New updates are added at the bottom of this story…….

The original story (published April 15, 2022) follows:

Destiny 2 was released by Bungie Studios in 2017 as the latest action FPS game in an MMO environment, being the direct sequel to Destiny and all of its expansions.

The world of Destiny 2 is full of loot, raids, bosses, and challenges that make it an enduring experience for fans of this type of game.

Also, after a rocky start, the game is now available for free. You can play it on Windows OS devices and current and previous generation consoles.

That said, currently Destiny 2 PC players who purchased the game through the Microsoft Store are facing a “Stingray” error code when trying to run the game through the Xbox app (1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, seven).

Destiny 2 ‘Stingray’ Error Code on PC for Microsoft Store Buyers

According to multiple reports, many Destiny 2 PC players are experiencing the issue that prevents them from accessing the game through the Xbox PC app (1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6).

I’m probably an idiot.

I own all Destiny 2 expansions/dlc available now through legitimate purchase. But when I try to play I get the error code Stingray. I know the base game of Destiny 2 is free and I know the added version of expansions is out of gamepass. But I just need to know how to integrate my $170 gamepass addons with the base game.

Yeah so i was playing vog and i got connected because my internet went down, then i tried to reconnect and i got stingray. I tried several times, checked the status of the servers and restarted my PC and nothing worked. Please someone a solution?

Reports indicate that none of the methods players tried to fix the issue worked. Even completely uninstalling and reinstalling the game doesn’t help.

I have the same problem. I have tried restarting my computer, logging out and back in, verifying and repairing the installation. I even reinstalled after deleting the old game pass addons to solve a different problem. I am trying another reinstall now.

I saw there was maintenance today, but it’s been over for almost an hour now according to Bungie’s Twitter help and I’m still having trouble.
