This weekend, Xbox Live Gold and Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscribers can play three titles for free, including the Yakuza series spin-off Judgement.
The following, Lost judgment, is coming next week and you absolutely won’t want to miss it. In our review, we called it “a lucky dip where every time you load it up to play you’re never sure what you’re going to do – but you’ll rarely, if ever, be disappointed.” You can dive into the cold from the sequel, but this free weekend will give you the chance to explore Private Detective Tak Yagami’s first outing.
Or, if the thought of investigating a horrific murder spree, stopping only to hunt down an underwear thief called “Ass Catchem” doesn’t appeal to you, there are two other titles you can tackle for free. . There are Blood Bowl 2: Legendary Edition, a fantastic vision of American football, and Hunting: Confrontation, a player versus player bounty hunting game.
We’ve heard enough good things about the latter to take him for a ride. For example, a bullet usually won’t kill you, so if you’re quick enough you can take out someone with an ax before they can fire a second shot. Surely that will mean pulling us away from The Death Loop multiplayer, but we’re ready to give it a go.
So: what if you decide to buy one of these titles, to play it beyond the free weekend? There is good news and bad news. Hunting: Confrontation will be on sale for $ 18.00 and Blood Bowl 2: Legendary Edition will be available for the ridiculous sum of $ 4.00. Jjudgement, however, will not be discounted and will cost $ 39.99.
Allowed, Judgement has only hit Xbox consoles this year, with the English version being released on PlayStation 4 in 2018. But with Lost judgment arriving on September 24, you’d think SEGA would lower the price to attract even more potential buyers.
The free weekend started now, through Sunday, September 19 at 11:59 p.m. PDT.
