete against street legends or your friends in a game to determine who will claim the crown of King of the Street!”
Truth or SpongeBob SquarePants: “SpongeBob has lost Krabby Patty’s secret formula. With your help and the help of some Bikini Bottom buddies, SpongeBob must use Plankton’s memory machine to trace the happiest times of his life and find the formula.”

For those who may not be familiar with the March 2022 free Xbox with Gold games, street power football is an arcade soccer game that may remind some fans of the fifa street games that EA used to make. Unfortunately, those who hoped it would fill the void left by the lack of news fifa street games will probably be disappointed because street power football received overwhelmingly negative reviews upon its initial launch.
Xbox Free Games With Gold List For March 2022
The Flame in the Flood (March 1 – March 31)
Sacred 2: Fallen Angel (March 1 – March 15)
Street Power Soccer (March 16 – April 15)
SpongeBob SquarePants (March 16 to March 31)
The truth or the square of spongebob received similarly negative reviews, although it was slightly better received than street power football. Spongebob Squarepants: Truth or Square is a 3D platform game based on Spongebob episode of the same name. It has a local co-op mode that allows the second player to take control of Plankton, and there are also some trivial questions for players to answer throughout the game as well. Spongebob diehards may find it enjoyable, but Xbox Live Gold subscribers have nothing to lose by claiming it while it’s free, whether they like it or not.
Later this month, Xbox Live Gold subscribers should find out what’s in store for them in April 2022. The Xbox Free Games with Gold program has come under heavy criticism lately as Microsoft focuses its attention on Xbox Game Pass, and fans So shouldn’t hold their breath for all the exciting things to hit the service next month, but again, there could be some surprises in store.

What many fans considered an absolute necessity in its past, Xbox Live Gold in 2022 seems to have undergone a notoriety shift now becoming the laughing stock of Microsoft’s gaming subscription service.
For nearly two decades, Xbox Live Gold has been viewed by Xbox owners as a must-have subscription. It served as the ultimate gateway to the multiplayer experience Xbox has to offer.
As a thank you to Xbox Live Gold members, Microsoft gave Xbox Live subscribers Fable III, Defense Grid: The Awakening and Assassin’s Creed II in 2013. These were the very first steps and the birth of the Xbox Games With Gold feature offering subscribers four new monthly Xbox Games. Fans were happy to pay for Xbox Live Gold to get their money’s worth. Multiplayer experience and monthly free games, what’s not to love?
Gold begins to tarnish
In 2021, Microsoft decided to drop the Xbox Live Gold requirement on free multiplayer titles and open up several social features to all gamers on Xbox. These features consisted of Party Chat and Looking for Group messages, the platform’s most popular social features. Players no longer need to pay the monthly Xbox Live Gold fee to play popular titles at the time such as Fortnite, Call of Duty: Warzone or Apex Legends along with other titles. Depending on the payment style, some players could now potentially waste their money. While no payment is required for these popular titles, other Xbox games still require Xbox Live Gold. These changes to the subscription service have significantly reduced its value, as various features that were once exclusive are now available to everyone.
The nail in the coffin
Xbox Game Pass Ultimate gives gamers a library of hundreds of games they can play on Xbox, PC, Android, and IOS, which also includes all first-party Microsoft versions as soon as they’re released. On top of that, all the benefits of Gold are included. When this new subscription service came out, gamers didn’t know how it would work, but in 2022 everyone now knows his name and the power he wields by having Xbox Live Gold writing his will.
With the success of GamePass Ultimate, it’s now clear where Microsoft is focusing. Players continually see new popular titles added to the service, but what about Games With Gold? While Microsoft pampers its Game Pass subscribers with its exciting titles, Gold subscribers are left with old and forgotten games from Xbox’s past.
Games with Gold March 2022
As in previous months, Xbox Live Gold as well as Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscribers. The March title board unsurprisingly, for fans, are indie games and older titles.
The first two games coming in March are The Flame in the Flood, a roguelike survival adventure game, and Sacred 2 Fallen Angel, an action role-playing game set in a fantasy world.
Free from March 16 to April 15 is Street Power Soccer, an arcade-style soccer game, and SpongeBob’s Truth or Square, an action game based on the TV show’s special.
If gamers want value for their money, then undoubtedly Xbox Game Pass Ultimate is the way to go. It has all the benefits of Gold plus hundreds of games you can play on an assortment of devices. While a Gold Membership will get the job done, it just can’t compete with the Game Pass in 2022. It’s time to throw in the towel. Rest in power Xbox Live Gold.

Some Xbox gamers are reporting the issue where they are getting the error message Sorry, this profile can’t connect to Xbox Live on this console when trying to play certain games on their Xbox console. This post identifies the potential culprits and provides the most appropriate solutions that affected players can apply to successfully resolve the issue.
The full error message when this problem occurs reads as follows;
Sorry, this profile can’t connect to Xbox Live on this console. Please download it again.
This particular error occurs when the user tries to play a backward compatible Xbox 360 game on an Xbox One or Xbox Series X|S console, as the Xbox Live membership works normally for all users as they can play Xbox Gold games Card and use online features without problems. This issue appears to be limited to backward compatible games that launch on the new generation Xbox console.

Xbox Live Core service issue.
Glitched temporary data.
Corrupted Local 360 storage folder.
Xbox profile stuck in the middle of the signing process.
Operating system corruption.
Sorry, this profile can’t connect to Xbox Live on this console
If you get the error message Sorry, this profile can’t connect to Xbox Live on this console on your Xbox console, you can try our recommended solutions below in no particular order to fix the error on your gaming device.
Restart your Xbox console
Check Xbox Server Status
Clear Xbox 360 Local Storage (for Xbox One)
Delete and add an Xbox profile
Check if the game supports Smart Delivery (for Xbox Series X|S)
Reset Xbox Console
Let’s take a look at the description of the process involved regarding each of the listed solutions.
1]Restart your Xbox console
You can start troubleshooting to fix the error message Sorry, this profile can’t connect to Xbox Live on this console by restarting your Xbox console.
Proceed as follows:
Press and hold the Xbox button on the front of the console for about 10 seconds to turn off your console.
Unplug your Xbox from the mains.
Wait at least 30-60 seconds.
When the time is up, plug your Xbox back into the power outlet.
Now press the Xbox button on the console or the Xbox button on your controller to turn your console back on.
In case you don’t see the green boot animation when the console restarts, you can repeat these steps and make sure you hold down the power button until the console completely shuts down.
Try the next solution if the error persists.
2]Check Xbox Server Status
You may experience the issue due to a temporary glitch with Xbox Live servers preventing you from playing backwards compatible games – this is usually due to a scheduled maintenance period or some sort of unexpected outage issue caused by an attack DDoS or an unexpected issue with servers in your zone/region.
Basically, if the core services are down, your game ownership will not be validated, so you won’t be able to play the backward compatible game. In this case, you can check the status of Xbox Live at support.xbox.com/en-US/xbox-live-status and check whether any basic services are currently not operational or operating with limited capacity. If all services are up, you can try playing the game again. On the other hand, if the servers are down, there’s not much you can do other than wait for Microsoft engineers to fix the issue – and keep checking the Xbox status page regularly until you see the server is back online and all services are running.
3]Clear Xbox 360 local storage (for Xbox One)
The error in view can also occur due to some sort of file corruption in your Local360 storage folder. This is a hidden folder that you can access after trying to launch the backward compatible game on your Xbox One.
To delete local Xbox 360 storage on your Xbox One console, follow these steps:
press the Xbox button to open the guide.
Go to the rightmost menu and click on the Settings icon.
Then navigate to System > Storage room to open system storage.
In the System Storage menu, select the Clear local Xbox 360 storage option.
Follow the prompts to complete the procedure.
Restart the console when finished.
After the console restarts, you can try playing the backward compatible game again and see if the issue is now resolved. Otherwise, try the next solution.
4]Delete and re-add an Xbox profile
If there are any inconsistencies with the Xbox profile you’re currently signed in with, you’re likely experiencing the current issue. In this case, to solve the problem, you can delete, then re-download and re-add your Xbox gamertag/profile on your gaming device.
Proceed as follows:
Press the Xbox button on your controller to open the guide.
Go to Profile & system > Settings > Account.
Under Account, select Delete accounts.
Select the Account that you want to delete.
To select Remove to confirm.
To select Close once you have finished.
You have now successfully deleted the Xbox profile on your gaming device. To now redownload and re-add your profile, follow these steps:
press the Xbox button on your controller again.
To select Add new in Profile & system.
To note: You will not create a new account when you select this option. You simply add your existing profile to the Xbox console.
If you forgot it, select I forgot my password, then follow the instructions to recover your account
Review the privacy statement summary, then select following.
Select your Login and Security Preferences.
Find out what you look like on Xbox, then select following.
Choose your color, then select following.
To note: The preference you are currently using at home appears with a check mark.
Press the Xbox button on your controller to return to the Homepage.
Scroll left from Home, find and select your gamertagthen select Login.
Now launch the backward compatible game again and see if the issue still occurs. If so, try the next solution.
5]Check if the game supports Smart Delivery (for Xbox Series X|S)
With Smart Delivery technology on Xbox Series X|S consoles, when purchasing a game, the best version of the game is automatically delivered to your console, regardless of generation – no extra steps required to your part. Additionally, the ability to play digital and disc-based Xbox 360 and original Xbox games on Xbox One has expanded to include Xbox Series X|S and cloud gaming.
To check if you have the Xbox Series X|S optimized version of your game, follow these steps:
Go to My games and apps.
To select See everything.
In Gamesselect the filter then under All types of consoles to select Optimized for Xbox Series X|S games.
If the game is listed, your game has been successfully upgraded to the best version available. If the optimized version is released but your game has not yet been updated, follow these steps:
Move towards My games and apps > See everything > Manage > Updates.
The game may be waiting for an available update, which can happen if the automatic game update setting is not enabled on your console.
To find out if the games you own are backwards compatible, you can check your game library by following these steps:
Go to My games and apps > See everything > Complete library > All games held,
Then filter on All types of consoles.
To select Xbox 360 and Xbox Games Where Xbox One Games.
6]Reset Xbox console

The February games announcement marked the first time in three months that the Xbox Live Games with Gold lineup hadn’t been leaked ahead of its official reveal.
It was announced last month that the UK branch of Microsoft had pledged to make a series of improvements to Xbox subscription auto-renewal practices.
The voluntary changes were agreed as part of an investigation by the Competition and Markets Authority to determine whether online gaming contracts offered by Microsoft, Sony and Nintendo breach consumer protection laws.
Fortnite is a free title that players can simply download and start playing for free. The only reason players have to pay any amount of in-game money is to purchase skins from the Item Shop. However, this is a personal choice, and it does not hinder the gameplay in any way. There are tons of gamers in the community who simply haven’t invested a single dollar in Fortnite since Epic Games first launched the game in 2017.

The same can’t be said for Xbox gamers looking to play the fan-favorite Battle Royale title. For a very long time, a subscription was required to play the game, although it has always been a free-to-play title. However, do Xbox players have to pay a subscription in 2022 to play Fortnite? Keep reading to find out.
Microsoft is waiving Xbox Live Gold fees on free titles, including Fortnite
Previously, Xbox gamers had to pay a $10 Xbox Live Gold subscription fee to play any multiplayer game, even if it was exclusively free. For an annual subscription, players had to pay $60. This created a barrier between players on all other platforms and Xbox.
Finally, in May 2021, Microsoft realized its mistake and simply waived the Xbox Live Gold subscription on the free titles.
Microsoft’s big free Xbox Live Gold changes begin today. Xbox Live Party chat will be free, and Xbox testers can now access free games like Fortnite without an Xbox Live Gold subscription. Details here: theverge.com/2021/3/24/2234…
Microsoft provided an official statement on the issue in which they added the names of 50 free titles that Xbox gamers can play without paying a single penny on their console.
“Today, we’re sharing more details about our plans to make online multiplayer in free games available on Xbox without an Xbox Live Gold subscription. As part of hearing your feedback, this change will take place starting in ‘today, and all Xbox gamers will be able to access online multiplayer for free for a library of over 50 free games that support online multiplayer.’

PlayStation and Nintendo are other consoles where loopers can play the Battle Royale title, and neither of these consoles require a subscription fee to play the Battle Royale title.
Good news, Xbox fans: while it’s still frustrating to get your hands on a Xbox series X, access to next-gen titles just got a little easier. Or at least more affordable. Right now you can grab this Xbox Series S bundle at Woot for $270, a savings of $30. That happens to be $10 less than recent offerings.
The console, which comes with free copies of fortnite and Rocket League installed, is sold by Woot in new condition. This price beats the lowest we’ve seen on the console, and this time it also comes with digital currency for the two free games, which we saw with the eBay bundle a few weeks ago. Chances are this bundle won’t be available for long, so you’re going to have to hurry.
While both games are free to download for any Xbox user, this bundle includes a few freebies on top of the games, like the Midnight Drive Pack and 1,000 V-Bucks for Fortnite, and 1,000 Rocket League Credits. These can be used to buy in-game items, change your cars and more. The Drive Pack is exclusive to this pack and the currency is worth around $16.
The Series S is the “lite” version of the bulkier Xbox Series X. Although it can still run next-gen games like Infinite Halo, the Series S doesn’t have a disc drive, so all of your games will need to be digital downloads. And because of that, the 512GB storage will fill up pretty quickly, though that’s easily (albeit expensive) solved with a expansion card.
While it doesn’t support 4K video, it matches the Series X’s 120fps frame rate for ultra-smooth motion. And at less than 3 inches thick, it’s also much more compact. If you’re a hardcore gamer, it might be worth waiting for stock issues to try and nab a Series X, but if you’re just looking for a way to enjoy some of these next-gen games, the Series S is a great option for more casual gamers. Especially when you can find it on sale.
If it is in stock, you need to buy as soon as possible. We expect these to move quickly and sell out early in the day.

Since the beginnings of Xbox Game Pass, Xbox Live Gold has become very outdated. Game Pass is more than a top tier of an Xbox Live subscription, giving access to a large library of games while Xbox Live Gold offers nothing like it. The benefits that gold offers seem very meager in comparison.
As gamers flock to Game Pass for the selection of games on offer, Xbox Live Gold has been criticized for offering less value. Of course, Xbox Live Gold arrived long before Xbox Game Pass, but it hasn’t evolved in a big way. Charging players to access multiplayer games may have been Xbox style a decade ago, but it feels offbeat now that Game Pass exists, and the low perks of Xbox’s Games With Gold offerings rarely justify the cost. a Live subscription.

Xbox Live Gold has been part of the Xbox Series for a very long time, but Game Pass overtook it very quickly. If Xbox Live Gold were to upgrade and evolve, it might gain a better reputation. However, considering how behind his time, it may be too late for him to recover. There are a few specific points that may explain Gold’s failures, and why it now feels like a relic that Xbox should part with.
Xbox Live Gold – Why paying extra to play online seems outdated
One of the biggest original draws of Xbox Live and its paid subscription model was that it gave gamers the ability to play against and with other people online. It was a major boost for Xbox’s early multiplayer games such as Halo 2. At first, online gaming was a bit of a novelty, but it quickly caught on, eventually reaching the point where online multiplayer has become an industry staple and a major force in its own right. Nowadays there are entire games such as Monitoring and SMIT which consist entirely of online multiplayer matches, but not all platforms require a paid subscription to access them.
Over time, online gambling has become more and more common in games. Xbox Live Gold has become more appealing to many gamers as it has become more or less essential to getting the most out of several major titles, such as Halo and Call of Duty. Eventually it reached a point where online play felt like something that should be included by default rather than a feature locked behind additional payment. Almost every multiplayer game on Xbox needed it, so these games basically required an extra yearly charge to be fully enjoyed.
Related: Why Microsoft Just Bought Activision Blizzard
With more platforms not requiring a subscription to access online multiplayer and co-op titles, and with Game Pass presenting better value for money overall, Xbox Live Gold feels like an unwanted extra payment that gamers must agree to participate. basic characteristics of certain titles. Free games on Xbox no longer requiring Live, Microsoft seems to realize this. The days when connecting a console to the internet was a novelty are long gone, and Xbox Live Gold feels like a relic of those less established days. Offering little more than a key to playing online games, what Gold brings should really be basic functionality rather than a paid extra.
Games with gold have been made obsolete by Xbox Game Pass
Games With Gold is a program that has been part of Xbox Live since July 2013. Twice a month, players are offered a game to download for free, with each offer remaining valid until the next game. A free-to-play game sounds amazing, and Microsoft has offered some great games in the past. When the Xbox One was released, Games With Gold began offering Xbox 360 and Xbox One games through the service. However, the service has earned a reputation for offering less than stellar titles in recent years, with the February 2022 Xbox Games With Gold deals proving particularly unattractive.
When Game Pass launched on Xbox One, it was priced higher than Xbox Live Gold, but quickly showed its worth with the Game Pass library, with a large collection of titles players can download and play for free as long as they are part of the service. Even some new releases and major titles are offered through Game Pass, which has become a major draw for subscribers. Games will occasionally be removed from Game Pass as new titles are added, but any title on Game Pass can be purchased at a discount while it is part of the service. It’s basically a way for gamers to try out games before they buy them, and it’s a lot like a video game version of Netflix.
Xbox Game Pass has added over $6,000 worth of games in 2021 and is great value for money. It also eclipsed Games With Gold. As one of Gold’s only standout features outside of online play, it makes Gold look outdated now that a vastly improved version is available on the same console. While they could be considered different tiers of the same online service, Game Pass trumps Gold to such a degree that even this comparison seems unfair.
What should happen to Xbox Live Gold now that Game Pass exists
With Xbox Live Gold looking more outdated over time, Microsoft should consider what it should do with the service. What Gold offers feels both underwhelming and vital for the console, given that it’s still needed for online play. Given the reviews, it might be time for Microsoft to change how Xbox Live Gold works. Even lowering the price of Xbox Live Gold may not be enough to change.

One solution would be to expand free online gaming beyond free games to encompass all games with online functionality. While that would leave Gold’s only quirk as disappointing Games With Gold offerings, it would possibly lead to Gold being phased out, with Ultimate being the only additional tier. Considering Xbox Live Ultimate has the Game Pass library, that sounds like something worth the extra payment to access. Game Pass is one of the best online gaming services right now, and Microsoft was right to introduce it. However, it also highlighted why gold feels so weak in comparison.
As for whether Microsoft would actually phase out the gold, there are reports that the company is waiting for Xbox Game Pass to reach a milestone before considering dropping the gold. Xbox Live Gold has been a part of the service for a long time, and Microsoft probably wouldn’t let it go without a very good reason. However, the introduction of Xbox Live Ultimate and Game Pass has provided such an improved version of what Gold is already doing that it may be seriously considering making changes.
While Xbox Live Gold was once one of the leading online gaming services, it now sits in the shadow of Xbox Game Pass. Boasting a few perks in addition to online play, Gold feels like a relic from a previous console generation. After being overtaken by so many other platforms and services, Xbox Live Gold is obsolete.

Xbox Live Gold has always been the paid subscription for Xbox games, offering full access to Microsoft’s gaming network with a range of exclusive benefits. This includes access to online multiplayer, various social features, free games and regular discounts. But Xbox Live Gold isn’t for everyone and coupled with some big changes to Xbox Live’s free tier, you might consider canceling your subscription.
How to turn off auto-renewal for Xbox Live Gold
By canceling your Xbox Live Gold subscription, understand that you will lose access to all of your previous benefits from the service. Going forward, multiplayer for most Xbox Live Gold games and other services will be inaccessible, including access to free titles previously obtained through Games with Gold.
Go to account.microsoft.com/services.
Login to your Microsoft account.
Navigate to the Xbox Live Gold subsection of the page.
Click on Manage.
To choose Disable automatic renewal.
To select Confirm cancellation.
Once you complete the steps, your Xbox Live Gold subscription will not renew in the future. Your existing Xbox Live Gold subscription will continue until the end of the current payment period, which means that all benefits are still usable in the meantime.
Is Xbox Live Gold worth it over Game Pass Ultimate?
As of the network-wide Xbox Live Gold changes, introduced in April 2021, free multiplayer games no longer require an Xbox Live Gold membership. Great news for gamers who prefer to stick with titles like Apex Legends, Call of Duty: Warzone, and Fortnite. For anyone who drops $60 on a hit multiplayer blockbuster, they’ll then have to shell out extra money for Xbox Live Gold or Xbox Game Pass Ultimate if they want to play with friends.
Even for offline gamers who prefer story-driven games, it’s worth exploring the benefits of Game Pass Ultimate. In addition to access to the Game Pass library, you also get all the benefits of Xbox Live Gold. Although priced higher than Live Gold, Game Pass Ultimate includes the Games with Gold program, which awards two free games per month, including backward compatible Xbox 360 titles. These games never leave your library as long as your subscription is active, unlike Game Pass’ rotating game library.
The best package for all things Xbox, an Xbox Game Pass Ultimate membership includes access to PC Game Pass. If you split your game time between consoles and keyboards, you’ll have access to the PC side of the Game Pass library. These upgrades make Game Pass Ultimate much better value than Xbox Live Gold, which has lost its spark.
How to save on Xbox Live Gold
If you’re considering checking out Game Pass Ultimate instead of canceling Live Gold, you can upgrade your Gold membership to Game Pass Ultimate for as little as $1 through Microsoft.
Although Microsoft has discontinued its 12-month digital subscription to Xbox Live Gold, one-year codes can still be purchased from third-party retailers. The 25-character codes will either be masked on physical cards with a scratch off panel or emailed directly from online retailers. Redeem your code on the Microsoft website subsection here, and your membership extends instantly.
Similar discounts often appear for 3 month Xbox Game Pass Ultimate codes, so check local retailers regularly for price reductions and take advantage of Xbox Multiplayer savings.

Halo Infinite caused a stir when it launched late last year. It reached the top of the free games chart on Xbox in November, while hitting over 270,000 concurrent players on Steam alone. But are these numbers falling?
A recent Windows Central Report looked at data on Halo Infinite’s current numbers, and it reveals a significant drop in player numbers. The game is now out of the top five most played games on Xbox, taking sixth place. Steam numbers have dropped to around 10-20,000 concurrent players.
It’s disappointing to see, that’s for sure, but is it really that surprising? Many issues have arisen since launch. One of them – Big Team Battle matchmaking – was just fixed more than two months after the game was released.
There is also the matter of content, or lack thereof. We’ve seen playlist updates and in-game events, but there have been no hints of any new maps, weapons, or vehicles since launch. Not to mention the co-op campaign and Forge mode, which still don’t have a launch date.
In the modern age of games as a service, content is king. For Halo Infinite to get back to those lofty launch heights, it likely needs more significant content drops. We’d say Halo Infinite’s core gameplay is worth sticking with, especially as we approach launch. But for many, that doesn’t seem to be holding them back.
What does Halo Infinite need for you to come back? Or are you still playing? Let us know below.
There’s no more reasonable price than free, and whether you’re a PC or console gamer, there are regular opportunities to claim games for exactly that price.
However, sometimes it can be difficult to keep track of everything, which is why we’ve put together this helpful guide to all the free games currently available.
This article will be updated regularly as free games come and go, which means it should be up to date whenever you decide to check it out.
It’s worth pointing out, of course, that some of these “free” games are perks for signing up for subscription services that themselves aren’t free.
This guide is also only focused on games that usually cost money but have been made free for a limited time as part of a promotion or membership benefit.
There are many free games not listed here that can be found on your console or PC’s digital store: they have always been free in the first place and can usually be enjoyed for free, but with the option of spending money on upgrades.
That said, here’s our current list of free console and PC games you can claim right now.

The most important button on the original Xbox wasn’t the power button: it was the button for ejecting the disc tray.
Conceptually, this does not make sense. Of course the power button has to be the most important button — it turns on (and off) the whole console. But that attitude is rooted in our understanding of modern devices, where our games and apps are far more self-contained than they were in the heyday of the original Xbox.
The design of the console reflects the priority of the eject button. The disc eject button is bigger, taller, and surrounded by an LED ring in the console’s signature green glow, drawing even more attention to it.
The reasoning here is simple: the original Xbox (like its contemporaries and predecessors) was useless without game discs, DVDs and CDs. Without the disc tray button, your Xbox was never more than a big chunk of green and black plastic. So Microsoft wanted to direct you to this button because it meant you had purchased a game and were ready to play or wanted to swap discs to play something else.
A powered-on Xbox with a broken disc tray was a useless thing; an Xbox with an open board was primed and ready to embark on your next video game adventure. Is it any wonder that Microsoft prioritized the disc eject button in its design?
It’s a legacy that exists elsewhere in the console universe. The original Playstation and PlayStation 2 both feature power buttons the same size as their disc tray buttons; The Nintendo GameCube also emphasizes its lid eject button with an additional physical dimple that the other power and reset buttons lacked. But the original Xbox wins out in its glorification of the eject button by making it the biggest and flashiest button on the entire console.
The Xbox successors, however, also tell the story of how discs have become less and less of an essential part of video games over the years. Take the original Xbox 360, for example. The tray eject button is still quite visible, located on the side of the drive itself, but it’s no longer in the spotlight. The power button eclipsed it, now huge and festooned with LED lights that could indicate connected controllers (or critical hardware failures).
This shift in focus away from the disc drive coincided with an increase in functionality in the console itself. Xbox 360 could work without game inserted; it had a hard drive you could download games to and internet connectivity to buy and rent movies and TV shows. This is a trend that continues over the history of the 360. The subsequent 360 Slim and 360 E iterations would continue to reduce the disc eject button while placing more emphasis on the power button, adding chrome details to further enhance it.
The Xbox One generation would go even further. For the first time, buying all-digital games was an achievable prospect with the new console, and the scale between the console’s Xbox logo-shaped illuminated power icon and tiny disc eject button capacitance reflects this. The Xbox One S would carry the trend to ultimate expression: the digital version of this console simply lacked a disc drive (and its corresponding button).
Which brings us to the modern generation of Xbox consoles. The Xbox Series S is completely disc-free – all games purchased and played must be done through Microsoft’s store. But even Xbox Series X shows a fundamental shift in how we interact with consoles. The power button is as big as ever, but the eject button has been reduced to a dot next to the drive itself. And even the discs are largely vestigial. Modern games all run on the console’s internal drive today. Buying a game on disc simply means avoiding an initial download so that the base game files can be copied to the Blu-ray instead, and usually this just precedes a long download of patches and updates from the internet. .
The story of the disc eject button is a story of the miniature video game ecosystem: a detail that shrinks over four generations of consoles that reflects a much bigger shift in the way we buy and play games. today.
The February 2022 Games with Gold lineup has been officially confirmed. These titles will be available for download at no additional cost to anyone with an active Xbox Live Gold membership.
As usual with Games with Gold, all four games will be available at staggered intervals throughout February and the lineup includes two Xbox One games and two Xbox 360 titles. All four are playable on Xbox Series X through the backward compatibility.
Xbox Live with Gold Free Games: February 2022
Xbox One: Broken Sword 5: The Serpent’s Curse (Available February 1-28)
Xbox One: Aerial_Knight’s Never Yield (February 16 to March 15)
Xbox 360: Hydrophobia (February 1-15)
Xbox 360: Band of Bugs (February 16-28)
As its name suggests, Broken Sword 5: The Serpent’s Curse is the fifth title in the series of adventure games that casts you as American Geroge Stobbart and French journalist Nico Collard on the trail of a stolen painting. Naturally, this leads to the duo uncovering a murderous plot. If you find old-school adventure games a bit mundane, then the high-octane 2D side-scrolling action Aerial_Knight’s Never Yield should be more your speed instead.
Hydrophobia is probably the most interesting game on the list. It was an extremely polarizing game when it was released on Xbox 360 in 2010. Edge gave it 3/10, IGN an 8/10. How’s that for a mixed reception!
Over the past decade, Hydrophobia has become a cult classic and rather admired for its still very impressive water physics. The action game was supposed to come out in three parts, but its developer, Dark Energy Digital, went into administration and only the first chapter surfaced.
Band of Bugs is a turn-based strategy game that lets you battle waves of scary bugs in single player or online multiplayer. It received mixed reviews when it launched in 2007, and to be honest, it might be best left in the past. Unless you really want to play something in February, you can probably skip this one.
The reaction on social media was fairly subdued, with some followers disappointed to see another month devoid of any real headline titles. The lineup looks particularly unfavorable compared to February’s PlayStation Plus offerings which are Tiny Tina’s Assault on Dragon Keep, Planet Coaster: Console Edition and UFC 4.
This weekend’s Free Play Days promotion includes For Honor and Valkyria Chronicles 4, both free and discounted until Sunday night.

Xbox Game Pass is one of the best gaming deals. Plus: with Microsoft set to acquire Activision Blizzard, it could get even better in the next year or two. The service costs at least $10 per month, which certainly isn’t cheap. But you’ll get what you pay for, with hundreds of downloadable games, including early releases from Microsoft studios.
Before you subscribe to Xbox Game Pass (or cancel it forever), just know that it comes in three different flavors: Xbox Game Pass, PC Game Pass, and Xbox Game Pass Ultimate. The three tiers have more similarities than differences, and deciding which one you want is pretty straightforward. You just have to ask yourself three questions:
Do I want to play on Xbox?
Do I want to play on a gaming PC?
Do I want to play on mobile devices and PCs without gaming and play games online?
Once you know the answers, choosing a level is simple. In this article, we’ll break down the differences and recommend different tiers for individual use cases.
Xbox Game Pass vs. PC Game Pass vs. Xbox Game Pass Ultimate
Before we dive into the specifics of each Xbox Game Pass subscription tier, please check out the handy table below for a high-level overview of what each offers:

N / A
Xbox Game Pass for console
To start, let’s talk about Xbox Game Pass (or Xbox Game Pass for console), arguably the most basic level of the service. This is Xbox Game Pass as Microsoft originally introduced it at E3 2017. You pay $10 a month, and in return you get access to a library of over 400 Xbox games. These range from first-party Microsoft fare, like Halo Infinite and Forza Horizon 5, to indie darlings, like Hollow Knight and Unpacking. You must download these games to an Xbox One, Xbox Series S, or Xbox Series X console before playing them.
There’s not much else to know here. If you choose to purchase any of the Game Pass a la carte titles, you will receive a 20% discount. These games usually don’t come with DLC, but you’ll get a 10% discount on all add-ons. As with any subscription service, games come and go from Xbox Game Pass frequently, so if you see a game you like, you’ll want to play it as soon as possible. (Except for games from Microsoft studios; those are here forever.)
Likewise, once your subscription runs out, you will lose access to the Game Pass library. However, if you purchase a pay-per-view game, your save files will be retained, so there is no risk of losing progress.
It’s also worth noting that to play games online, Game Pass console subscribers will also need a separate Xbox Live Gold subscription. This feature not only gives access to online games, but gives players a handful of free games to keep. For example, 49 titles were offered in 2021, including games such as Little Nightmares, Injustice: Gods Among Us, and Darksiders 3. Even if your Xbox Live Gold subscription expires, you can keep your Games with Gold titles. Granted, many of these titles can also be found in the Xbox Game Pass library. Xbox Live Gold is priced as follows: $10 per month, $25 for 3 months, and $60 for a full year. Generously, Xbox doesn’t require a Live Gold membership for a handful of free games like Fortnite, Roblox, and Rocket League. The full list of free non-Xbox Live Gold games can be found here. However, Xbox Live Gold is included with the more expensive Xbox Game Pass Ultimate tier.
PC game pass
PC Game Pass is essentially the same thing as Xbox Game Pass for console, just on a different system. As the name suggests, PC Game Pass lets you download and play games on Windows 10 and Windows 11 computers. are not guaranteed to work on your PC. You will still need to meet the minimum requirements – CPU, GPU, HDD space, etc. But if you have a powerful machine, you’ll get access to over 400 PC games for $10 a month.
The selection is somewhat different than Xbox Game Pass for console, as the two libraries do not have exact parity. Most Microsoft products are still offered. You’ll also get access to some beloved Microsoft PC titles, such as Age of Empires IV. There are a lot of indies, from Boyfriend Dungeon to Sable. The third-party range is different, but not as different as you might expect – you can still play games like Octopath Traveler and the majority of the Yakuza series, for example.
The same discount rules apply – 20% off full games and 10% off DLCs. Just know that whatever game you buy, you’ll be buying it through the Microsoft Store rather than the Steam or Epic Games Store. This may limit multiplayer compatibility on some titles, so it’s worth doing some research beforehand.
Xbox Game Pass Ultimate
Xbox Game Pass Ultimate is where Microsoft offers all of the service’s best bells and whistles. Although it costs $15 a month instead of $10, Game Pass Ultimate is arguably worth the upsell if you want to play on as many platforms as possible. Not only that, it includes an Xbox Live Gold membership for online gaming and a select handful of titles to own entirely.
First and foremost, Xbox Game Pass Ultimate gives you full access to the Xbox Game Pass for Console and PC Game Pass libraries. This means that you can download and play games on both gaming PC and console. In most cases, save data is transferred between them.
This is where things get interesting. Besides letting you download games, Xbox Game Pass Ultimate also lets you stream games. Currently, Xbox Game Pass supports cloud gaming on Android, iOS, web browsers, and even Xbox consoles themselves. Whether you play downloaded or streamed games, your save data carries across all platforms.
In other words: you can download a game to your Xbox, switch to your gaming PC when your spouse wants TV, continue your session on your smartphone in bed, then sneak into a quick session on your work laptop. the next day.
Xbox Cloud Gaming has some caveats. The service is still technically in beta, so connectivity isn’t perfect. iOS functionality, in particular, doesn’t work very well, partly because Apple forces you to use a browser rather than allowing a dedicated app. Not all games are available to stream, and those that are aren’t usually optimized for small screens. Smartphones, in particular, may require additional hardware or convoluted setups, whether you plan to play with a controller or a mount, like the Razer Kishi.
Overall, though, Xbox Game Pass Ultimate feels like a glimpse into the future of gaming. You can play hundreds of games, on any platform you choose, and continue your progress with minimal frustration. The only question is whether you want to spend $15 a month for the privilege. But if you were already paying $10 a month for Xbox Live Gold to access online play, the extra $5 cost for Game Pass Ultimate might be a no brainer for some.
What Xbox Game Pass tier do I need to get?
Do you remember those three questions you asked yourself earlier? If so, you should now have a pretty good idea of which Xbox Game Pass tier to get:
Get Xbox Game Pass for console if you want to download games to Xbox console and don’t care to play some games online
Get PC Game Pass if you want to download games to a gaming PC
Get Xbox Game Pass Ultimate if you want to download games on both Xbox console and gaming PC and or if you want to stream games on Android, iOS, web browsers and Xbox consoles. Also consider Ultimate if you plan to play your games online
It’s also worth noting that there’s one circumstance in which you shouldn’t subscribe to Xbox Game Pass, and that’s if you’d rather own games. Xbox Game Pass has a ton of games, but they come and go regularly, and sooner or later a game you love will leave the service while you’re at it. It’s a frustrating experience and one you’ll never encounter if you just buy games one at a time.
Buying games directly can also be cheaper. At $15 per month, a year of Xbox Game Pass Ultimate will set you back $180. That’s about three big-budget games, or somewhere between nine and 20 indie games, not to mention the mid-budget games you can often find on sale. It’s worth looking at your gaming habits and doing a bit of math before investing in any Game Pass tier.
Otherwise, Xbox Game Pass is an impressive service that will likely get even better in the next year or two. Granted, it can also get more expensive – no subscription service stays the same price forever. If this happens, we recommend running the calculation again and determining if you play enough games each month to justify the bonus.
Xbox Live Gold surprised subscribers with two free games, both of which are Xbox 360 games, and one of which is actually an Xbox exclusive. In addition to January’s free games, Xbox Live Gold subscribers can currently download splash man for free, however, there are a few hurdles to jump through as the game is free through Xbox Live Gold Brazil. You don’t need to be in Brazil to download the game and you don’t need another Xbox Live Gold membership, but you will need to get an Xbox Live Gold account for the region.
splash man – developed by Twisted Pixel Games and published by Xbox – debuted in 2009 via Xbox Live Arcade and as an Xbox 360 exclusive. Upon release, it generated a very respectable 84 on Metacritic and is to this day widely considered the one of the best Xbox Live Arcade games. Below you can read more about it and also check out a trailer:
The Shattered Man: “You’ve blasted the rest, now blasted the best. Splosion Man has a fifty-level single-player campaign and a separate fifty-level co-op multiplayer campaign.”
It’s not the only additional free game offered to Xbox Live Gold subscribers. By the same trick, but via Xbox Live Gold South Korea, Xbox Live Gold subscribers can download dark abyss free. dark abyss is another Xbox 360 game, but developed by Airtight Games and published by Capcom. It came out a year later splash man in 2010. Below you can read more about it and also see a trailer:
Dark Abyss: “Enter ‘The Void’… A grim parallel world of hostile aliens, powerful weaponry and deep mystery… Dark Void’s unique combination of jet-pack powered dogfights and ground combat brings an exciting new dynamic to gaming. Experience a seamless transition between flight and combat in this epic adventure from Capcom.”
At press time, it’s unclear how long either game is available for free to Xbox Live Gold subscribers, but it’s likely only until the end of the month.

Sony has come a long way in the industry. Initially partnering with Nintendo to work on a CD add-on, the companies eventually parted ways and Sony decided to find other ways to enter the gaming realm with their awesome hardware. While Sega of America wanted to partner with Sony and help them make the transition, the Japanese division vetoed the partnership, citing its lack of experience in the industry.

Decades later, Sega has long since left the hardware business while PlayStation is on its fifth console iteration. However, while the PlayStation brand is still going strong, Sony’s tendency to take its player base for granted has resulted in a few mistakes.
ten Failed Ratchet & Clank Movie Brought More Anime Adaptations
With the Unexplored film which will be released in theaters in 2022, it is worth remembering the first of what was to be a series of films based on the many properties of PlayStation – Ratchet & Clank. Released in theaters shortly after its Ps4 tie-in game, the film was met with poor reviews and an abysmal box office performance. Common complaints about the film included its terrible jokes, direct-to-video production values, and uninspired characters. The critical and financial failure of the film led to the cancellation of a project Sly Cooper film from the same director and animation studio.
9 The PlayStation Network outage of 2011
PlayStation Network had a rocky start when it first released on PS3, with most of their issues being resolved after a few updates. However, the network would face another hurdle in its struggles with a hacking group known as “Anonymous”. They orchestrated an outage of PlayStation Network services between April 17 and April 19, 2011. It is believed that the information of 77 million registered accounts were breached during this period, which raised concerns among various governments around the world whole. On May 1, Sony attempted to reward users with a selection of free games and a free 30-day subscription to PlayStation Plus.
8 The PS Vita has been overshadowed by the 3DS and the mobile market
The Vita was yet another effort to dethrone Nintendo’s dominance in the handheld market. Despite impressive exclusives such as Gravity Rush and Uncharted Golden Abyss, sales of the handheld have paled in comparison to the 3DS. However, both companies found out the hard way that this was a war they had no chance of winning.

The advent of mobile gaming has changed the landscape of the laptop market. Consumers wondered why they should spend a lot of money on a 3DS or Vita when they could just play angry Birds Where candy Crush on their phones for a fraction of that money.
seven PlayStation Home suffered from a lack of promotion
Home PlayStation was presented as a virtual world where PS3 users could socialize and challenge other gamers to their favorite games. Unfortunately, other than creating an avatar, playing arcade games, and going to places like Sully’s cafe, there really wasn’t much to do. Homepage suffered from the resignation of one of its founders – Phil Harrison. With little promotion and the absence of a figurehead to lead its direction, Homepage waded. Despite the efforts of some dedicated users to keep it alive, Homepage was finally closed in March 2015.
6 Sony Japan Studio shutter is baffling
Sony Japan Studio was responsible for many beloved titles such as Parappa the rapper, Monkey Escape, The shadow of the colossus, and countless others. When people think of the PlayStation brand, titles often come to mind. This studio’s closure came following a PS5 remaster of one of their titles – Demon’s Souls. While major franchises such as Unexplored and God of the war are instrumental in Sony’s success, it was heartening that they were devoting the funds and resources to more experimental titles such as Icon Where Gravity Rush.
5 PlayStation Move missed the casual gaming boat
The Move was the wrong device at the wrong time. While the PS3 suffered from a lackluster reveal and launch, exclusives such as Uncharted 2 helped boost sales, and the Xbox 360’s red ring of death hardware failure was beginning to take its toll. The Wii still outperformed both consoles, so it made sense at the time to try to cater to the casual audience that motion controls appealed to. However, the PlayStation Move came far too late to capitalize on the unexpected success of the Wii, as the novelty of the Xbox Kinect diverted those casual consumers from fancy controls.
4 Sony regrets not releasing Demon’s Souls in English territories
While the souls games are renowned for their difficulty and atmosphere, there was a time when Sony didn’t want to be associated with them. Demon’s Souls was the result of Sony commissioning From Software to make it an RPG that could rival the likes of Oversight. However, Hidetaka Miyazaki wanted to invoke the pen-and-paper RPGs of yore instead. In Japan, the game received lackluster reviews and lackluster sales, leading Atlus USA and Namco Bandai to release the game in English-speaking territories instead of Sony. The game became a smash hit in the West, and the rest is history.
3 PlayStation has a lack of respect for its history
PlayStation CEO Jim Ryan has been outspoken in his ambivalence towards backwards compatibility and the preservation of classic games. About PS1 and PS2 Grand tourism games, he asked “Why would anyone play this?” Currently, the PS3 Store is the only place players can legally purchase digital copies of PS1 classics, but there were plans to shut down the service altogether.
RELATED: 10 PS1 Games That Have Withstood The Test Of Time
While the backlash prompted Sony to backtrack, such disregard for gaming history is disconcerting and especially disconcerting given that one of the PS5’s flagship launch titles was a remaster of the PS3 title. Demon’s Souls.
2 Two years later, PlayStation 5s are still hard to find
According to a report from Bloomberg, Sony originally planned to stop production on PS4s at the end of 2021. However, PS5 shortages led the company to produce one million PS4s to compensate. This shortage has been attributed to a special chip that has become increasingly rare and the effects of the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic. Two years into the PS5’s life, the platform has only had a handful of exclusives such as Ratchet & Clank A Rift Apart and Return, with a number of titles simply being special or enhanced editions of games available on other platforms.
1 Sony blew the PlayStation 3 reveal and subsequent launch
While the PlayStation brand had totally dominated the fifth and sixth console generations, taking their audience for granted would significantly hamper the success of their third console. The 360 might have had a head start, but Sony could have made up for that in its E3 reveal by showing off the hardware capabilities, must-have games, and an attractive price. Instead, what they launched was Africa, “giant enemy crabs” and Blu-ray compatibility – all for the price of US$599. It was a disaster that will cost Sony the 1st place of this generation.

Xbox Game Pass received a number of important new downloads that can be enjoyed on Xbox One and Xbox Series X consoles in January, but you might want to keep them on your Play Later list for now.
That’s because there are other brilliant free games available to crush this weekend, providing the perfect opportunity to try out new and old titles.
Each month, Microsoft compiles a list of games that can be enjoyed for free using Xbox Live Gold and Xbox Game Pass memberships.
And while the Free Play Days are special events that only last a few days, they offer full access to popular AAA and indie games.
There is no limitation for fans, and all points earned and purchased from downloadable content (DLC) will be retained if you purchase the game at the end of the free period.
And this weekend, fans can download and play The Sinking City, Star Renegades, and Battlefield 2042.
It’s a brilliant lineup that includes something worth checking out for most gamers who might be a bit bored or overwhelmed with the XGP library.
The headline here is that Battlefield 2042, which launched just a few months ago, can be played for free on Xbox consoles until Monday, January 10.
Access to the Free Play Days will end around 8:00 GMT, but you’ll have plenty of time to explore the battlefields of the future by then.
But if flying tanks in tornadoes isn’t your thing, neither the Sinking City nor the Star Renegades are available on Xbox Game Pass right now.
Both games have been around for a while, but now is your perfect chance if you haven’t tried them.
They can be found on your console by clicking on the Subscriptions tab in the Xbox Store and entering the Gold member area.
The download should only take a short time depending on your internet access and offers hours of free entertainment with no content limitation.
The only thing to note is that this new offer is limited in time, which means you have to go to the Xbox Store and claim them now.
Star Renegades is described as a rogue-lite strategy RPG, pitting players against uniquely generated enemies.
The official description adds, “Fight for survival through a mission-based, procedurally generated campaign that is emergent through a responsive, tactical turn-based combat system that emphasizes interruptions and counters.” An intelligent adversary system stands in your way with enemy officers evolving and climbing the ranks.
Meanwhile, The Express rated The Sinking City 3.5 out of 5, writing in the official review, “The Sinking City is a dark and often sinister game to explore, offering fans the chance to solve their mysteries on their own. .
“You don’t find much grip in this sleuth game, which has been wrapped in a Lovecraftian setting, filled with monsters and strange happenings.
“Storytelling and discovery can be the most satisfying parts of The Sinking City, which is sometimes held back by other duller gameplay features.
“But the strongest part of this slimy new package is how the power the player wields over certain situations can seem to carry such weight and consequences.
Set in the dangerous and soggy town of Oakmont, you play as a private investigator drawn to the scene through haunted dreams and visions.
“Having had a few psychic skirmishes yourself in the past, Charles Reed is well equipped to solve the many mysteries and intrigues found around the Haunted Island.
“You have your own mission in trying to figure out what drives you around the turn and why so many other people are drawn to this place.
“Luckily for gamers, solving this mystery means earning some favors from Oakmont’s most colorful characters and there are plenty to keep you busy.”
With so many subscription services all around us, it’s hard to know what to do with our money. Fortunately for us gamers, free-to-play games do exist. With a quick overview of trending free games, Fortnite is still on the list. But do you need Xbox Live Gold to play Fortnite on Xbox One and Xbox Series X | S?
To be objectively clear: no, you don’t need Xbox Live Gold to play Fortnite. Considering the popularity of the game, the fact that it is free for everyone to play online on any Xbox console helps it reach even more gamers.
For a while, gamers had to subscribe to Xbox Live Gold to play online games on Xbox. However, in April 2021, Xbox changed its mind following feedback from fans. Since then, players with an Xbox One or Xbox Series X | S can play free online games without subscribing to Xbox Live Gold. You don’t need Game Pass either, if you’re wondering.
Not everyone might be willing to pay for it, but the service offers a lot of benefits for a relatively low price. As much as free games can be played without a subscription, Xbox Live Gold, which is also included with Game Pass Ultimate, gives you several games for free, each month. Not to mention that it allows you to play online multiplayer games that are not free.
However, rather disappointingly, subscribers don’t get any free packs for subscribing to Gold like they do with PlayStation Plus.
Fortnite is free on PC via Epic Games Store, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X | S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and Android.

Xbox made one of the best games of the late 90s free for a limited time, thanks to Games With Gold and Xbox Live Gold. If you’re an Xbox Live Gold subscriber, you can now download two of January’s four free games, and one of those games is one of Sega Saturn’s best games. By January 15, all Xbox Live Gold subscribers will be able to download Radiant Silvergun for free.
Developed by Treasure, Radiant Silver Pistol debuted in 1998 via the Arcade and the Sega Saturn, but only in Japan. It didn’t get to the west until 2011, when the game was released via the Xbox 360. To this day, it’s widely regarded as one of the best games of 1998 and one of the best shoot’em games. up of all kind.
The other free game, NeuroVoider, is available until the end of the month. Developed by Flying Oak Games, it hit in 2016, scoring an impressive 85 on Metacritic.
NeuroVoider: “NeuroVoider is a two-stick shooter RPG set in a cyber-futuristic world about brains shooting around evil robots with nuclear rocket launchers. Fight the horde of vigilant robots, empower your character with the smoldering remains of your victims and defeat master NeuroVoider to end this eternal war. Play co-op with up to 4 friends, or go alone on a hack’n’slash rampage adventure, with a pinch of rogue-lite and a bit of permanent death . “
Radiant Silver Pistol: “Radiant Silvergun, restored by Treasure, is now available! The shooter that made it a legend remains unchanged, but an “Ikaruga-style” hidden shooting mode gives everyone something new. Previously only available in Japan, Radiant Silvergun on Xbox Live Arcade also features leaderboards, local or Xbox Live co-op play, downloadable reruns, and enhanced visuals, making it the version to own. “

The Xbox One games included with Games with Gold 2021 are NeuroVoider and Aground.
The former is available between January 1 and January 31, while the latter is downloadable between January 16 and February 15.
But without doubt, the choice among the latest free games from Games with Gold is in the backward compatible titles.
The Xbox 360 Space Invaders Infinity Gene title is available between January 16 and January 31, while between January 1 and January 15, Game Pass Ultimate and Xbox Live subscribers can get Radiant Silvergun.
This is a legendary vertical shooter created by Treasure – the masters of the genre who created classic titles like Gunstar Heroes, Sin and Punishment, Ikaruga, Guardian Heroes and the cult classic N64 Mischief Makers.
Radiant Silvergun was first released in arcades before being ported to the Sega Saturn for release only in Japan.
The Saturn version of Radiant Silvergun is one of the most treasured items for retro gamers, with a physical version of the game grossing hundreds of pounds from eBay.
Fortunately, for anyone who doesn’t want to shell out that much for an original copy, Radiant Silvergun was ported to the Xbox 360 in 2011.
It’s available to play on the X Series, S Series, and Xbox One thanks to Microsoft’s extended backward compatibility support.
If you want to play another classic Treasure game, you can also download the Xbox 360 version of Guardian Heroes from the Xbox Store now.
You will have to pay for this download, with this revamped version of the classic Saturn priced at £ 3.39.
But that’s a fraction of the cost of getting a copy of the original Saturn game, which will likely set you back around £ 100 on eBay.
For console gamers, Game Pass, PlayStation Plus, and Nintendo Switch Online serve three very distinct communities within the game. These online services from Microsoft, Sony and Nintendo are all required to take advantage of certain features of their respective consoles. In addition to the nearly half-decade-old Mario-built Home Switch, the latest consoles from Microsoft and Sony have also evolved their approach online since their initial launches.
Nintendo Switch Online is the cheapest and most kid-friendly, while Game Pass allows gamers to stream or play natively on multiple devices. Meanwhile, Sony’s Game Help, included with PlayStation Plus, has helped make the game more accessible than ever. If you only have to choose one, we’re here to break down some things to consider.
Get Microsoft Game Pass if you are looking for one of the largest catalogs of games from the past and present that can be played on multiple devices.
Get PlayStation Plus if you are looking for a huge amount of daily, weekly and monthly sales on games, as well as member-driven features.
Get Nintendo Switch Online if you’re looking for affordable plans for individuals and families as well as one of the most secure online environments available.
You want to access Microsoft’s proprietary range going all the way back to the original Xbox
The ability to play a vast majority of Microsoft’s proprietary lineup dating back to the original Xbox, released over 20 years ago, is alone worth the price of entry to the Game Pass. Of course, the day one releases of modern blockbusters like Forza Horizon 5 and Halo Infinite ensure that the console can arguably compete with Sony exclusives. However, the ability to enjoy versions of the Xbox 360 era such as the original Gears of War trilogy or original Xbox games like Crimson Skies hits all the nostalgia boxes.
That doesn’t even count the large amounts of Bethesda titles added since Microsoft acquired them – from several games in the Elder Scrolls series to more recent titles like Doom Eternal. Other future versions of Xbox Game Studios include Forza Motorsport, Senua’s Saga: Hellblade II, and Fable. And Game Pass is a ticket to play it on day one.
You don’t mind running top tier third-party versions
Microsoft’s proprietary versions aren’t the only games available for Game Pass – high-profile third-party games are coming in and out of the service as well. The number of titles representing various genres and generations of consoles can be a bit overwhelming for some.
For starters, gamers looking for more mainstream versions can enjoy everything from Aliens: Fireteam Elite to Dirt 5. The library expands quite well into the territory of niche indie games like SkateBird and Firewatch. Games like PAW Patrol Mighty Pups Save Adventure Bay and Race With Ryan mean the service has some absolutely kid-friendly versions as well.
You would pay $ 5 more for Xbox Live Gold, streaming on various platforms and EA Play
Unlike PlayStation Plus and Nintendo Switch Online, Game Pass alone does not allow Xbox users to play online multiplayer games. Other than free games, Xbox Live Gold is required for those wishing to play online multiplayer. For $ 14.99 per month, the ultimate level of Game Pass offers the benefits of Game Pass, Xbox Live, and more.
On its own, Xbox Live gives players two free games per month, plus discounts on top of online play. Having Game Pass Ultimate allows buyers deep within the Xbox ecosystem to play natively on Xbox and PC while even expanding to game streaming on those platforms and mobile devices. Those 100+ games split between proprietary and third-party versions also get even bigger with the included EA Play subscription.
Looking to try at least two free games per month on PS4 or PS5
At a basic level, being a member of PlayStation Plus allows users to play online multiplayer. Since the PS3 era, however, Sony’s online service has provided two neatly curated games for subscribers per month. At the end of 2021, PlayStation Plus members can get Lego DC Super-Villains and Mortal Shell as well as PSVR games, including The Walking Dead: Saints & Sinners.
PS5 owners also get access to the PlayStation Plus collection featuring several dozen games from the PS4 era that consist of both first-party exclusives and third-party versions. While the current list of Sony’s most recent games is not the largest, those who have sadly skipped the PS4 can try games like Last of Us Remastered, God of War, Ratchet & Clank, Until Dawn, Detroit: Become Human and more.
You could possibly need big discounts on games
Many gamers understand the feeling of paying a high price for the games upon release and regretting the decision later. The best thing about PlayStation Plus is how generous the discounts are for members of the service. Between newer and older versions, downloadable content, and various in-game currencies, the reduced price for subscribers really alleviates buyer’s feelings of remorse.
You want to try some ancillary features like Share Play and Game Help
Two of the most recent additions to PlayStation Plus since the release of the PS5 are Share Play and Game Help. Share Play offers PS5 users the option to let their friends with PS5 or PS4 consoles view their game screen or try out PS5 games. This allows users who may not have a game or a PS5 to stream games from their friends’ consoles or play co-op games together.
Meanwhile, Game Help is making games a bit more accessible. Supported on games such as Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart and Oddworld: Soulstorm, the feature gives players tips on how to complete difficult goals. Think of them as official gameplay tips that don’t require players to leave their screen for an online guide or YouTube video. All gamers need to do is press the PS button on the DualSense controller and access the functionality through the control center.
You have an additional $ 9.99 for PlayStation Now
Playstation Plus just doesn’t offer the same number of games available as Game Pass and Nintendo Switch Online. However, for $ 9.99, PlayStation Plus subscribers may want to consider adding PlayStation Now. The service offers members the ability to play a large collection of games spanning all the way to the PS2 era via streaming. This allows players to play everything, including previous God of War entries and the Dark Cloud games, and it’s even currently the only way to play Metal Gear Solid IV: Guns of the Patriots.
Besides the ability to stream PlayStation Now on PS4 and PS5, the service works on PC if users have a PS4 controller. Regardless of whether users stream or download selected games natively to consoles, service subscribers also have full access to online multiplayer modes. Similar to Game Pass, games saved through PlayStation Now are transferred between PS4, PS5, and PC.
You care about a safe environment for children to play online
Nintendo has received a lot of criticism for the way it handles online multiplayer. However, for a brand considered more family-friendly than Microsoft and Sony, it makes sense for the Japanese giant to take extra precautions in the space. Although extremely tedious, the friend code system for connecting with other players makes it more difficult for children to interact with random strangers.
It also extends to communication. Outside of free-to-play games like Fortnite and Warframe, most games, including all Nintendo proprietary versions with online play, require the Nintendo Switch Online app (available on Android and iOS) for voice chat. It helps that Nintendo Switch Online also offers family plans that allow monitoring of various accounts.
Want to play a part of Nintendo’s Classic Back Catalog?
Having a Nintendo Switch Online subscription gives you access to dozens of games from the Nintendo and Super Nintendo eras. Along with proprietary classics like Super Mario Brothers and Donkey Kong Country, the membership also offers some very specialized third-party offers.
The gaming experience has also been improved, including the ability to rewind the game at will, instant save, cloud save and even online multiplayer for selected titles. For a flat fee of $ 49.99 per year, users get the Nintendo Switch Online + expansion pack. This not only includes classic titles in addition to the Nintendo 64 and Sega Genesis games, but also unlocks downloadable content for games like Animal Crossing New Horizons.
Looking for the cheapest way to play online
Nintendo Switch Online is also the cheapest online service compared to Game Pass and PlayStation Plus. By itself, the service costs only $ 3.99 per month. At this price, users can play games online and enjoy the current selection of games from the Nintendo and Super Nintendo era. As an added feature, many compatible games offer the ability to save game data to the cloud as well as various special offers. People looking to immerse themselves in the world of online multiplayer have a great place to start with this service.
Choosing between Game Pass, PlayStation Plus, and Nintendo Switch Online depends on the type of gaming experience you’re looking for.
If you want to play a large library of games that is constantly growing and spanning different generations of consoles, then Game Pass makes sense. We recommend that you go with Game Pass Ultimate as it includes Xbox Live Gold. Playstation Plus is ideal for casual gamers who don’t buy a lot of games and may need help from time to time. Meanwhile, parents concerned about their child’s online gaming habits can rest assured that Nintendo Switch Online will provide a safe experience at a very affordable price.
Whether you’re one of the lucky ones who managed to grab a next-gen Xbox Series X, or you’re still playing on your trusty Xbox One, a subscription plan is one of the best ways to get the most out of your game. your console. Unfortunately, with three different membership plans, it’s not always easy to find the one that best suits your needs. We’ll break down the different subscriptions Microsoft offers and the best deals available on each plan so you can get exactly what you need for less.
There isn’t one, but three different services you can subscribe to to improve your Xbox gaming experience, so which one should you get? Well it really depends on what kind of gamer you are. You can see our detailed breakdown here, but here are the main differences so you can choose the plan that’s right for you:
If you prefer the multiplayer chaos of online gaming, then a Gold membership is pretty much a necessity. To play almost any game online, whether it’s running and shooting in the latest competitive shooter, or mowing down hordes of zombies with your friends across the country, you will need an Xbox Live Gold subscription to do this. Even if, since last April, free games like Fortnite and Warzone won’t need it anymore. Gold costs $ 10 / month, or you can purchase a three-month subscription for $ 25 and save a few dollars each month.
If you prefer a single player experience, then Game Pass is a good deal. Signing up gives you instant access to over 400 games from the Xbox catalog. There is a huge range of games available, from major titles like Batman: Arkham Knight and Back 4 Blood, to charming little indies like Hades and Firewatch. Plus, classics from the 360 era like Mass Effect and Fallout: New Vegas.
There are two versions of this subscription, one for console users and one for PC users, but they both cost $ 10 / month. The only major difference is that the PC plan includes an EA Play subscription, which adds a few more titles to your library and provides exclusive rewards and content for certain EA games. There’s also a three-month for $ 1 promotion available on the PC subscription available now.
Ultimate Game Pass
Game Pass Ultimate is the best of both worlds. At $ 15 / month, an Ultimate membership bundles both the Gold and Game pass for $ 5 less than it would cost to sign up separately. You’ll have access to the entire Game Pass library on your console, PC, and even your mobile device, plus a Gold membership so you can play games online as well. You’ll also get perks like exclusive offers and in-game content, and that includes the EA Play membership. For versatile players who don’t want to compromise, this is your best bet. And when you sign up now, you get your first month for just $ 1.
Contrary to comparable subscriptions for PlayStation, unfortunately there is no annual subscription plan available for Gold or Game Pass, which makes it a bit more difficult to consistently find them at a good value. While offers straight from Xbox sometimes burst, they’re inconsistent and usually only available to new subscribers. However, other retailers and third parties sometimes have deals on digital codes to help you save money every month. Here are the best ones we found that are available right now.
If you are looking for multiplayer chaos then this will be your best bet for good value for money. This Best Buy bundle costs $ 60 for an entire year, which cuts the monthly cost in half to just $ 5.
For PC users who want to try out tons of new games, this is a great deal. If you’re a new subscriber, when you sign up now you’ll get your first month of Game Pass for just $ 1, followed by two months free. This brings the cost per month down to just $ 7.50.
If you’re looking for the best value for your money, then this plan is for you. Ultimate already saves you $ 5 per month by bundling a Gold and Game Pass membership, and that six-month membership is on sale for over $ 20 less than it would cost you to pay monthly. At $ 69 in total, that brings the cost per month down to $ 11.50 instead of the usual $ 15. The bargains on Ultimate memberships are pretty slim, so this is the best value you’ll find right now.
It is unfortunately out of stock at the moment, but hopefully we will see availability in the next few days.

It’s a new year, and we’re up for whatever Xbox Live Gold has to offer for our membership this year.
Understandably, that’s about as neutral as you’d expect to start a new year with one of the cheapest gaming subscription options, but that shouldn’t surprise anyone. The good news is that while none of the games are overwhelmingly exceptional, you do have some solid options for playing.
The first is Neurovider, a 2016 double stick rogue-lite shooter with randomly generated maps. You can choose from three different game modes depending on the level of challenge you want to complete, three different robotic suits to wear, the skills you want and the stage. Of course, you can improve things along the way. And the music is pretty wonderful too. If you’re a rogue-lites fan, take a look at this one.
Failed released last year and is an open-world crafting RPG that really feels like a cross between Minecraft and Terrariums, just with a crazy storyline that sucks you in as you progress. The gameplay is pretty straightforward and the only thing you can struggle with is managing inventory as the world expands around you and you realize how much this game has to offer.
Radiant Silver Pistol is a remastered version of the 1998 Sega arcade game and is a classic brutal shooter. You’ll potentially feel like you’re playing a Souls game with how much you’ll end up dying at first before your weapons improve enough to feel like they’re doing something. And it doesn’t look like a dated game either (which is a bonus).
Space Invaders infinity gene takes the old-fashioned arcade classic to new heights. When you start to play it starts to look like the usual Space invaders. But the more you play, the more you progress, the more the game evolves around you, a bit more of an RPG than just the old arcade game. It’s definitely a different spin and still just as fun.
You can still grab one of December’s free games (Tropico 5 penultimate edition) until January 15.

A number of games have been confirmed to replace these listed titles, including Anacrusis on January 13, as well as Pupperazi and Windjammers 2 on January 20.
For those looking for a new shooter, the Anacrusis is a replayable four-player FPS set on an abandoned spaceship, filled with monsters.
The full gameplay description explains, “Every time you play The Anacrusis the game changes. The AI pilot controls all aspects of the game, he spawns every enemy, rules every boss, and places all weapons, gadgets, and health kits in the game.
“The goal is to offer the perfect difficulty according to the preferences of your group, but it goes much further than that. The driver knows which part of the story each player went through, so the secrets of the alien attack, the relationships between the characters and even more rhythms of the story unfold as you play. You’ve never experienced a cooperative FPS like this before.
Congratulations, you have a next-gen console. It’s hard to believe that more than a year after the launch of the Xbox Series X / S, it’s always so hard to find one. But you did. Or someone who really loves you and gave it to you for the holidays. How nice they are! Anyway, now that you have a new Xbox, you might be wondering what to do with it, or maybe you just want a few helpful tips to get you started and start playing great games like Infinite haloas soon as possible. Kotakuis here to help!
Make sure you have a free Xbox account
Although you can create an account on the console, using your phone or PC is faster, easier, and gives you a convenient way to save your password, allowing you to log in to your computer more efficiently. the future. Create the free Xbox account will allow you to access the Xbox store and record your purchases, so you can play all your games on other devices just by signing in with your Xbox account.
Download the Xbox app on your phone
Once you have an Xbox account, download the free Xbox app. This will make configuring the console much easier. Although you can set up an Xbox Series X / S console without a phone, using the app streamlines the entire process of signing in and configuring things like language, location, and Internet settings. Moreover, once everything is set up, the app can be used to message friends, send invitations, group chat, etc.
Check if your controller is up to date
I know, weird stuff that controllers can be updated, but take the time to check through the settings menu. From there go to “Devices and connections”, where you can update all the accessories connected to your console. The controllers can be updated wirelessly or via USB.
Configure automatic connection through your controller
If you trust everyone in your home or live on your own, this option is great and saves time! Go to the account settings section of your new Xbox and search for “Sign-in, security, and passkey.” From there you can link your currently active controller to your Xbox account. Now, every time you use this controller, your Xbox will automatically sign in with your account. Remember that only one account can be associated with a controller, and once you activate it, anyone will be able to access your account just by using that controller to turn on the console.
Calibrate your TV and Xbox
Your new Xbox is powerful and can produce great pictures, but the graphics will be even better if you make sure the TV and Xbox are calibrated correctly. Fortunately, Xbox Series X / S has super easy to use tools to polish and perfect your image, located in the video options of the general settings menu.
One of the tools here will let you know if your TV supports High Dynamic Range (HDR) colors, faster refresh rates like 120Hz, or Variable Refresh Rate (VRR) technology. If your TV supports some of these features, this same menu will allow you to quickly switch between these and others. Make sure you take a moment to get everything right. If you have a fancy TV that supports all the bells and whistles, it would be a shame not to take advantage of it. Once you experience a game running at 120Hz with HDR, you won’t want to go back.
Get the Ultimate Game Pass
While you can enjoy an Xbox without Microsoft’s Game Pass service, we strongly recommend that you give it a try. Game Pass is by far the best gaming deal right now and will provide you with a big list of great games to check out, many of which can be downloaded and installed in a matter of minutes. In particular, all games published by Microsoft, such as Infinite halo and Forza Horizon 5, come for free with a Game Pass subscription. the Ultimate Game Pass The level also provides you with Xbox Live Gold, letting you play games like GTA Online and Battlefield 2042 online and gives you free games every month through the Games With Gold program. Ultimate also includes free PC games and cloud streaming. It is worth improving.
Oh, download the Game Pass app too
I know two apps for the Xbox look weird, but if you are interested in playing a lot of games through Game Pass, get the app. It’s easier to browse the Game Pass library through your phone, and you can start downloading and installing games through the app, which is handy if you’re at work or school and hearing about awesome new game which has just been added to the service. Start downloading it through the app and it will be waiting for you when you get home.
Start downloading great games
It’s time to take the plunge. A great way to start is to use our list of the best Game Pass games to see some of the greatest pleasures service has to offer. Some of the main recommendations include Halo Infinite, Forza Horizon 5, Control, Hollow Knight, and The outer worlds. But there are so many more. And if you’d rather be scared, we’ve got some thoughts on awesome horror games Game Pass too much.
Customize your dashboard and organize all those games
As you start downloading more games, your Xbox dashboard will start to get cluttered. A great way to combat this entropy is to create new dashboard sections. Just press the ‘two squares’ button on the controller (it’s called the ‘view’ button, by the way … weird) and you’ll find the ‘Personalize Home’ screen. Here you can change the colors, theme, and background of your dashboard and console. Most importantly, you can add and remove content sections from the main screen. For example, you can create a section called “Backlog” and paste all the games you want to play into it. Or you can organize by genre. Or whatever works for you. Even games that you have not yet installed can be assigned to these sections.
Consider buying a better controller and a better headset
I think the new Xbox controller is fantastic. But if you want something a little more chic, you can always switch to Elite Controller, an improved and more advanced controller hardware component. It features useful paddles on the back, as well as improved rubber poles and grips. Personally, I haven’t made the jump to an Elite controller – it’s very expensive – but many have praised it.
I can however personally recommend the excellent official Xbox headset. It’s easy to use, sounds great, and can sync with your Xbox and another device at the same time. This allows me to talk to people online through Discord on my phone, while listening to game audio from the Xbox. You can even use the button on the side of the headset to adjust the balance easily and quickly while playing.
Do it all before give it to someone
If you’re reading this before buying someone a new Xbox, or if you already have it and you’re about to pack it up, Stop! I highly recommend setting this up ahead of time, completing most of the suggestions above before giving the shiny new console to the recipient. That way, they can open it, plug it in, and start playing right away!
A new console is a great gift, but an even better gift is a new console filled with games already set up and ready to play.
Once you’ve connected your Xbox, installed some fun new games, updated your controller, and sorted out your TV settings, it’s time to stop reading this article and go play some video games. Well, unless you want to dig into the comments first, because I’m guessing a few readers might have their own additional tips and tricks. Either way, enjoy your new Xbox!

Xbox Live Games with Gold titles for January 2022 appear to have been revealed ahead of Microsoft’s official announcement.
The games have apparently been confirmed once again by the Dealabs user billbil-kun, which has already disclosed the PlayStation Plus line five times, as well as December’s Xbox Live games with Gold titles and the Epic Games Store’s 15 Days of Free Games promotion.
They claim that January’s Xbox Live games with Gold titles will be RPG mining / making Aground, RPG double-ended shooter NeuroVoider, and Radiant Silvergun and Space Invaders Infinity Gene shoot’em ups.

Xbox Live January 2022 Games with Gold
Beached (January 16 to February 16)
NeuroVoider (January 1 to January 31)
Radiant Silvergun (January 1 to January 15)
Space Invaders Infinity Gene (January 16 to January 31)
This month’s Games with Gold titles include The Escapists 2 (available through December 31), Tropico 5 Penultimate Edition (available through January 15), and Insanely Twisted Shadow Planet (available through December 31).
January 2022 PlayStation Plus games were revealed on Wednesday ahead of Sony’s official announcement.
According to billbil-kun, next month’s PlayStation Plus games will be Deep Rock Galactic (PS5 / PS4), Dirt 5 (PS5 / PS4) and Persona 5 Strikers (PS4).
“Why am I posting offers in advance? They wrote (via Google Transalate) in a Dealabs article explaining their decision to disclose gaming offerings. “To help you plan your purchases (if you have one), so you don’t jump on a fake promo, for example, or delay your purchases if you plan to make one today.” The goal is simply to save as much as possible.
Unsurprisingly, the free PlayStation Plus games for January 2022 were leaked early. Now is the eighth month of this year that the monthly giveaways for Sony’s online subscription service have appeared online ahead of their official reveal. But why break with tradition, eh?
The French point of sale Dealabs is again responsible for offering us free games in advance. I’d say take this with a pinch of salt until the games are officially confirmed… but at this point Dealabs has a 100% track record of getting the PlayStation Plus goodies.
January 2022 free PlayStation Plus games, they say, will be action RPGs Persona 5 forwards, racing game Dirt 5, and sci-fi shooter Deep Galactic Rock. Not a bad range!
Depending on the leak, PS Plus subscribers will be able to download the PlayStation 4 or PlayStation 5 versions of Galactic Deep Rock and Dirt 5, with the new generation versions benefiting from their own range of technical and graphic improvements. Persona 5 forwards, Meanwhile, is a PlayStation 4 giveaway. This is the second month in a row that subscribers haven’t received any content exclusive to PlayStation 5, suggesting that Sony has heard comments from fans that those who still use a PS4 felt a little left behind.
PlayStation will undoubtedly officially unveil the free PlayStation Plus games for January later this week. Just try to be surprised when this happens, right?
The popular social deduction game Among us released on PlayStation and Xbox consoles on December 14, and there’s more that makes them similar than makes them different. Although the game was originally released in June 2018, it only saw great popularity in 2020. Since then, Among us has been released on even more consoles, making it accessible to virtually anyone who wants to try the title for themselves.
What started out as a social deduction game similar to Mafia and City of Salem but in outer space has since become an Internet phenomenon. As well as popularizing the word “sus” – an abbreviated word for “suspect” which was also used in similar games – Among us has generated countless memes and is a popular game choice to watch on Twitch and YouTube. The social character of Among us makes it an easy game to come back to and play anytime, so its release on many platforms is a natural progression of its rise in popularity.

Related: How Among Us Fans Play On Mac
Indeed, with its release on PlayStation and Xbox, Among us is now available on all major current generation consoles. In addition, cross-platform play is possible between all versions of the game. With PC, Android, iOS, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, Xbox Series X / S, PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 to choose from, the games naturally all have to be similar. so that players do not have inherent advantages or disadvantages based solely on the system they are playing on. Among us Crossplay is part of its appeal: players can play the game with their friends even if they do not all have the same system as each other. But that does mean that each version of the game has more in common than different things, especially for Xbox and PlayStation consoles.
Among Us costs $ 5 on PlayStation and Xbox
When Among us Released on June 15 for Android and iOS and on November 16 for PC in 2018, the game was free to play, with in-app purchases for cosmetic items like skins and hats. All later versions of the game were aimed at consoles and cost $ 4.99 to download. However, this game purchase does not include special cosmetics, which means anyone who wants Among us the costumes will have to pay them in addition to the price of the game. An alternative option exists however for the Xbox players, because Among us is part of the Xbox Game Pass service. Anyone who pays the monthly fee of $ 9.99 can download and play Among us.
Online subscriptions are required to play with us in multiplayer
To access online multiplayer while playing Among us on PlayStation 4 or 5, a PlayStation Plus service is required. It is the same for playing Among us on Xbox consoles: Although Microsoft removed the Xbox Live Gold online gaming requirement for free games earlier this year, Among us is not free on any home console. Xbox Live Gold is required to play online games like Among us, and even the Nintendo Switch is not exempt from the online service requirements with Nintendo Switch Online. Players who want to avoid paying for online subscriptions will need to look away from the Xbox and PlayStation versions of Among us and opt for the PC or mobile versions of the game instead.
Play among us with a controller (and without a keyboard)
Although it is possible to play Among us With a controller when playing on PC, access to a keyboard made chatting during meetings easier on PC and mobile than on Nintendo Switch. The same goes for the game’s release on the Xbox and PlayStation consoles. For players who don’t like touch controls, adjusting the movements and tasks on the controllers and control buttons can make the game easier. But without a keyboard or voice chat, communicate in Among us can be more tedious on console compared to its 2018 versions.

Getting used to the Quick Chat system will be helpful in Among us players on PlayStation and Xbox consoles, although this has its limitations compared to just typing normally. Another option that console gamers may want to consider is using an external chat method, such as Discord, but it’s important to remember that in a living room with random players it’s also beneficial to keep them in the conversation. . For private games, however, external chat methods can help alleviate the communication limitations that Among us faces on consoles.
Cosmetic differences between us on Xbox and PlayStation
The players in Among us can customize their character using hats that appear on or cover the crew member’s upper body, skins that cover the lower half of their body, animals that follow them around the map, and even unique visors. All versions of Among us are updated at the same time, so they all have access to the same cosmetics and Cosmicubes. Here, however, is where the biggest difference between the PlayStation and Xbox versions of the game lies: the PlayStation version of Among us will receive exclusive cosmetic products based on the Ratchet & Clank series of video games.
These exclusive cosmetics have yet to be released, but have been revealed as a ‘Ratchet Skin’, designed to look like Ratchet’s suit, ‘Ratchet’s ears’ as a hat and a’ Clank pet. “. As the Ratchet & Clank the series is exclusive to PlayStation, it makes sense that these cosmetics are only available on the PlayStation version of Among us. It doesn’t hurt the gameplay either, as the costumes are completely optional, so players who don’t have access to the PlayStation editions of the game are in no way at a disadvantage.
The upcoming inclusion of these cosmetics may cause fans to wonder if other costumes exclusive to certain versions of Among us will be produced, but it seems unlikely that this will be the case. Currently it is possible to link Among us player accounts on all platforms except Nintendo Switch and PlayStation. By linking an account, players can transfer all of their in-app purchases as well as their level and Cosmicube progress through Among us systems. While account linking to the Nintendo Switch is not possible at this time, it is currently underway and will hopefully be available soon. Xbox Live Gold subscribers have received messages congratulating them on being an “All-Star Gold Member” with 5 free months of Xbox Game Pass.
It looks like Microsoft and Xbox are getting into the Christmas giveaway mood, as some Xbox Live Gold members report receiving messages from Xbox congratulating them on being an “All-Star Gold member.” Coupled with this message, a code allows you to use 5 free months of Xbox Game Pass. This is a substantial giveaway, since it is almost six months of Xbox Game Pass.
One Reddit user claimed to have received such a message on his console detailing what would happen to his remaining Gold membership if he chose to use the 5 months free Xbox Game Pass. For those who receive the message from Microsoft, it looks like the remaining Gold time will roll over on a 1: 1 basis. For example, if someone has 18 months left on their Gold membership, they will have a total of 23 months of Game Pass Ultimate after redeeming the code.

There has been speculation that this message could be a scam, so caution is advised when receiving the message. However, some users who also received the Xbox Live Gold message and used the attached code say it seems to be working fine. At first glance, the message appears to have been sent directly from Microsoft so that anyone concerned can rest. Keep in mind, however, that these codes are not transferable.
As to why this is only sent to a handful of selected people, and at random, it remains unclear. The company is known to do this sometimes throughout the year, but it never gives a reason to do so. One possible explanation is that Microsoft’s internal systems have spotted some gamers as longtime Xbox Live Gold users, and Microsoft trying to get them interested in an Xbox Game Pass membership. If so, it is indeed a tough deal to turn down, even just to try the service.
Xbox Game Pass is currently on the rise and continues to offer many games per month, as well as exclusive Xbox titles released on the day and date to the service. Recently, Forza Horizon 5 had the biggest Xbox launch of all time without a doubt thanks to Xbox Game Pass and Infinite halo just released 10 days ago to be a hit with critics and fans alike. The future looks even brighter for the service with exclusive day one releases of titles such as The Senua Saga: Hellblade 2 and Fable.

Just in time for The Witcher Season 2 premiere, Secretlab is releasing a brand new chair that summons the spirit of Geralt of Rivia.
Xbox Game Pass received a flurry of exciting new downloads this week, but you should probably skip them over the weekend.
That’s because there are two more free games available for download this weekend that can be played on Xbox One and Xbox Series X.
Microsoft has launched its latest Free Play Days event, available to all Xbox Live Gold subscribers, XGP included.
This weekend, fans can download and play Assassin’s Creed Odyssey and the Tokyo 2020 Olympics – The Official Video Game at no additional cost.
Both games have been around for a while, but if you haven’t tried them yet, now is your perfect chance.
Microsoft has confirmed that Assassin’s Creed Odyssey and the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games – The Official Video Game, will be available until December 20, with access ending around 8:00 GMT.
Assassin’s Creed Odyssey is a highly rated and revised installment of the popular franchise that made some big changes to the original formula.
Expanding into a more open format, the game pulled harder on the RPG elements, offering something different for those getting used to the larger worlds available in Origin.
The Express Review was published in 2018 and left Joseph Carey impressed with the narrative progress, explaining:
“Alexios’ story is in many ways reminiscent of the glory days of the Ezio Trilogy which delivered a gripping tale and kept players engaged.
“Players see him go from a somewhat unconscious young man living on the island of Kephallonia to an untouchable warrior who would make even Achilles think twice before challenging him to battle.
“The main quest of Assassin’s Creed Odyssey has several story arcs that have constantly kept us invested and waiting for the next twist.
“But while the game excels at telling a remarkable story, it’s the cast of likable and often humorous characters that keeps you coming back for more.”
“Alexios is definitely the highlight, but he’s joined by a number of other main characters who make the events always entertaining.
“The voice acting is for the most part nailed down, although a few character performances end up being boring due to excessive hype.”
So it might be worth leaving these more recent versions in the Xbox Game Pass library for a few more days so that you can try out two games that are currently not available as part of the subscription service.
And if you want to play more of either game, you can download both of them for a reduced price. Current deals on both games this weekend include the following:
Assassin’s Creed Odyssey
Standard Edition (SRP $ 59.99) at 75% off: $ 15.00
Ultimate Edition ($ 119.99 SRP) at 70% off: $ 36.00
The Fate of Atlantis DLC ($ 24.99 SRP) at 50% off: $ 12.50
Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games – The Official Video Game
Standard Edition ($ 39.99 SRP) at 50% off: $ 20.00
A long setup can put a damper on the joy of a nice gift, both on the giving and receiving side. Running updates immediately after lighting up a new tech toy can be a real bummer, and uploading files instead of attending a holiday rally isn’t that fun, either.
There is, however, a simple solution: manage all that work. before you are giving away a technological gadget.
Not only is this advice proven, it becomes even more relevant every year. Increasingly, companies are focusing on immediate updates to shipped products. As a result, some of the more popular tech giveaways can be real-time sinks, especially newer PCs and game consoles. Take the time now to apply fixes, install needed apps, and download huge ones. games, and your recipient will be able to dive directly. During this time, you can continue to spend time in the background and relax.
Our list below is the most common things you need to do to get your tech giveaways really ready. It’s not just PCs, Xboxes, and PlayStations, even low-key things like fitness trackers can use this kind of attention. For example, Fitbits sometimes offers firmware updates that can take up to 40 minutes. (Seriously.)
Of course, some people love the setup process and see it as part of the ownership experience. If your giveaway hits that person, wait for updates. Ditto also if there is a chance that you need to exchange your gift for something else. (Check the store’s return policy on open items first.) But most people appreciate this gift of time.

We go into more detail on how to set up a new Windows computer, but here’s a quick rundown of what to take the time:
Running Windows Update
Configure security for the PC, including installing third-party malware (if desired)
Remove any unnecessary bloatware
Installation of necessary or useful programs (for example, a favorite browser, password manager, document and spreadsheet editors)
Install fun software like games or music streaming apps
If you’re setting up a Windows 11 PC, you might also consider installing a program that emulates the look and feel of Windows 10. The most popular option is Start11, which costs $ 5. (For more details, you can read our practice with the program.)
Xbox, PlayStation and Nintendo game consoles
Consoles don’t require a lot of maintenance, but system updates and game downloads can be huge. If you don’t have a super-fast internet connection, it can take literal hours to get everything you want on the system.
You’ll want to download and install:
Applications (Netflix, Hulu, etc.)
If the console is for a young household member, you can also create and sign in to the account they will be using (if applicable), as well as activate any online subscription like Xbox Live Gold, PlayStation Plus, or Nintendo Switch Online. .
Not sure if you need an online membership? It depends on the type of console you purchased and what features you are looking for. They are generally required for cloud saves (except for Xbox), the ability to play online, and access to a selection of free games during the term of the subscription. (Are you primarily interested in subscribing to a lot of Xbox games? Find out how to get Xbox Game Pass Ultimate on the cheap.)
Phones and tablets
Most people can handle the setup of a phone or tablet on their own, and given how apps are tied to a particular account, this is somewhat necessary. But for the tech-savvy, getting a perfectly working phone or tablet can be a gift in itself.
Presumably, you’ll either set up their first account or already manage their Apple or Google account. This should make it possible to:
Configure their system settings (display, ringtones, etc.)
Applying pending system updates and security patches
Download and connect to applications
Application configuration (if applicable)
You’ll probably still need to help them set up security measures like FaceID or a fingerprint reader (with their PIN or password) in person. But doing this reduces a lot (a parcel) installation time later.
Rob Schultz / IDG
This category can be a bit of a toss-up. Some devices, like wireless headphones and Kindle, work immediately without requiring a mandatory update. Others, like recent Fitbits, may have a firmware update pending, and it will fit into the normal setup without any difficulty.
You can wait for these products to update, they usually don’t take as long as setting up a PC, game console, phone or tablet from scratch. But if you want to do it ahead of time, you’ll usually download a companion app to your phone or tablet, pair it with your device, and then search for new firmware.
Streaming equipment (Roku, Amazon Fire TV, Apple TV)
Jared Newman / IDG
Most people can manage their setup on their own, but if you are managing streaming accounts for someone who is not very tech-savvy, log into any services they use before they go. give the device.
Smart home equipment
In fact, it is better to leave the installation of this equipment to the recipient of the gift. The best smart home products are fairly easy to install and come with good user guides.
But if you’re concerned about the difficulty level and the device supports Wi-Fi, you can connect it to your router, install the latest firmware, and configure preferences. The gift recipient can then change the Wi-Fi information later.
If the device connects to a smart home hub, you’d better leave the setup to the other person. (Or set aside a separate time to do it for them.)
PlayStation Plus subscribers can now earn a new free skin for Fortnite as part of a new cross-promotion between the world’s most popular battle royale game and Sony. In the past, Sony has offered various free goodies for Fortnite as a way to reward PS Plus subscribers. As such, this new promotion isn’t necessarily unfounded, but it continues to show that Sony is still looking for ways to give out new PS Plus giveaways outside of each month’s free games list.
This new Fortnite The set now available for download to PlayStation Plus subscribers actually consists of two components. The first is a skin for the character of Sultura. This outfit is mostly decked out in black and blue colors while Sultura herself comes in donning a mask with white hair protruding from the top. The second element is then a new pickaxe known as the Cymitar. It looks like the curved sword of the same name, as you would expect.
So if you are looking to download this new Fortnite fixed for yourself, what should you do? Well, the process is actually quite simple. Just head over to PlayStation Store and simply “buy” the Celebration Pack, as it’s officially called, just like you would with any other item. Once done, the next time you log into your Fortnite account, you should see the new skin and the pickaxe sitting in your locker.
It should be pointed out that no matter where you play, be it PlayStation 4 or PlayStation 5, you can take advantage of this offer. In fact, due to the way Fortnite accounts can be interconnected between platforms, you can even download this skin through PlayStation Plus and keep using it through Xbox, Nintendo Switch, PC or mobile versions of the game.
Will you take this again Fortnite package for yourself if you subscribe to PlayStation Plus? And how do you feel Fortnite Chapter 3 as a whole now? Let me know in the comments or message me on Twitter at @ Mooreman12.
LG’s gaming TVs are some of the best around, with brilliant contrast, premium OLED panels, low input lag, exceptional response time, and a host of gamer-centric features including VRR ( variable refresh rate) and Nvidia G-Sync (for connection from compatible PCs). But there’s an extra feather in LG’s cap these days, and that’s support for the Google Stadia gaming platform.
We heard in January 2021 that the Stadia game streaming app would eventually be coming to LG TVs such as the LG C1, LG G1, LG A1, and LG CX of 2020. As of December 2021, the Stadia service is available for download on any LG smart TV running webOS 5.0 and later, which basically includes 2020 models and later.
For any gamer already using an LG OLED TV for their games, the availability of Stadia is an added bonus to a suite of gaming features. But we don’t recommend purchasing a particular TV based on that alone. capacity. It seems unlikely that the appearance of Stadia, even on the best gaming TVs, will stop the platform’s constant decline and its possible demise from the market.
The problem with Stadia
Oh, Google Stadia. The high-profile game streaming service was meant to be the refined market disruptor that delivered on the promise of platforms like OnLive, a longtime predecessor that launched too early for the world to really care about. .
The concept of game streaming is simple: by putting the processing load on a server, the device displaying the game has to do very little work. This means that even AAA-intensive games can perform well in a browser, smartphone, or smart TV, given that they only show off the awesome work being done elsewhere.
And Stadia certainly impressed in its early demos, especially for trying out hit games at home, even without the latest gaming kit.
But now it’s clear that Google bit more than it could chew in this department. After courting reputable publishers and investing a lot of money in developing its own exclusive games, Google was forced to shut down its games department in the face of number of subscribers well below the company’s forecasts. Even the judged games alone possible on Stadia are finding homes on other platforms as developers seek to give their creations longevity.
A major issue affecting the viability of Stadia is the ease with which people can buy or play games elsewhere. If you want to play without purchasing a dedicated console, you can purchase titles through Steam or the Epic Games Store on your computer. You can subscribe to Apple Arcade on an iPhone or tablet, or even just stick with free games like Fortnite and Apex Legends.
Stadia may be able to host more intensive games than some of these devices, but many who are interested in demanding gaming experiences will likely invest in suitable hardware.
Getting the most out of a gaming TV
The thing about the best gaming TVs is that they are best used with a PS5 or Xbox Series X console, to use the HDMI 2.1 specification allowing 4K / 120Hz pass-through from connected devices. The real appeal of Stadia is its compatibility with cheaper, more everyday gadgets. But if you can afford a good home gaming setup, why splash around on a premium TV rather than a good console, especially since the latter will cost, at most, half the price of this screen?
Google Stadia’s (paid) Pro level will boost the service’s base 1080p resolution output to 4K, with HDR and 5.1 surround sound (if you have the right audio gear), but that monthly cost of $ 9.99 / 8, £ 99 could be spent on platforms or consoles which give you more bang for your buck.
With programs like Xbox All Access, you can pay a monthly fee – like with a cell phone contract – that includes a console as well as a suite of games. The highest tiers of this service even include game streaming options through Xbox Cloud Gaming, which doesn’t require you to purchase a game again. Plus, Xbox Cloud Gaming is built into the platform. Xbox / PC in a way that Stadia cannot recreate. The Xbox ecosystem is paving the way for a future where game streaming dominates, without trying to drive users away from existing platforms before market conditions are truly set.
The result is a market that Stadia was never quite ready to disrupt or dominate. And anyone who loves their brand new gaming TV is unlikely to see much value in a service that so far has failed to offer a meaningful alternative to everything else.
The basic Stadia plan is free, and you might want to check out what it’s like to play Destiny 2 on the internet from home. But it’s hard to shake off the feeling that most games are better bought, better played, and better maintained elsewhere. After all, why invest in a game library that may not be supported in a few years?
Xbox Live Gold subscribers have two new free games to download, courtesy of Games With Gold. One of these two games is a classic Xbox 360 game or, more precisely, Orcs must die, which debuted in 2011 via Robot Entertainment as one of the most notable Xbox Live Arcade games. At the time of release, the tower defense game generated metacritic scores ranging from 79 to 83, depending on the platform, with many praising it for abandoning the typical top-down view that tower defense games are known for in favor of. ‘a third person. Action POV.
“Slice them up, burn them, spit them up and throw them – no matter how you do it, the orcs must die in this fantastic action-strategy game from Robot Entertainment,” one blurb read. official in-game. “As a mighty war mage with dozens of deadly weapons, spells and traps at your fingertips, defend twenty-four strongholds from a rampaging mob of bestial enemies, including ogres , hellbats, and of course a whole bunch of ugly orcs. Battle your enemies through a story-driven campaign across multiple difficulty levels including brutal Nightmare Mode! Will you roast orcs in pits of lava, flatten them with a ceiling trap or freeze them and smash them with a slash? No matter what weapons and traps you choose, you are sure to have an orc killing blast! “
The other new free game is The escapees on Xbox One, which debuted in 2015 via developer Moldy Toof Studios and publisher Team17. Upon release, the game received rather favorable reviews and quickly became a commercial success. It’s free all month, until December 31 Orcs must die is only free until December 15th.
“You’ve found yourself in prison again, and your only chance is to organize an escape by whatever means necessary,” reads an official blurb on the game. “How to do it, it’s up to you. decide! Why not cause a riot in the prison? Or dig a tunnel right under the prison walls? Or even steal a guard uniform to blend in with your captors? The Escapists is a unique prison sandbox experience with many craftable and combinable items on your daring quest for freedom. Life in prison will keep you on your toes with the strict rules you will have to break. Tropico 5 – Penultimate edition, December 16 to January 15
Orcs must die!, December 1 to 15
Incredibly twisted shadow planet, December 16 to 31
Xbox Live Gold December 2021 Highlights
The Escapees 2 is adorable prison escape game that uses your time management skills. It can be a bit repetitive at first until you get the hang of the flow of things. Your ultimate goal is to break out of jail, but how you do it and what you do during your time behind bars is up to you. Originally released in 2015, this sandbox / open-world / puzzle game should be at the top of your list for this month’s games.
Tropic 4 was offered as a free-to-play game in May, so it shouldn’t come as a surprise that Tropic 5 is on the role about six months later. If you’re in the mood for a city / world building game that takes you from colonial times to the 21st century, this is your game of the month. The Penultimate edition also includes the add-ons of The big cheese and Hostile takeover.
The orcs must die! does tower defense pretty well. Released in 2011, it is a bit dated today, but remains relatively playable (even if the servers are down). The longer you play it, the more fun it becomes. Each level contains puzzles that are not always as simple as you might think, with some giving off Portal-esque vibrations where you have to go and clear your head before you can come back and understand.
Incredibly twisted shadow planet Satisfy your desire for a solid Metroidvania game this month. The animation is absolutely magnificent and it is unfortunately far too short to fully appreciate it. Play as a cute little UFO exploring a crazy alien world full of tools and puzzles. Honestly, if you are a fan of Hollow Knight, you will love this game.
Of course, remember that you still have access to Kingdom Two Crowns free games from November to December 15.
Xbox Game Pass Ultimate is an all-you-can-eat game video game subscription service with exceptional value. It has evolved far beyond its Xbox origins to become a subscription that offers something to anyone who plays games, and now encompasses console and PC game downloads, access to online multiplayer services, a deal with gaming giant EA and a cloud-based service. which streams games to almost all devices. It also offers many Day One launch games from Microsoft’s own studios.
Finding the right version of Game Pass can be confusing. Microsoft offers multiple versions, but due to the division of features between them, only the $ 15 per month Ultimate plan, which we’ll shorten here to XGPU, with all of the perks detailed above, really makes sense.
It’s this collection of features, for less than the cost of a Netflix 4K subscription, that earns Game Pass Ultimate an Editors’ Choice Award for 2021.
Unique breadth of functionality
Ideal for console and PC games
Catalog of 400 games

Choose the right package
Plain old Game Pass costs $ 10 per month and includes just a library of famous to obscure games, which you can download and play on Xbox One or Xbox Series X and Series S consoles. As with all of these subscriptions, games move in and out of the library on a regular basis due to licensing agreements, but Microsoft’s core products such as Halo and Forza are generally permanent. Even when a game leaves the library, you can transfer your progress to another storefront like Steam – not easily, but you can.
If you want to play online multiplayer games, in most cases you will need a separate Xbox Live subscription of $ 10 per month to play online against other people. It’s included in the Ultimate package, so you can already see why this is the plan Microsoft is really pushing you towards.
Note that free games, like Fortnite, does not require an Xbox Live subscription for multiplayer.
If you subscribe to just one CNET newsletter, this is it. Get top editors’ picks from the day’s hottest reviews, news, and videos.
The $ 10 per month PC Game Pass plan uses an Xbox-only Windows-only app to download and install a subset of games from the full Game Pass library to run locally rather than stream. As these are full PC games, you will need a gaming laptop or desktop computer with a sufficiently powerful graphics card and processor, as well as plenty of hard drive space, to use it. . Game Pass for PC also includes EA Play, a subscription that alone costs $ 5 per month or $ 30 per year.
But the best bang for the buck is the Xbox Game Pass Ultimate membership. For $ 15 per month, you get both console and PC game libraries, perks and discounts from EA Play, as well as Xbox Gold – $ 10 per month alone – which focuses on online multiplayer games. . To top it off, you can play on phones, iPads, or even a Mac using Xbox cloud games. For all those who love the two console and PC games, you’d be hard pressed to find a better deal, especially if cloud gaming continues to become a bigger part of the mix.

Action-adventure games and shooter series like Battlefield, Destiny 2, Gears of War, and Halo make up the majority of the service’s catalog of around 400 games. By our calculations, action / adventure games accounted for 30% of titles on Game Pass, with shooters accounting for an additional 15%. Role-playing games and sports titles also performed well, but horror fans and puzzle enthusiasts will find a smaller selection (around 5% of the library). Still, Game Pass offers access to classic platform games like Banjo Kazooie, matching and puzzle games, RPGs, and unique indie games like Twelve minutes and Underworld.
The games are categorized so that you can easily find family-friendly, action-packed games, or even a last-ditch of games that are soon to expire on the platform. Game Pass is a comprehensive and intuitive service: once you’ve found a title that interests you, simply download the game to start playing.
The Game Pass Ultimate difference: width and depth
For its intended purpose, Microsoft has unmatched advantages over its competitors for several reasons. The company has a long history in video games – Microsoft Flight Simulator launched 40 years ago and the Xbox 20 years ago – and it has the DirectX graphical programming interface used by both Windows and its Xbox consoles. It has well-established game development studios and engulfs more and more independent studios every year, in addition to maintaining relationships with all major game developers. And it operates a vast network of state-of-the-art data centers optimized to serve cloud applications: Xbox Cloud Gaming is as much about Azure as it is fun.
The key here is “the intended goal”, as XGPU is just one of our two Editors’ Choice Awards for cloud gaming: the other is Nvidia GeForce Now. XGPU is great if you don’t already have a large library of games or want to play them on any device, making it a good choice for almost anyone. GeForce Now is ideal if you already have a large library of PC games and want to play them on any device with high quality and frame rates, making it a good choice for more experienced gamers.
The two complement each other more than they compete with each other, and they require the least amount of adaptation work for developers, ensuring rapid growth in the number of games supported. It probably takes longer to sign license agreements than it does to prepare a game for either service.
In contrast, most of XGPU’s competitors only deal with parts of the bundle; for example, Google Stadia and Amazon Luna have robust networks for streaming to multiple devices, but they have small game libraries because games are harder to import.
And a boring irony is that Sony had the biggest head start on cloud gaming and pretty much blew it up, leaving PSNow just a nice and relatively inexpensive choice as a game library for the PlayStation that doesn’t. not even offer the latest Sony exclusives like XGPU does.
Where it is missing
As a jack of all trades, XGPU does not master all aspects. For example, its cloud gaming stream is still limited to 1080p at 60 fps, while Stadia can do 4K and GeForce Now 1440p at 120 fps.
And there are few things more angry than settling down to play on your PC and finding out that the game won’t launch until you update Windows because the Xbox app is too tied to the game. Microsoft Store – a major buzzkill that has often pushed us to upgrade to other non-Game Pass games.
It has a noticeable number of new games and Day One launches, but the library also removes games on a regular basis. Like many subscription services, the game (or movie or TV series) you want always appears to be on the service you didn’t subscribe to.
While it’s great that EA Play is included in the price of the XGPU subscription, it isn’t integrated so tightly. For example, on the PC you still need to install another launcher and the family settings in XGPU do not apply to EA Play.
The value game
When it launched, Game Pass looked a lot like Netflix when it first started streaming: an interesting idea, but a slim catalog. It is now the default publishing platform for major games from Microsoft-associated publishers such as Bethesda and blockbuster series such as Halo and Forza.
As it has evolved into the multi-headed hydra that is Game Pass Ultimate, it’s hard to rationalize even buying an Xbox without also subscribing. A 12-month subscription costs the same as three major new games (or even less, now that a lot of new games have gone down to $ 70). And more importantly, it gives gamers a chance to sample a much wider range of games from developers of all sizes, solving one of the game’s biggest discovery challenges.
Xbox has officially unveiled the new list of free games that will be available as part of the Xbox Live Games with Gold program for the month of December 2021. That entire list was actually leaked prior to its official disclosure from Microsoft, which means that we already had a good idea of what to expect in the coming month.
As usual, four new titles will join Xbox Live Games with Gold in December. From December 1st, The Escapees 2 and The orcs must die! will both be available for download to Xbox Live Gold subscribers. It’s the kind of deal that sells itself. It really doesn’t need a lot of explanation. You get three months of Xbox Game Pass Ultimate for $ 24.99. As the holiday season approaches, one of the most daunting questions of the year is, “What am I going to put everyone on my list?” This question may strike even harder for those looking for players. Let’s be honest, it’s hard to keep track of the uninterrupted new additions to the gaming world that are coming out all the time. That’s why we’ve put together a list of a few items that would make perfect stocking stuffers for any gamer in your life. Each is small and most cost $ 50 and under, so you can shop in comfort without having to worry about breaking the bank.
Nintendo game and watch: The Legend of Zelda: $ 50
After Nintendo showed the value of releasing a modern Game & Watch featuring Super Mario Bros., he decided to roll the dice again with a model based on The Legend of Zelda series. The Game & Watch is already a classic Nintendo novelty and the Zelda focus only adds to the charm.
This bad boy isn’t just for the show, however. It includes three full games of Legend of Zelda, including the original game The Legend of Zelda, Zelda II: Link’s Adventure, and The Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening. It also comes with a classic Game & Watch remixed by Zelda called Vermin, an interactive clock mode, and an interactive timer mode. This is a must have item for any Zelda fan in your life.
Xbox, Switch, or PlayStation gift cards: $ 10 to $ 70
If you’re not sure exactly what to get the gamer you’re looking for, you can always go the classic route and just give them some cash to spend on whatever console they want. Xbox, PlayStation, and Nintendo Switch each have gift cards and digital codes readily available for purchase, each starting at $ 10 and going up to $ 70, depending on the console. You can easily find the cards in most stores and the digital codes can be found through a quick search on Amazon.
Xbox Live Gold, Switch Online, or PlayStation Plus card: $ 8 to $ 60
Xbox Live, Nintendo Switch Online, and PlayStation Plus are all subscription services that offer special benefits to subscribers. These perks include the ability to play online games, get access to special free games, get special deals in the market, etc. This is why a gift card for these services is a great idea for a stocking stuffer. The price will vary depending on how long you want to offer the service to them, but starts at $ 8 for a month of Nintendo Online and $ 10 for a month of PlayStation Plus and Xbox Live Gold. The highest is $ 20 for one year of Nintendo Online and $ 60 for one year of Xbox Live Gold and PlayStation Plus. You can easily find a digital code card on Amazon for each of these products.
Xbox Game Pass Ultimate: $ 15
Xbox Game Pass is a subscription service that allows Xbox and PC gamers to choose from a wide variety of games and play them at their leisure. The service has been talking about the gaming world for a long time, and for good reason. It gives any gamer instant access to tons of great games for a monthly subscription. Amazon offers a one-month card for the service at $ 15 and a three-month card at $ 38. The service is only accessible from Xbox One, Xbox Series X / S, and PC. Game Pass also offers cloud gaming, allowing gamers to stream Xbox games to their phones.
Nintendo Switch memory card: from $ 15
Nintendo Switch is a great console, with an even better game library. Unfortunately, the console is not optimized to download too many games at once due to its small memory size. That’s why you might want to consider gifting your Switch owner a SanDisk microSD card. These cards increase console memory and allow better playability of more games without constantly having to manage memory. They start at $ 15 for the smallest size at 64GB and their price increases as the size increases. You can find them on Amazon.
An 8BitDo controller: $ 20 to $ 50
If what your gamer is looking for is a good controller, check out the 8BitDo controller line. This controller company has been publishing the benchmark standard for third-party controllers for PC, Xbox, and Nintendo Switch for years and is easy to find on Amazon. Their controllers come in all shapes and sizes, from more retro-style palettes and modern pads, to mini controllers and retro-modern hybrids.
Animal Crossing Amiibo Cards: $ 6
If you have an Animal Crossing fan in your life, you might want to throw a deck of Amiibo cards in their bottom. Originally created for the Nintendo 3DS and Wii U era of Animal Crossing games, Nintendo has since reprinted them and made them compatible with Animal crossing: new horizons on the switch. You can use these cards for a variety of things in the game, like inviting villagers to your campsite or the newly added Roost. At just $ 6 a pack, these are ideal stocking stuffers… as long as you can find them. It’s a particularly popular commodity, so keep an eye out for your Black Friday shopping spree.

Slowly but surely the gaming world is starting to look a lot like the streaming world. It’s pretty common for many people to have multiple streaming services to their name, including, but not limited to, Netflix, Hulu, Disney Plus, HBO Max, Prime Video, Paramount +, and more. This means that it’s sometimes difficult to decide which one to watch or even get rid of, especially given the price tags that come with each one.
Of course, in-game subscriptions aren’t that new, as MMOs and more have had them in the past. But they can also be easily counted: Xbox Live Gold, Xbox Game Pass, PlayStation Plus, PS Now, Nintendo Switch Online, Humble Choice, Apple Arcade, Amazon prime, and more. Some are required for online activity, while others offer games to play or keep for download or streaming. Like streaming services, however, these can be very difficult to maintain, especially for those who enjoy gaming on all platforms.

Xbox Live Gold and Game Pass, in particular, can be bundled into one, but Game Pass is the big draw for many. It’s been compared to the game’s Netflix a few times before, while everyone else has their own strengths and weaknesses as well, making it difficult to decide which to play first, which to download, etc. But Amazon Prime Gaming has a big advantage over every other subscription service.
Don’t sleep on the Amazon Prime game you already have
In essence, while the purchase of these other subscriptions is intentional, necessary, and for a purpose, many gamers probably already have Amazon Prime Gaming without realizing it. Amazon Prime Gaming, so to speak, is included with Amazon Prime, a sort of subscription often required for online purchases. Nowadays, many people use it to send their packages faster, but that’s not all for it.
While Xbox Live Gold and PS Plus can be used for online gaming and a few free games, and Game Pass and PS Now can be used for a larger game library, Amazon Prime Gaming is an assortment of gaming content. There is exclusive in-game content, several free PC games each month (KEEP), and bonuses for Twitch.
Amazon’s free games with Prime for November 2021 prove their worth
Because it’s included with Amazon Prime, there’s little reason not to take advantage of it. This is the biggest resistance of the subscription, but the offers prove it too. There is the main event, of course, the free games. For November, this includes the following:
The Age of the Dragon: Inquisition.
Control: ultimate edition.
The rise of the Tomb Raider.
Riddle Agent 2.
Demon Hunter 2: New Chapter.
The brakes are for the losers
Secret files: even Peter
Of course, 9 free games is a bigger deal than most, and some of them may only be aimed at more specific audiences. But Amazon’s free games with Prime usually grab the headlines every month with powerful games, such as Dragon Age: Inquisition, Control: Ultimate Edition, and Rise of the Tomb Raider this month. Not only are these games good on their own, subscribers who already have Amazon Prime can claim and keep them for free.
Combine that with Twitch bonuses and in-game content like Apex Legendsnew character Ash’s Venom Blade Bundle plus game bundles for Genshin Impact, League of Legend, Destiny 2, and more, and there’s no reason not to take advantage of the membership players are most likely to keep when they save money.
Amazon prime members get a handful of free games and more each month.

Unlike Free Play Days, members who download these titles at certain times of the month can keep the games as long as they maintain an Xbox Live Gold membership.

what Xbox Live Gold and Game Pass Ultimate subscriptions get you? Free games. Loads and loads of free games.
Every month you’ll find a handful of free games to download on Xbox One, plus a few games for Xbox 360 (also available to Xbox One owners thanks to backwards compatibility), and they’re yours to keep for as long as you want. continue to pay the subscription. However, there’s a problem with the Games with Gold promotion: they’re only available to download for a few weeks each, and then you won’t find them for free.
Luckily, we’ve got you covered: these are the free Xbox Live Games with Gold games available in March 2020, on both consoles, and we’ll keep this space updated with new picks each month. And if you still haven’t landed February’s free games, you’ll find those listed at the bottom. Move, yeah?
On Xbox Live Games with Gold in February 2020
Batman: The Enemy Within (XB1)
You’ll get the entire second season of Telltale Games’ Batman series, following the availability of the first season in January/February. Like The walking dead and other Telltale titles, this story-driven experience tasks you with choosing dialogue options and making tough choices – now as the Dark Knight himself. It’s free the whole month of March.
Shantae: Half-Genie Hero (XB1)
On March 16, you can also add Shantae: Half-Genius Hero at your library. This old-school side-scrolling platformer stars a badass belly dancer who whips her hair like a weapon, and is the latest in a series of cult favorites. You will have until April 15 to get this one.
Castlevania: Lords of Shadow 2 (360)
The first one Castlevania: Lords of Shadow did a pretty good job of translating the classic 3D space adventure series, but Shadow Lords 2 wasn’t as strong. It’s a little God of the war-esque, but not quite at that level of quality. Take this between March 1-15.
Sound Generations (360)
Sonic Generations put a single, uh, twirl on the series’ formula by letting you play as both classic and modern Sonic in the same levels – played sideways on the former and behind the back with the latter. The result is one of the best Sonic latest-gen games, and you get it at the end of the month starting March 16.
Still available in February 2020
It’s not March yet… at least not at the time of this writing. If the calendar page hasn’t been removed yet, be sure to grab those free games before the end of February.
Available for free download throughout February, TT Isle of Man is one for hardcore bikers. This racer faithfully recreates the 37.73 miles and 264 turns that make up the famous Snaefell Mountain Course, with realistic gameplay approved by real TT riders.
If sinister Lovecraftian horror is your bag, Call of Cthulhu scratches the itch and then some. The official video game adaptation of the famous pen and paper RPG will be available for download from February 16 to March 15.
While it may have lacked the content and depth of its multiplayer counterparts, and there was no single-player campaign to sink your teeth into, the long-awaited return of Star Wars Battlefront both looked and sounded the part, and well worth revisiting if you don’t feel like you’ve stepped out of Star Wars afterwards. Jedi: Fallen Order and The Rise of Skywalker quite yet. Grab it from February 16 to February 29.
Xbox Live Gold is Xbox’s subscription service that allows subscribers to play online multiplayer games with other real people on Xbox consoles (like Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S). Xbox Live Gold also includes other benefits for subscribers.
Here’s what you need to know about Xbox Live Gold.
How does Xbox Live Gold work?
Xbox Live Gold is a monthly subscription service that offers subscribers a number of benefits. First, Xbox Live Gold subscribers can play online multiplayer games with other people. Although an Xbox Live Gold subscription is not required to play free multiplayer games like Fortnite and Apex Legends, Xbox Live Gold is required to access multiplayer modes in most other games on Xbox consoles.
Then, Xbox Live Gold subscribers will receive at least two free games each month, which may include backward compatible Xbox 360 games. Xbox calls this benefit “Games with Gold”.
Xbox Live Gold subscribers can play the free games they receive through Games with Gold as long as they have an active Xbox Live Gold subscription. If a subscriber cancels their Xbox Live Gold membership, they can re-unlock access to those games by re-registering for Xbox Live Gold or purchasing the games directly (although this restriction may not apply in some cases). You can read more about the Games with Gold perk on the Xbox Support website.
Finally, Xbox Live Gold subscribers get access to discounts in the Microsoft Store.
How much does Xbox Live Gold cost?
Xbox Live Gold costs $ 9.99 per month or $ 24.99 for three months.
Xbox Live Gold is also included at no additional cost with the Xbox Game Pass Ultimate membership. Xbox Game Pass Ultimate allows subscribers to play over 100 video games on Xbox consoles, PCs, and mobile devices (mobile gaming is delivered via cloud streaming). You can learn more about Xbox Game Pass Ultimate in our Xbox Game Pass guide.
Finally, you can gift someone with an Xbox Live Gold membership by purchasing an Xbox Live Gold gift card (you can also purchase an Xbox Live Gold membership as a gift on the Microsoft Store website).
Is there anything else parents need to know about Xbox Live Gold?
Some of the games offered under the Games with Gold benefit are rated M for Mature by the ESRB, which means they are not suitable for children. Parents can use Xbox parental controls to make sure their kids can’t download these adult games.
I’m not the type to fear change. I will change my mobile operator whenever I can get a better deal, stop going to my favorite restaurant if a better one opens, and even change careers if it doesn’t work (don’t don’t get excited, it’s going pretty well). I drink Coke and Pepsi. The change has never bothered me – in fact, I often rejoice in it.
That being said, I never once considered ditching Steam for another platform. I’ve been using Steam since I was 13 and enjoy having all of my 477 games in a library. I haven’t always liked all of the decisions Valve made, and sales have really faded away, but I’ve stuck with Steam all these years because of the fantastic selection of games, cool features and, most importantly, because all my friends use it.
But I’ve been stuck in a dilemma for a while now, wondering if Steam should really be my default store. Between the growing library of free games on the Epic Game Store and the unrivaled selection on Game Pass, I started spending less and less time on Steam. At this point, when a new game comes out, I’m not as sure as I was before that I should buy it from Valve’s storefront.

Related: Back 4 Blood, The Good Life, Destiny 2: Beyond Light PC Coming To Game Pass This Month
This all came to a head with the release of Back 4 Blood, a Game Pass game that offered early access to anyone who pre-ordered the Deluxe Edition. Eager to play, my friends and I debated where to buy it for a long time. At first, it seemed like a simple choice: if we want to play it early, we should buy the deluxe version on Steam, but if we’re willing to wait for launch, we can just play it “for free” on Game Pass. The more I thought about it, the more it became clear that there was no good reason to buy Back 4 Blood on Steam anyway.
Suppose I wait and play Back 4 Blood on Game Pass and save $ 60. The risk is that one day Back 4 Blood will be taken out of Game Pass or, God forbid, Game Pass will stop, so I will no longer have access to it. In that case, I could just buy Back 4 Blood on Steam or through the Xbox app and I wouldn’t have lost anything. In fact, the price will likely have come down by then.
But even though Back 4 Blood wasn’t on Game Pass at all, does it really make sense to buy it on Steam? Back 4 Blood has cross play, so it doesn’t matter where my friends are playing it. It’s also a Play Anywhere title, so when I buy it on the Xbox app, I can play it on my PC or Xbox. I probably won’t play B4B on an Xbox because I’m a KB + M player, but at least the option is there. If I buy it on Steam, I can only play it on PC. With Steam, I feel like I’m paying the same price for fewer features. Whether I get the Deluxe Edition to play early or wait for Game Pass, it’s obvious I’m playing it on the Xbox app anyway.
The problem is that not all games on Game Pass or the Xbox app are on par with the Steam version. I recently reviewed Lemnis Gate and found that the cross play options were extraordinarily limited. In these cases, it would be best to buy games on the same platform your friends are playing on, which is most likely Steam.
It may be too early to completely turn your back on Steam. The Xbox app only has a small fraction of the games on Steam, and cross-play isn’t always an option. Also, the Steam Deck could completely change my pace next year and make me want to buy all the games on Steam for the portable option. That said, I’m open to buying games like Back 4 Blood on Xbox when it can give me a better deal, and that’s something I didn’t expect after so many years of being in Steam. . “Phoenix Point” was developed by the same team that created “X-COM” and was previously available on Xbox Game Pass on PC. The title introduces the base game as well as four major DLCs and the upcoming “Corrupted Horizons” expansion.

EA Dice revealed that the delayed beta of Battlefield 2042 will now start next week, but the free beta will not be entirely free for all players
The Battlefield 2042 Open Beta FAQ, confirms that those wishing to access the beta on Xbox platforms will need an Xbox Live Gold subscription, while those on PlayStation platforms will not need a PS Plus subscription.
“The Battlefield 2042 Open Beta is available to play on PC (via Origin, the EA app, Steam, and Epic) and console (PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X | S),” the FAQ states. . “Please note that PlayStation Plus is not required to participate in the Open Beta, however, if you are playing on Xbox you will need to be an Xbox Live Gold subscriber.”
Earlier this year, Microsoft made free games on Xbox platforms more accessible, removing the need for gamers to have a subscription to Xbox Live Gold, the subscription to Microsoft’s online gaming service. This meant that Xbox gamers could access free games like Call of Duty: Warzone, Apex Legends, Fortnite and more without having to pay a subscription, making them truly free. Likewise, PlayStation gamers do not need a PS Plus membership to play these games.
However, Battlefield 2042 is not a free-to-play game and instead is a full-priced title that encompasses three different multiplayer experiences. But, still, for an open beta, asking for an Xbox Live Gold membership seems a bit overkill, especially when PlayStation gamers don’t need it.
Additionally, if this is an approach that applies to the main version of Battlefield 2042, it will give PlayStation players an edge over Xbox players, allowing them to access the main game for the initial cost. of the game without having to spend more on a subscription. . Xbox gamers, on the other hand, would need to purchase both the game (between $ 60 and $ 70) and a subscription ($ 60 per year) to play Battlefield 2042.
TechRadar has reached out to EA to comment and confirm whether an Xbox Live Gold or PS Plus subscription will be required for Battlefield 2042. We’ll update this story as we have more.

Microsoft is making another batch of free games through its Xbox Live Free Play Days promotion this weekend. This week’s trio doesn’t seem to have much of a unifying theme, but it does feature Sega Judgement in a clear nod to some upcoming release. We’re also seeing a Free Play Days veteran return to this weekend’s lineup.
This returning veteran is none other than Hunting: Confrontation, which has featured on many Free Play Days weekends in the past. However, this time around it seems Hunting: Confrontation is included due to a new in-game event titled “Light the Shadow” which will allow players to unlock new legendary weapons and hunters.
Maybe the star of this weekend’s giveaways, however, is Judgement. It certainly doesn’t seem like a coincidence, given that JudgementFollowing, Lost judgment, releases September 24. If you’ve never played Yakuza spin-off before, seems like a great opportunity to dive into the game and see what it’s all about before Lost judgment hits the shelves next week. Just keep in mind that Judgement is only available on Xbox Series X | S, so if you don’t have one, you’ll have to stick with the other two games this weekend.
The third and final game included in this week’s Free Play Days promotion is Blood Bowl 2: Legendary Edition. We saw a lot of War hammer during the Free Play Days lately, and with the inclusion of Blood Bowl 2: Legendary Edition, it looks like this weekend will be no different.
As is always the case, there are discounts to go with these free games as well. Hunting: Confrontation is on sale at 55% off, bringing its price down to $ 18, while Blood Bowl 2: Legendary Edition is 80% off with a new price of $ 4. Unfortunately, Judgement is not on sale, so if you take a spin and decide you like it, you’ll have to shell out the full $ 39.99 to keep playing. All three games are free for Xbox Live Gold and Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscribers until September 19 at 11:59 p.m. PDT.
Xbox is announcing its next bundle of free games, including Battlefield 5, which will be available to Xbox Live Gold members during the company’s Free Play Days.
Xbox has added a number of titles to its game library over the past few months. Beyond the growing list of games included with Xbox Game Pass, the company also offers free play days that allow players with an Xbox Live Gold membership to try certain games for free for a limited time. Recently, Xbox announced their next batch of free limited-time games. Among the titles included is that of EA Battlefield 5.
The full list of titles that make up Xbox Free Play Days includes Battlefield 5, Assetto Corsa Competizione, and The Elder Scrolls Online: Unlimited Tamriel. Battlefield 5 and Assetto Corsa Competizione are playable for free from Thursday, August 26 at 12:01 a.m. PDT through Sunday, August 29 at 11:59 p.m. PDT. However, The Elder Scrolls Online lasts a few extra hours until Monday, August 30 at 7:00 a.m. PDT. Over the weekend, all three of these games are also available for purchase from the Xbox Store at a significant discount.

Each of these games offers something different for players to try out. Battlefield 5 immerses players in immersive 64-player battles while providing a single-player story mode. The inclusion of Battlefield 5 as part of Xbox’s free games seems like a logical move given that the company has proposed Battlefield 4 as part of the Free Play Days just a few weeks ago. As the exit from Battlefield 2042 approximate, Battlefield 5 is an option for fans looking to return to the series while waiting for the next installment in the franchise.
The other two games offer alternatives for those who prefer to play something other than an FPS. Assetto Corsa Competizione allows players to get behind the wheel of some of the fastest cars in the world in the Official GT World Challenge game. For gamers looking for an MMO style experience, The Elder Scrolls Online: Unlimited Tamriel allows players to dive into a vast world of RPGs and even play the prologue quest Gates of Oblivion.
In addition to this ongoing offer for Xbox Live Gold members, gamers can also redeem Battlefield 5 on Amazon Prime. As part of Amazon Prime Gaming, Amazon Prime subscribers can get Battlefield 5 for free on Origin. The game is also included with Xbox Game Pass.
It’s exciting to see new games such as Battlefield 5 added to Xbox Free Play Days because it gives gamers the option to verify a title before purchasing it. It will be interesting to see what other Xbox games make free for a limited time in the future.

“Diablo III: Reaper of Souls” has appeared as a free game on Xbox Live Gold, and it’s not an exercise. Redditors were the first to spot the game through the subscription platform, but is only available for console platforms as there is one “buy-to-play” game left on PC. The company has not announced the availability of this popular 2012 game.
Prior to that, “Diablo 3 ″ stayed at its lowest for a while, as the last buzz it made was when it was teased by Blizzard Entertainment for the Nintendo Switch. The game has been around for quite some time and remains a popular classic that complemented the original “Diablo” game series trilogy.

The entire “Diablo’s” franchise has been the subject of several remakes and remasters for various platforms including the Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch. The game was originally released by Blizzard on PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, Windows, macOS, and Classic Mac OS.
This means that the game is very old and originally released in 2012. However, it only shows that it is a timeless classic as gamers were very excited to play the game. Although it is an old title, “Diable” still made noise when Editors first noticed that the game was available through Xbox Live Gold.

No further details have been revealed on this matter.
Some Redditors are also unsure how long this game will be available on Xbox Live Gold, and most of its fans have already downloaded it so it won’t be lost or unavailable.

‘Diablo 3’ How to download
(Photo: Diablo / Facebook)
Users only need to have a Xbox Live Gold subscription to get the game, and it is known that it costs $ 9.99 per month. To access it, gamers just need to browse their Xbox Live Gold tabs on their console stores and download the game directly to their consoles to get to work.
Note that accessing it through the computer or web browsers would not guarantee that the download would work, much less that it would be seen by players through the platform. There was no explanation why it’s limited to Xbox Live Gold for consoles and why it was a surprise drop for gamers this month.
Earlier this year, Xbox Live Gold already ended its subscription allowing gamers to play the more than 50 titles available for multiplayer setups.

We knew that the previous games available for free via Xbox Live Gold were “Rock of Ages III: Make or Break”, “Darksiders III” and “Lost Planet 3”.
When it comes to “Diablo III: Reaper of Souls,” gamers should expect its popular hack-and-slash RPG game that heavily features elements from the previous game in this release. Nothing has changed, and it is still the public’s favorite “Diablo 3”, only that it is offered now and remains a timeless classic for the console.

In December 2020, Xbox invited Space Jam gamers and fans as well as coding enthusiasts to help design “Space Jam: A New Legacy – The Game” and now the game is finally over! The game will first be available with Xbox Game Pass Ultimate.
The game has very Gundam-like PVP mecha gameplay where players can use robots, weapons, and use landscapes to fight other players. The game is a combination of skill and strategic thinking as it makes PVP more entertaining.
The name really says it all because “Warface” is a contemporary first-person shooter that already has millions of fans around the world. The game revolves around five different classes, each with different skills, teamwork, raids, PVP modes, and more.
The game might sound simple, but it actually turned into a multi-billion dollar profit mega platform! The company behind the valuation of roblox is $ 38 billion, as seen on BusinessofApps, which is quite impressive especially when playing the game.
Soccer? Racing cars? Why not the two of them? This game brings together the best of both worlds where players can experience the rise of a high octane rating along with the advanced skills needed to play soccer.

In addition to Xbox, of course, Steam also offers a number of interesting games that are also free. For those who think that playing games can be a waste of time, then maybe NFT games could be of interest as players can play while making a profit.
