April’s Xbox Live Games with Gold has been announced, and there will be two modern titles – as well as two Xbox 360 games – on offer.
The first is Another view and Kaloki Outpost Xboth of which will be available to Xbox Live members starting April 1. Another view will be part of the service for the entire month, until April 30, and is a steampunk fantasy platformer.
Kaloki Outpost X was originally released on Xbox 360 and PC in September 2004, and is a city-building title. The twist here is that it takes place in space, so you have to keep the aliens happy rather than the humans. While Kaloki Outpost X arrives at Games with Gold on April 1, it will be released on April 15.
April’s headliner games with gold is probably Tint, Nevertheless. A stylish and colorful platformer originally released in August 2016, it will be available from April 16 to May 15.
The same dates apply to the Xbox 360 title, MX vs MTB alivethe 2011 off-road racer from publisher THQ’s original incarnation.
As long as you download the games during their availability period, they’ll be yours, so even if you’re not ready to play them right away, it’s best to put them in your library for later.
The Xbox team will likely soon announce a slew of Game Pass titles for April as well, and Weird West will be a day-one release for the service on PC, Cloud, and console on March 31. April isn’t as stacked for game releases as it has been in recent months, so it’ll be interesting to see what new games hit the service then.
In other news, the sequel to The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild has been postponed to spring 2023. It was originally planned for this year, but the team needs more time and “continues to work diligently”.
The video game market is at a time when it’s never been bigger, consistently delivering an unlimited amount of high-quality entertainment for both experienced and inexperienced gamers, ranging from AAA games that require tens of millions of dollars to produce , until the re-releases and remasters of retro games done decades ago. The market has grown to accommodate dozens of different types of games, and over the past few years retro games have made a comeback in many different forms.
Some companies, such as BANDAI NAMCO, have completely recreated some of their most famous games, such as last year’s release of PAC-MAN 99on the Nintendo Switch. In other cases, companies like Atari have chosen to port older games, such as the original donkey kong, to current-gen consoles so players can experience older games on newer hardware. This kind of trend can also be found elsewhere in the industry, as Microsoft’s Xbox Series X is designed with backwards compatibility, being able to run games dating back to the original Xbox, allowing gamers the freedom to play and experience hundreds of older games. which have never been updated.
VIDEO OF THE DAY

In addition to companies re-releasing older games, there are also many stores focused on reselling retro games, with many retro gaming classics making a comeback through resale. These stores provide a convenient physical way to browse and discover older titles. They also allow for instant gratification, as buying retro games from websites can sometimes take time due to auctions and shipping. These stores typically sell games from most older game systems, ranging from the NES to the PlayStation 2. The downside to many stores is that in order to compete with online auction websites, where much of the retro game market is centered, prices may be inflated to match online prices. In addition to retro retail stores, auctions take advantage of the retro video game market. In an article published by Business Interna copy of Super Mario 64 sold for $1.5 million at auction. Not even a month later, another copy of the game was sold for $2 million.
Retro games are being seen as an investment by speculators
So the question remains: why are retro games so expensive? Part of the answer is that people have started to think of them as investments. The two aforementioned copies of Super Mario 64 were not sold in the traditional way, but rather sold in the form of shares, which made it easier for people to come in and invest. Similar to Antstream Arcade Subscription, which makes retro arcade games more accessible by providing them as a service for a monthly subscription, this method of selling classic games offers a simple, modern solution for people to get into. the market, giving those who have invested the opportunity to walk away with massive gains, making it a lucrative investment. At a traditional auction, copies of the game have been selling for the $100,000 range for the past few years, and now, due to the change in how it’s sold, it may be worth much more.
After visiting one of these retro game stores, Evan Nixon expressed their concerns on Twitter after spotting a used copy of The Simpsons: Hit & Run for the Nintendo GameCube. This game was released in 2003 and is only available on early 2000s hardware, and was priced at $119.95. These prices are higher than some of the online listings because on Amazon the game could be purchased for $89.99. For comparison, some modern AAA video games, like the recent Demon’s Souls remake for the PlayStation 5, only recently made the jump to $69.99, so paying way over that for a 19 year old game is a big ask for those just looking to play it rather than see it as an investment. Nixon also mentions in the tweet that they spotted a copy of Crazy 2002 which was priced around $30, which seems unreasonable given that the Madden franchise has a new installment every year, which makes it seem like there should generally be lower demand for older editions of the franchise.
Retro gaming and console hardware is continually aging
Another reason retro games are getting more expensive is that there’s a greater demand for them as older units start to age and break down, making surviving items more valuable. This makes devices like the Analogue Pocket, a modern retro handheld more appealing to the masses because they no longer need to acquire and maintain older console hardware, but can play physical games on a newer device. In some cases, game labels are torn and discolored, making them harder to sell due to poor quality, and many retro games are missing boxes. While these types of offers are usually much cheaper, it also serves to increase the price of rarer full copies of games, especially those without major damage. It can be quite difficult to find used complete copies of Game Boy Advance titles, for example, which are almost always missing their original packaging, making those with their original outer boxes much more expensive to acquire.

With the expansion of the gaming industry, as well as the rise of methods such as split investing and auctions, retro subscription services, companies carrying older games, retro handheld devices and emulators , retro games have increased in terms of visibility. Sometimes this has led to a steep drop in the price of an original boxed copy of a game, particularly if the primary reason for owning it was to play it (rather than treating it as an investment), but it has also increased awareness of gaming history with newer generations, and as older gamers become wealthier, they also have a greater ability to pay for some of the titles they remember from their youth.
retro games continue to influence and inspire modern series, especially in the indie scene, with many indie games developed in retro styles, giving them an older feel but with current control schemes and gameplay mechanics. As game preservation becomes a broader and more nuanced topic, and organizations like the Video Game History Foundation strive to preserve digital game history for future generations, the value of retro gaming will no doubt doubt that continue to increase. One can only hope that more ports and re-releases will become the norm, as it might not be much longer before the average person can afford to try out older games they might be interested in. .

If you’re one of the gamers who found Sony’s pair of online video game subscription setups confusing, this might be the news you’ve been waiting for. A newly revamped PlayStation Plus is on the way, merging the features of the current PlayStation Plus and PS Now services into one, while also bringing a ton of new gameplay benefits aimed at giving PlayStation gamers a more robust online service to rival the Microsoft’s Xbox Live. .
Sony Interactive President Jim Ryan unveiled the new PlayStation Plus in a blog post outlining the new service with a three-tier pricing plan that grants increased levels of access to content and features at each stage. The current PS Now game streaming service is leaving, with existing members being rolled into the top tier of the new PlayStation Plus plan. The new service is expected to go live from June in Asia, followed by rollouts in North America and around the world shortly thereafter.
Three levels can be a lot to figure out, so what do you get with each – and how much do they cost?
Starting at the base tier, there’s PlayStation Plus Essential – the cheapest plan that retains “the same benefits PlayStation Plus members enjoy today,” according to Sony. The Essential plan, well, essentially matches the current PlayStation Plus service in just about every way, and that includes the price: it will remain at PlayStation Plus’ current monthly cost of $9.99 per month.
Stepping up to the mid-tier gives players access to PlayStation Plus Extra, which bundles everything from the basic PlayStation Plus Essential plan to a bundle that also adds “a catalog of up to 400 of the most enjoyable PS4 and PS5 games – including including blockbuster hits from our PlayStation Studios catalog and our third-party partners,” says Sony. The Extra plan will also allow subscribers to download game titles for offline play, and it will cost $14.99 per month.
To top it all off, the PlayStation Plus Premium plan, a $17.99 per month service that unlocks a significant boost in additional features, including pay-per-view game streaming and a wider variety of game titles that dips more deep in the retro PlayStation library.
In addition to everything offered in the lower two tiers, the Premium plan will add “up to 340 additional games”, with PS3 titles available via cloud streaming and a “catalogue of beloved classic games available in the streaming and download options of the original PlayStation, PS2 and PSP Generations. Coupled with the over 400 games of the next lower tier, the Premium plan unlocks over 700 game titles in all.
For fans who miss some of the PS3’s biggest names, it’s still too early to tell if Sony will make PS3 classics like Metal Gear Solid 4: Weapons of the Patriots available as downloadable games rather than streaming-only titles. Big-name games are definitely part of Sony’s overall subscription strategy, but unlike Xbox Livesubscribers will not find the latest AAA releases there.
As before, Sony’s approach to all-new PlayStation-only exclusives is to give them plenty of room as standalone purchases through their launch windows, before adding them to the new service’s lineup of playable titles via subscription. . A nice feature of the Premium plan is the ability to try new games without purchasing them – for a limited time, of course. “Time-limited game trials will also be offered in this tier, so customers can try out certain games before purchasing,” Sony explains.
In terms of access to classic games, Sony’s subscription approach seems somewhat comparable to Microsoft’s Xbox Game Pass Ultimate plan. Both services promise access to a wide range of older games on demand, although gamers will need to upgrade to one of Sony’s higher-end tiers to enjoy game streaming. Sony’s philosophy of moving new exclusive PlayStation games away from a subscription model is the real difference: Xbox Game Pass lets gamers dive into new Xbox Studios games the day they’re released, while Sony subscribers will still have to buy upcoming exclusives like God of War Ragnarök separately if they want day one access.
Judging by Sony’s launch lineup of games, the wait to play at least the newest and best doesn’t seem to be too long. Relatively recent PS5 hits were among those Ryan names as part of the new PlayStation Plus launch lineup. In the top two levels, “we plan to include titles such as Death Stranding, God of the war, Marvel’s Spiderman, Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales, Mortal Kombat 11and Return“, wrote Ryan, promising that the subscription library will be “regularly updated”.
In January, DrinkBox Studios released a dungeon-crawling action-RPG nobody saves the world to mostly positive reviews, with many reviewers praising its unique shape-shifting gameplay mechanics and witty writing. nobody saves the world launched as an Xbox console-exclusive game and as a day-one Xbox Game Pass title, which definitely limited its potential audience. Luckily for PlayStation gamers, they may soon have the chance to experience the game for themselves.
GAMER VIDEO OF THE DAY
An official announcement about a potential nobody saves the world The PlayStation port was not made, but the game was found on the PlayStation Store database. According to the PlayStation Game Size Twitter account, the PS5 version of nobody saves the world was discovered and comes in at 812 MB. A potential PS4 version of the game has not been mentioned, but since nobody saves the world has a native Xbox One release, you’d think it would come to both PS4 and PS5 if it did indeed jump to PlayStation.
RELATED: Nobody Saves the World Review
Since nobody saves the world was self-published by DrinkBox Studios and is not a first-party Xbox game, no one really expected it to remain exclusive to Xbox consoles forever. But if the game is coming to PlayStation relatively soon, as it seems to suggest, some might be surprised to see it lose its Xbox console-exclusive status so soon.
However, this wouldn’t be the first time that a third-party Xbox console-exclusive game had come to PlayStation in the same year. As some remember, The way launched in 2021 as an Xbox console-exclusive game, but it eventually made its way to PlayStation 5.
There were also times when the roles were reversed. In the future, games exclusive to the PlayStation console Death Loop and Ghostwire: Tokyo will almost certainly be coming to Xbox as day one Xbox Game Pass games. While they were launched exclusively on the PS5 console, Microsoft owns Death Loop and Ghostwire: Tokyo publisher Bethesda, so the titles will likely come to Xbox once their PlayStation exclusivity windows end.
As it concerns nobody saves the world go, this is definitely something worth checking out. Although it is known to suffer from a few unfortunate technical issues, nobody saves the world offers fun online co-op, an entertaining story, and plenty of challenging dungeons to conquer. It might not quite live up to the lofty expectations set by some of DrinkBox Studios’ previous games, but it would still be a solid addition to the PlayStation lineup if it does make its way to Sony’s consoles. .
nobody saves the world is available now for PC, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X with PlayStation versions reportedly in development.

Hulu is one of the most popular TV, movie and series streaming services available thanks to a wide selection of channels and its affordable subscription price.
Hulu is available on many platforms, devices, and even consoles. Xbox consoles (including the Xbox 360) are among those with a dedicated Hulu app.
However, many Hulu app users on Xbox are facing login related issues in recent days (1, 23, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9).
Specifically, the Hulu Xbox app is experiencing an “account disconnected” issue where the service requests login credentials each time it is opened (1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 7).
Hulu Xbox app users are logged out every time they open it
According to multiple reports, many Hulu users on Xbox are logged out every time they close and reopen the app.
Does anyone else have the problem where hulu disconnects every time you close it? Started last week where I have to log in every time I open it. I had to resort to TV or PS4 now. I prefer the xbox. But hulu is unusable at the moment due to constant disconnection. Please fix! Source
The problem reportedly started a few days ago, and even a full uninstall and reinstall of the Hulu app fails to fix it.
Hulu on Xbox One
I use the Hulu app on the Xbox One X and until a few days ago it worked normally for me, but now I have to log in every time I open the app. Why does it keep disconnecting me? I am the only person using this account.
Device: Xbox One X
Service: Hulu with ads
Action taken: Deleted/disconnected this device from my account, cleared my Xbox One X cache, uninstalled and reinstalled the app. Source
The Hulu team is already aware of the problem
The Hulu support team is already aware of the problem that many users are facing on the dedicated Xbox app. Currently, the company is working on it, but there is no estimated arrival date for a fix yet.
Hi! We are aware that this behavior occurs on some devices. We appreciate your patience! Proven Microsoft leaker, Aggiornamenti Lumia, recently job on their Twitter account, an app icon (see top image) for a planned official Xbox app which is currently called Project Unknown.
No other information is provided although the account indicates that the mysterious Xbox project is not really a secret.
Going by the fact that the app icon is literally just the Windows 11 Photos app icon with the Xbox logo on it, it’s likely that this upcoming app could be a Photos app for Xbox consoles. . Conversely, it could also be an application for Windows devices to view and edit images and videos recorded on Xbox consoles through the built-in game capture feature on Xbox One and Xbox families of consoles Series X.
Another possibility is that it could be some sort of Xbox-themed wallpaper or screensaver app for smart TVs that uses high-res images from Xbox video games. as an illustration. Microsoft has already dipped its toes into this kind of functionality recently with smart TVs.
Of course, it’s also possible that this app icon itself is just a placeholder and the final icon is very different to better reflect the nature of the final app. This Xbox app might even be hooked up to the upcoming mysterious Xbox hardware we talked about last week.

Microsoft begins to focus on cloud gaming: Kim Swift, developer of Portal and Left 4 Dead, joins the Xbox cloud gaming platform team as senior director and builds a team focused on new cloud experiences. Microsoft Cloud Gaming Director Kim Swift announced during a presentation at the Game Developers Conference (courtesy of VGC) that the new cloud gaming organization aims to “cooperate with world-class game development teams to develop cloud gaming for an unparalleled experience”. In a video posted to YouTube last week, Microsoft outlined plans to collaborate with external studios to develop cloud games.
Credit @ Xbox
Swift will lead Xbox innovation in cloud gaming development, which will be another push into the cloud computing market for Microsoft. In the video, Kim Swift explained that the goal is to partner with development studios to develop cloud games for the Xbox ecosystem; games that can bring experiences that were previously not possible without the use of the cloud. Kim Swift noted that the advantages of creating cloud games are the ability to create a game once and not to create multiple versions for different platforms, reduce the need for downloads, implement cloud AI (something similar to what Xbox is actively experimenting with in the area of quality control, toxicity filters, procedural gameplay, etc.) and much more.
In an introductory video for Microsoft game developers posted on YouTube, Swift explained that the division’s mandate is to provide players with an unparalleled experience only available through the cloud. In the video presentation, Kim Swift noted that the goal of Xbox Game Studios Publishing’s cloud publishing division is to find and help develop games with high engagement, widespread appeal and impact, as well as potential for community development and support.
Microsoft’s cloud gaming division will be managed by Kim Swift, who previously worked as a designer and artist at Valve and was director of game design at Stadia before Google stopped developing first-party games. Last week, Microsoft launched two new initiatives aimed at giving more developers access to cloud-based features when building games. In addition to the launch of Asobo Studios Microsoft Flight Simulator on Xbox Game Pass, Microsoft is rolling out a number of new APIs for game developers working on games that use cloud computing to offload storage and processing to external servers. Microsoft said Microsoft would also license the use of original Xbox One consoles, allowing them to play games like Flight Simulator that previously wouldn’t have been available without cloud streaming.

Microsoft has now found a way to make Xbox cloud gaming available to iPhone and iPad users through a web browser, and it says it remains committed to bringing certain games like Minecraft to iOS. Its Xbox cloud gaming service allows gamers to stream Xbox games directly to their smartphones, although there are currently no games designed specifically for cloud gaming. Games on Xbox Cloud Gaming are typically implemented through a process called “boost and transfer”, in which cloud gaming teams release development games to a network of Microsoft Azure servers and verify compatibility with application games. of cloud gaming.
As for what the cloud actually means, reports indicate that players will be able to access the unannounced title through any device – let’s assume that means xCloud-enabled devices (mobile phones, PCs, Xbox consoles, and TVs). So the “new cloud experiences” that Swift has been tasked with creating for Microsoft could refer to games that take advantage of the platforms’ multi-server capabilities, which potentially means faster load times and better performance. graphics. As IGN points out, this description definitely sounds like a new initiative to develop games that can only be run using the cloud, rather than improving games that run on the cloud system and other platforms. forms. In early 2021, Video Games Chronicle reported that Xbox was partnering with Sony in a joint cloud initiative, possibly using its Azure platform. The cloud has long been the backbone of Xbox’s business through its Azure platform, and in early 2021 Xbox moved its xCloud gaming project from technical beta to public use for gamers. Smartphone games are still scorned by many, and in some cases with good reason. Whether it’s a game made natively on Android or iOS or a watered-down port of an established entry, experiences on smartphones simply don’t compare to games on PC or home consoles. But it would be a shame to waste all that glorious processing power, wouldn’t it? The GameSir X2 allows you to tap into your android phonethe natural playing abilities of, and this review will reveal the kind of nostalgic magic it is capable of.
Specifications: — Dimensions: 4.45 inches L x 7.8 inches W x 1.81 inches H — Weight: 11.6 ounces — Input: USB-C — Compatibility: Many Android phones under 6.57 inches in length
the GameSir X2 Controller is a controller designed to play on an Android device. It’s not a terribly new concept, as there are plenty of Bluetooth-enabled devices that can sync with smartphones, including many PS5s and Xbox controllers. What sets GameSir X2 apart is that it connects directly to a phone’s USB-C slot. What does this mean for games? Low latency rates, which is great if you plan to use cloud gaming apps like Stadia and Xbox Cloud Gaming. Just note that to use the GameSirX2, your device must be updated to Android 9.0 or later and less than 6.57 inches in length.
If you’ve played on a Nintendo Switch, GameSir will feel all too familiar. Jaime Carrillo/Futurism
The back of the device has two comfortable anti-slip pads for long gaming sessions. Sliding a phone into the GameSir X2 feels weird at first as there is a thin gap between the phone and where it rests. It was an intentional design choice, as high-end phones sometimes get hot. This small gap allows for maximum airflow so your mobile gaming rig won’t become uncomfortable or worse, crash any game you’re currently playing. Since some high-end games can be demanding on phone battery life, there’s a USB-C charging port right under the D-Pad that’ll let you power up while gaming. Learn more about how we test play equipment.
GameSir X2 Mobile Gamepad: Is It Worth It?
Smartphones are getting more powerful every year, with super-fast processing speeds and bright, flashy OLED displays. But touching a screen instead of shuffling buttons just doesn’t work properly. And that prospect is made even worse when there’s an improvised on-screen gamepad that’s perhaps the worst way to control a game. GameSir X2 controller appeals because it lets you tap into a familiar gaming experience – at least, in theory.
For the purpose of this review I will be using the new flashy Xiaomi 12 Pro, which is one of the newest premium phones in the market. In its flashy innards lies a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1, a chipset known for its speed and efficiency. Seconds before deciding to slide the phone into the controller, I touched the USB-C connection and immediately thought I had broken the device. The connector dips down slightly if you press on it. Luckily, this is just a design choice, as it allows the phone to slide into the device a bit easier. Swiping an Android phone is quite intuitive. There’s enough space for you to slip your phone in with thinner silicone cases, including the Xiaomi 12 Pro.
I decided to try it on one of my favorite mobile ports, “Castlevania: Symphony of the Night.” The game was originally released on PSX in 1997, but is still very playable in 2022, and ranks among the best “Metroidvanias”. If this game doesn’t play well, no other game will. The GameSir X2’s buttons have a very clicky quality, which I rather appreciate. There were no latency issues right off the bat.
Have you ever played a phone with a gamepad via Bluetooth? There are attachments that lock onto a gamepad that will allow you to dock your phone right above it. In theory, this should provide a pretty stellar gaming session, but due to the very high weight, even sturdy wrists will work overtime. GameSir X2 take the popular nintendo switch approach, laying the phone flat, so that the weight is evenly distributed. Depending on your phone, chances are it weighs pretty close to a Switch. If you close your eyes, you might even think someone put a light switch in your hands. Admittedly, the GameSir X2 is a little easier to handle thanks to the padded control grips on the back. I spent a lazy Saturday playing “MOTHER 3” and “Mega Man X” and didn’t feel any tension.
Dragging the phone in and out of the device is also quite simple. When I travel from room to room, I slide the phone out of the GameSir X2 and store the controller with the phone in its carrying case.
The Google Play Store is full of emulators for classic consoles up to the Nintendo Entertainment System. After collecting a handful of my favorite titles, I installed Launch box, a nice backend that organizes games by platform. Sure, you could do it without the GameSir X2, but have you ever tried to play “Super Mario World” using touch controls? That’s enough to make anyone give up games forever and take up an alternative hobby like embroidery or basket weaving.
The GameSir works with modern titles, whether they are more demanding like “Call of Duty Mobile” or throwbacks like “Stardew Valley”. But there’s no point in letting that responsive, clicky D-Pad go to waste. The fantastic thing is that GameSir X2 didn’t require any out-of-the-gate button mapping on any console emulator I’ve used. When performing “We Love Katamari”, each joystick read like I was using an actual DualShock gamepad. I was rolling all the earthly waste material, and I was doing it in a way that was never intended. Going from SNES classics like “Chrono Trigger” to hidden N64 gems like “Mischief Makers” is one of the most fruitful ways to spend an afternoon. That said, whenever you walk around with emulators and roms, consider the murky legal ramifications. In general, the general rule to follow is to only play games of which you own physical copies. But even then, use your best judgment.
Play your way
By using the Gamesir appyou can program different game profiles for supported games, including popular titles such as “Fortnite”, “Minecraft”, NBA2K20″, “Rayman” and “League of Legends: Wild Rift”. update your GameSir X2 firmware to keep it optimized as much as possible. When the gamepad was first released, it got a lot of criticism from fans who couldn’t remap the buttons. Not only can you remap the buttons, but you can choose between “Switch” or “Xbox” layout when it comes to face button placement. There’s a USB-C charging port right under the D-Pad that lets you charge while playing. It’s a welcome addition, especially since the device requires some power from your phone to operate.
Final Thoughts on GameSir X2 Controller for Android
Android’s gaming capabilities are getting stronger and stronger, which makes using it as a dedicated handheld console a more appealing prospect. Of course, a console is only as good as its controller. If you are going to play on an Android phone, I highly recommend the GameSir X2 Android Gamepad. The device allows for comfortable mobile gaming over long periods of time, provided your phone’s battery life can support it. While native Android games play here, the real magic is in using this device as a portable retro arcade, as long as you use your best judgment when buying retro titles.

A new Cyberpunk 2077 mod that was shared online a few days ago introduces support for DualSense adaptive triggers on PC.
The DualSense Adaptive Trigger Effects mod offers custom trigger settings for over 40 weapon types as well as vehicles. The mod, however, is not perfect, as it can disable the functionality of other controller emulation tools like DS4Windows. Additionally, adaptive triggers for weapons that fire in bursts may not work properly.
Fallout New Vegas Building Bridges Mod introduces asynchronous multiplayer in the vein of Elden Ring
Remarks 1. Adaptive triggers for vehicles vibrate more as RPM increases. 2. If controller vibration isn’t working for you, try disabling all of your controller emulation tools, and even the tool that’s enabled through Steam Big Picture. After that, run DualSenseX and select the emulated Xbox 360 controller.
Questions 1. Unfortunately, adaptive triggers for weapons that fire in bursts may not work properly. I don’t know how to fix it yet.

the steam bridge is a new portable gaming PC designed for downloading and playing games from the online Steam game store. Even with nearly 1,000 Steam games verified for the Steam Deck, one of the first questions players asked was: How can I get non-Steam games there?
The Steam Deck was built by Steam’s parent company, Valve, and its SteamOS operating system lets you buy and play games from the extensive Steam library. But because it’s a PC at heart (even if it doesn’t run Windows), PC gamers expect and insist on access to games from many sources.

Steam Deck Mostly Nails Laptop Games

It’s possible to play at least some of the games you’ve purchased from the Epic Game Store, GOG, and other sources, as well as some cloud-based streaming games. Cloud gaming services deliver content to you in real time from remote servers. This means you don’t need any particularly powerful hardware, just a strong internet connection, to play.

We previously described how to get Epic Game Store games are working on the Steam Deck (although it’s still not Epic’s biggest game, Fortnite), and cloud services like Nvidia GeForce Now and Google Stadia have been shown to work in limited cases, usually depending on controller limitations.
Forza 5, via Xbox Cloud Gaming, on the Steam Deck.
Dan Ackerman/CNET
Microsoft’s Xbox Game Pass is one of the services gamers most want to see on the Steam Deck, as it provides a huge library of games under one subscription. The standard Game Pass app doesn’t work (yet), as it’s completely integrated into the Windows operating system. But the cloud streaming version of Game Pass, called Xbox Cloud Gamingworks now, thanks to a backend work from Microsoft.
The cloud version of Game Pass works through a web browser and requires switching to the Steam Deck desktop view to install. Like almost everything about the Steam Deck, some level of tinkering is required. That’s part of why the system appeals to PC gamers, who often find troubleshooting and optimizing PC games part of the platform’s appeal.

Microsoft posted its initial instructions on Reddit, and by following them, I was able to play a wide variety of Game Pass games, including recent games like Forza 5, Tunic, and Shredders (a new snowboarding game). Cloud gaming is very network dependent, but I had a mostly lag-free experience.
You will need to install Microsoft Edge browser from Linux desktop mode.
Dan Ackerman/CNET
Why would you run a cloud-based game on a device like the Steam Deck with powerful PC graphics capabilities? Saving internal storage space is the most obvious reason, along with the ability to play the same game on multiple platforms, such as Xbox, PC, or iPhone and iPad using Game Pass cloud gaming . Here are the basic steps, and more detailed instructions are here on Reddit.
1. Access the desktop mode of the Steam Deck.
2. Use the built-in Discover app to find and install Microsoft Edge beta.
3. Add the Edge browser to Steam by right-clicking its launch icon and selecting Add to steam.
Then it gets a bit complex.
4. Launch the Konsole app in SteamOS (Apps > System > Console) and add this command: flatpak –user override –filesystem=/run/udev:ro com.microsoft.Edge
5. Open Steam (still in desktop mode), find Microsoft Edge beta in your Steam games list.
6. Right click on it and select: Properties > Launch Options. In this launch options field, add this text to the end of the string already there: –window-size=1024,640 –force-device-scale-factor=1.25 –device-scale-factor=1.25 –kiosk “https://www.xbox.com/play”
This takes you to the Game Pass cloud gaming page and forces the browser into fullscreen mode when you launch it through Steam.
After that, exit desktop mode and reboot into the SteamOS interface. In your library, under Non-Steam apps, you’ll see the Microsoft Edge beta. Launch it and you are in the Game Pass cloud gaming menu and can directly access the games.
There are other tweaks you can make for a cleaner experience, like renaming the shortcut (“Game Pass” vs. Microsoft Edge, for example), or adding a custom thumbnail. The Reddit post was enough to get me started, but Microsoft has more detailed instructions here.
It takes a bit of time to set up, but having access to a large library of streaming games is worth it. Playing games natively installed on the Steam Deck will still provide the best overall experience, but looping in games from Epic, GOG, Game Pass, and other platforms reinforces the idea that the Steam Deck is more of a PC than a standalone gaming gadget like the Nintendo. Some fans may want to wait for a deep discount before buying the new collection of TMNT retro games, but that could be a mistake.
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Retro gaming fans and enthusiasts received a surprise gift from Konami this week. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Cowabunga Collection will feature 13 TMNT games from the franchise’s late 80s to early 90s. Players can expect a surprisingly comprehensive collection that spans classic arcade games and 8-bit, 16-bit, and handheld consoles from Nintendo and Sega.
The game’s first trailer had many fans excited for Konami’s announcement instead of being angry at one for the first time in a while. While some were eager to squeeze the cash into the publisher’s hands, others weren’t sold on the Cowabunga collectionStarting MSRP of $40. While it’s understandable to be conditioned to expect a discount from generous Steam sales, TMNT games have an unfortunate history of being the ones to buy ASAP.

Pre-ordering games is usually a wasteful endeavor at this point. Beyond physical copies of most games being plentiful and digital distribution increasing accessibility, there is another reason to avoid the practice. The feeling expressed by Kotaku’s Luke Plunkett seven years ago remains as true today as it was then: pre-ordering drives companies to ship lackluster products. games like Cyberpunk 2077 and Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy are recent examples where players should have waited for games to be updated to an acceptable state, but they are far from the only ones.
Retro games are usually safe to pre-order, but there’s another way The Cowabunga Collection is an exception to the rule. TMNT the games don’t have a good track record when it comes to availability. While licensed games being pulled from digital storefronts after deals expire is something gamers have grown accustomed to, two TMNT games have had incredibly short lifespans on digital platforms.
Arcade versions of the classic TMNT beat them, turtles in timeis a centerpiece in The Cowabunga Collection. Its first re-release was an HD remake for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, Turtles in time re-shelled. It was removed from both consoles’ digital storefronts less than two years after its release in 2009, when the license expired. The game has not been re-released since it was written off, possibly because the TMNT license has bounced between several publishers over the years.
There is an even more glaring example of turtles game being written off that Rescaled. Bayonet developer, Platinum Games’ TMNT Game, Mutants in Manhattan, was released in May 2016 on Xbox One, Xbox 360, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3 and PC. It was removed from each of these platforms’ digital storefronts in January 2017, meaning the game was available digitally for less than 8 months. Physical copies were still available in stores, a plus for fans looking for a copy of Mutants in Manhattan had finished Rescaledwhich never received a physical release.
Despite Platinum’s pedigree and the influence of the top IDW comic series on gaming, Mutants in Manhattan was more Babylon Falls than To deny: automata with regard to quality. While fans didn’t miss a brawler at the level of Streets of rage 4 if they didn’t take a copy of Mutants in Manhattan, it’s still a disappointment when a game becomes rare so soon after its release. Finalists, collectors, game curators, and the curious should hope they can find a reasonably priced physical copy when licensing agreement expirations take games offline.

There are good reasons to be wary of pre-ordering even a compilation of retro games. Although unlikely, the build may suffer from the same emulation issues as The recent Nintendo 64 ports of Nintendo Switch Online. Even if they avoid paying in advance, TMNT fans shouldn’t procrastinate when it comes to picking up a copy of The Cowabunga Collection. The amount of concentrated nostalgia in this package should make it a solid seller with turtles older fans.
If gamers miss a retail copy and the game is delisted, they’ll have to turn to expensive options like the aftermarket or Arcade 1Up cabinets for their retro. turtles to fix. Limited Run Games might offer an extra chance to get a physical copy, but that comes with its own pitfalls, including the temptation of one of their limited collectible editions. Anyone who wants The Cowabunga Collection should make sure to get one as soon as possible r risk running out completely.

Everyone who loves video games wanted to share a cool moment or a hilarious glitch they saw with their friends. With both PlayStation 5 and Xbox series consoles, it’s never been easier.
Much like the PS4 and Xbox One, both consoles come with buttons on their respective controllers dedicated entirely to capturing screenshots and clips. However, you had to upload those screenshots to Twitter, OneDrive, or a USB device in order to get them off the consoles and onto your phone, where it’s easier to share them. By the grace of the universe, that is no longer the case.
here’s how automatically beam captures from any of these game consoles to your mobile device.
How to send PS5 captures to your phone
This is where the live captures on the PlayStation app. Credit: Screenshot: PlayStation / Alex Perry
The PS5 and Xbox Series X/S are able to connect to special mobile apps that you can find on your device’s app store, which is key to making all that capture magic happen. To get screenshots of your PS5 on your phone without posting them on Twitter first, download the PlayStation app on iOS or Android. You’ll also want to make sure your PS5’s system software is up to date.
Once you’re signed in to your PlayStation Network account on the PS5 and in the mobile app, open it up and click on the tab along the bottom row that shows six squares placed behind a silhouette of the PlayStation controller to access to your game library. Then, at the top of the screen, switch from “Games” to “Captures”. You should get a prompt to allow automatic capture uploads from the console to the app. Say yes, otherwise you will just be wasting a lot of time reading this article.
And that’s all! Going forward, any screenshot or clip (less than three minutes long) that you capture using the DualSense’s dedicated share button (located to the left of the touchpad) will automatically appear in this section of the mobile app, where it will stay for 14 days. You can save and share them from the application as you see fit.
Nothing easier.

Captures galore. Credit: Screenshot: Xbox / Alex Perry
For Xbox users, the process of getting clips from your console to your phone is pretty much exactly the same as on PS5. The only difference is that you actually have to do a little less work. We love to hear it.
Download the Xbox app and sign in to your Xbox account. Obviously, make sure you’re signed in to the Xbox as well. By default, all captures taken with the share button (located to the left of the Xbox controller’s home button) are uploaded to the “Xbox Network”, a fancy name for a cloud server accessible from the Xbox app. To do this, open the app and navigate to the bottom row tab marked with three vertical lines (with the rightmost line pressed against the other two).
Your captures live here. To test it, take an in-game screenshot, wait about 30 seconds, then open the app to see if it’s there. If that doesn’t work, you may need to enable automatic downloads. It should be enabled by default, but hey, weird things happen sometimes. To do this, follow these simple steps:
Press the Xbox home button on the controller
Go to “Profile and system”
Go to settings”
Go to “Preferences”
Go to “Capture and Share”
Enable “Download automatically”
If this always isn’t working for some reason, you can manually upload any screenshot to the Xbox network by pressing the button to the left of the home button, selecting the individual screenshot or video you want, then by selecting “Download”. Give it some time and it should appear in the Xbox app.
If you love sharing your gaming moments with your friends, using auto capture uploads on either console will make your life easier.
It’s not a good idea to claim that Microsoft has been dominating the gaming subscription market lately, with subscribers steadily growing. It offers one of the best gaming subscription services in the world. Xbox Game Pass provides a rich library of rotating catalogs of titles from a wide variety of publishers. The more than 100 titles at once make the subscription advantageous and the games more accessible.
Microsoft has mainly conquered the Western market; and was a resounding success. Xbox Game Pass has won over many gamers with its many features and the accessibility it offers to titles. It’s no surprise that the numbers are growing more than any other subscription service. Although words alone have no value, the statistics speak for themselves.
It’s still a small little slice of the overall game. But Microsoft has a huge lead in the “Netflix for games” race. And that’s before he took over Activision. (Slide by @PiersHR ) pic.twitter.com/5wdSCESkNU
Microsoft has largely eclipsed all other gaming subscription services. The chart is based on Q4 2021 consumer spending and shows the performance of different subscription services. Xbox Game Pass held 60% consumer spending market share, while Apple Arcade took second place, reaching only 9%. Other services remained even below the 9% threshold.
Microsoft is expected to dominate even more in the future in this new decade. Xbox Game Pass has collected more than 25 million subscribers in January 2022 and will only grow further. 25 million subscribers make up a massive chunk of the company’s monthly revenue. However, the most admirable acclaim here is the growth they have exhibited, up from 18 million just a year ago.
Microsoft started this year with a bang by announcing the Acquisition of Activision Blizzard for $68.7 billion. The company has strengthened its presence in the internal catalog of high-quality titles. This acquisition is beneficial for Microsoft in improving its list of games. Microsoft Gaming CEO Phil Spencer said in the announcement of the acquisition, “At closing, we’ll be offering as many Activision Blizzard games as possible in Xbox Game Pass and PC Game Pass, both new titles and games from Activision Blizzard’s incredible catalog.” So Xbox Game Pass subscribers can also expect to add Activision Blizzard games to their library.
kill the arrow has been hailed as one of the best roguelike deck-building games since its release, and for good reason, as the game is garnering both fan adoration and critical acclaim, with an “overwhelmingly positive” review rating. ” on Steam. So it’s not particularly strange that there is also a budding modding community.
While kill the arrow There’s no shortage of fun and inventive mods that revamp the whole game from the ground up, one mod seems to have had a lot more success than most. Kill Arrow: Fall has been available as a Steam Workshop upgrade for the base game for a while now, but the developers have now taken the project even further.

Having made its way onto many lists of the best mods for kill the arrow, Fall is now also available as a standalone free download on Steam for all owners of kill the arrow. Described as a “full expansion” for the game, Fall adds a wide variety of awesome features, including an alternate campaign mode complete with seven all-new characters with their own maps, potions, relic items, and more. These characters are actually the enemy bosses from the base game, who now have to fight their way through the spire to defend it against the heroes.
Fall also introduces a new hero character into the mix: the Hermit. An undead sniper archetype, the Hermit comes with its own new mechanic that relies heavily on card placement in the player’s hand, making it a more advanced choice designed for veteran players. The introduction of the Hermit also means that players will have to find new strategies to defeat the Corrupted Heart in kill the arrowgiving even the classic campaign mode a fresh coat of paint.
While many other contemporary mod releases stick out like sore thumbs, like the recent Extreme Violence Mod for The Sims 4, Fall looks like a legit expansion pack produced by the game’s original developers. Players worried about standout features or content will be pleased with what’s on offer here, as the experience seamlessly integrates with the core content, and there don’t seem to be any major bugs to worry about.
While there are other games kill the arrow fans should give it a try, they now also have a major new excuse to come back to it. Fall is available for free download on Steam, and it’s almost twice the size of the base game. The developer, Table 9 Games, has already announced that there will be more content via future updates, so the mod will likely have a fairly long lifespan as well.
kill the arrow is available now on PC, macOS, Nintendo Switch, PS4, Xbox One, iOS and Android devices, with the Downfall mod available via Steam.

Arcade games always hold a special place in my heart. I love going to Dave and Buster to play some of these new arcade games and spend hours on them. When I play this game, I often think to myself, “How cool would it be to have one of these at home?” And now thanks to the power of technology, you can have some of those arcade games on your consoles. Atari launches storm 4000 on the Nintendo Switch, but should you play it at home or just leave this game at an arcade store? Let’s find out.
Developed by: Jeff Minter & Llamasoft Published by: Atari Released: March 22, 2022 (Atari VCS, PC, Playstation, Switch, Xbox)
storm 4000 is a space shooter where you control a claw-like ship inside the prisms and your objective is to destroy everything and anything that comes your way. This kind of gameplay reminded me a lot of Galaga if Galaga was in 3D. The game in Storm 4000 is quite simple; you’ll spend all your time shooting objects, collecting power-ups, and trying to beat your own score. The shooting felt very responsive and the power-ups were very helpful, but that was all dragged down by how busy the screen gets with every explosion and every kill. I had a really hard time trying to keep up with everything that was happening on my screen. If you’re playing this game in handheld mode, all I can say is, “good luck.”
arcade revival
Storm 4000 comes with two Survival mode and Pure mode and aside from the number of lives you start with, these game modes are very similar. Not only do the modes feel similar, but the ‘levels’ you clear in your playthroughs feel equally similar. In one of my first playthroughs, I didn’t even know I was progressing levels until I saw that on the bottom left of my screen. Now a game like this would benefit from an online scoreboard to challenge your friends or people around the world who might be playing the same game; after all arcade machines all had dashboards but Storm 4000 does not have this feature. For the kind of game Storm 4000 is, an online dashboard feels almost essential and I hope the developers add that in future updates.
Heavy in wedges, light in content
With the number of games coming out right now, I can’t see myself going back to Storm 4000. This kind of arcade game in my opinion works better in an Arcade store than it does on the Nintendo Switch. The gameplay that is here is very good, but the lack of content makes me not want to go back to this game. I get that arcade games tend to be light on content, but when a game is priced $20, I expected a little more Storm 4000. If you’re a fan of old school arcade games, you’ll have fun with this, but don’t expect to be blown away by this retro game.

Fans looking to try out Judgment, Sega’s Yakuza franchise, can experience Lost Judgment for free this weekend on Xbox Live Gold.
One of the recent franchises to have exploded in popularity is that of Sega Yakuza. More than 15 years after its initial launch, Sega Yakuza the series eventually found mainstream success outside of Japan and became one of the publisher’s biggest franchises, including its spin-off series Judgementand this is next, judgment lost. Xbox fans looking to try Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio’s latest game are in luck, because judgment lost will be free for a limited time for Xbox Live Gold subscribers.
GAMER VIDEO OF THE DAY
judgment lost was released in September 2021 and once again follows private detective Takayuki Yagami and his ex-yakuza sidekick Masaharu Kaito as they attempt to solve a high school bullying-related sexual assault case in Kamurocho and Yokohama. The game takes fans back to the world introduced in the original game while incorporating the open world location of Yokohama introduced in Yakuza: like a dragonas well as a plethora of new mini-games.

judgment lost features a revamped action-based combat system from the original game as well as new combat stances for Yagami to use. Like its predecessor, the game also features a full English dub in addition to Japanese audio with English subtitles.
It has now been revealed that judgment lost will be free for Xbox Live Gold and Xbox Game Pass Ultimate users from today until Sunday night, when players will be required to purchase the game to continue. Luckily, the full game is made available for free, meaning save progress will continue once players purchase the game. Risk takers looking to finish judgment lost during its free trial might be more than they can bargain though, as judgment lostThe storyline takes at least 20 hours to complete, and rushing through the game would be like ignoring all of its secondary content and mini-games, which are a Sega staple. Yakuza series.
The future of Judgement the series seems disastrous since judgment lostthe exit. Despite a DLC storyline featuring Kaito set to release next week, it seems Takayuki Yagami’s adventures have come to an end with the second game in the series, as issues regarding the character’s actor (Takuya Kimura) are occurred shortly before the game’s release. It appears that a disagreement between Sega and Kimura’s talent agency that banned PC versions of the games could be the reason studio Ryu Ga Gotoku recently revealed that it was creating a new IP address without any plan for a Judgment 3.
judgment lost is now available for PS4, PS5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S.

If you’re an Xbox Live Gold or Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscriber looking for some video game-shaped entertainment this weekend, you might want to head to your Xbox, where Yakuza spin-off Lost Judgment, city builder Before We Leave and Far Cry 6 are all free for a limited time.
Lost Judgment is the sequel to 2018’s Judgment and sees the return of protagonist Takayuki Yagami, a former defense attorney turned private detective, for a possibly even more sprawling open-world adventure through Kamurocho and Isezaki Ijincho. Things take a darker turn this time around, however, with a story of sexual assault, suicide, and bullying centered around a school where much of the investigative action takes place.
Eurogamer’s Martin Robinson applauded the strength of developer RGG Studio’s typically busy open world in his review, but felt that Lost Judgment’s wavering tone struggled with the seriousness of its themes. “Video games can and should tackle serious issues,” he wrote, “I’m just not sure the video game with the skater detective who spends his free time getting drunk, gambling playing arcade games and tracking down underwear thieves or juggling themes of suicide, bullying and sexual assault.
Judgment Lost – Story Trailer.
Lost Judgment, if you’re curious to try it out for yourself, is free to all Xbox Live Gold and Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscribers as part of Microsoft’s regular Free Play Days initiative and will remain so until this Sunday. March 27, at 6:59 a.m. UK.
Joining Lost Judgment as part of this final free weekend are last year’s Far Cry 6 – a solid entry for the series that this time takes Ubisoft’s open-world FPS formula to the fictional Caribbean island of Yara – and the city builder Before We Leave. The latter takes place in a “comfortable corner” of the universe and sees players attempting to help their Peeps thrive as they emerge into the sun after generations underground. “Start rebuilding their lost civilization by providing shelter, discovering ancient technology, and expanding this reborn society to other continents and planets,” says developer Balancing Monkey Games.
To get started with any of the games included in these latest Free Play Days, all you have to do is download them from the Xbox store. Progress made can be carried over to the full version (all of which are currently discounted) if you opt to purchase once the free weekend is over.

Sometimes you see a screenshot of a game and you immediately think, “I need to play this.” Retro sprite scaling runner Slipstream is one of those games for me, which is why I’m excited to see the indie title getting a wider release on April 7 for Xbox, PlayStation, and Nintendo Switch.
Slipstream has been out for a few years now, but only on PC, via Steam. It’s a fun and beautiful homage to classic Sega Super Scaler proto-3D racing games, like Super grip, power drift, mobile-radio and of course, out run. The candy-colored skies, the free palms and synth tunes inflated with nostalgia are merged with a drift-centric driving model and a small selection of performance cars from the late 80s and early 90s, like the Nissan Z32 and Lancia Delta Integrale.
This is a Kickstarter GIF of the game, when it was originally in development. It looks even better now.Picture: Ansdor Games
In reality, Slipstream features a few different modes that mimic the playstyles of some of those aforementioned games. A titled Grand Tour allows you to navigate through all locations in the game through branching paths, out run-style. The Grand Prix is more like Wait, with its championship-style format and cash prizes awarded for finishing position, which you can then use to improve your run. And for this console version, Slipstream gains new features like the ability to rewind the game if you mess up, with a VHS tape rewind effect when you do. Perfect.
There’s even a four-player mode!Picture: Ansdor Games
G/O Media may receive a commission
I caught Slipstream It’s been years for a dollar on Steam, and while I appreciate it, let’s be real – a PC isn’t the optimal place to experience such a streamlined, old-school arcade racing game. It’s for this reason that I’m excited to see the game coming to Nintendo’s handheld. I recently upgraded to a Switch OLED, and can’t wait to see how those colors look on the handheld’s improved screen. Frankly, the system could use more runners like this.
the fortnite Update 3.50 is now rolling out to PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, and Xbox One. Today’s new Fortnite patch (March 24) is a minor update following the big launch of the new season. However, it still has one or two improvements that some players will be happy to see implemented. Read on for the full list of Fortnite 3.50 patch notes.
Fortnite 3.50 Patch Notes
Version 3.50
Fixed the issue where Xbox players using keyboard and mouse could stop moving when pressing a mouse button.
Addresses stability issues.
Above are the fixes contained in the 3.50 update. Epic Games devs are still investigating issues such as vehicles stuttering and shaking when driving in Battle Royale or Creative, Low Mesh setting not working as expected, and running Fortnite using DirectX 12 resulting in slower performance.
Those who use a keyboard and mouse on Xbox, which can make aiming easier than using a controller, will be very happy to see the movement bug fixed. Now those players can go back to mousing over enemies and taking them out with a click or two of their head!
As with everyone else, the “stability issues” that have been fixed should mean the game now runs better than ever. If you’re having issues after the launch of the recent season, it’s definitely worth downloading and installing the new patch to see if your issues have been resolved.
Those disappointed with this more minor update shouldn’t feel too down, as there’s often a new Fortnite patch just around the corner. Hold on tight and expect more content to be released next week.
In other gaming news, Microsoft was hacked by the same group that hit Nvidia and Samsung. Rocksteady has postponed the Suicide Squad game until next year. Nintendo has finally responded to the week-long unavailability of the eShop.
Evil Dead: The Game finally launches this year, after multiple delays. With our shotguns, we’ll soon be blasting the undead, demons, and phantasms while shouting excessively corny slogans as a group. Saber Interactive, which has worked on World War Z before, has a solid understanding of this type of gameplay. Fans of Ash Williams and the cast of Ash VS Evil Dead will be eager to get their hands on the game, but nowadays how do we gain access to these games.
However, we do not yet know if the game will be available on Xbox Gamepass. With the amount of options Gamepass has, combined with how quickly games arrive, it’s a decent guess it could show up one day, but right now we don’t know if it’ll be there first. day itself.
The game is releasing on multiple platforms, and one of those platforms is indeed Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, and Xbox One, in addition to PC. This will be a big relief for the many players eager to blast some demons with their friends.
Evil Dead: The Game will be released on May 13, 2022 on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, Switch and PC. You can catch up on the series so far through various streaming platforms.

Through the hundreds of thousands of roads across the country, millions of hitchhikers travel. Generally, when you hear the term hitchhiker, it gives a feeling of unease, the various stories about things that happen to hitchhikers. However, in the current Mad About Pandas game, HitchHiker, they’re looking to tell a different story, hopefully something deeper. Revise Hitchhiker the game, we embarked on a mystery-solving adventure along lost highways.
Developer Mad About Pandas is known for its other games: Truck Simulator 2016, Forever Forest: Child of a Forestand The great scare: Tower of panic. HitchHiker is the first VR release from developer Mad About Pandas, bringing their unique style to the VR world. So how is their first attempt at VR gaming going? Find out in our HitchHiker review.
Story: A story-driven mystery, lost in translation
The story told in HitchHiker is one of its strengths. The player finds himself in the shoes of an anonymous character offering a dark and twisted mysterious tale. Introducing well-voiced characters, each with their own stories, secrets, tips and advice for the main character. With almost no memory of who they are or why they are, this is where the mystery begins. Covering small roads, desert highways and urban highways. As you hitchhike through the various settings, a secret about the character will begin to unfold. Meet the other drivers along the way who hold the various keys to who you are and what’s going on.
Hitchhiker is story driven so that the player experiences a relatively deep and twisted story throughout the five different pilots or “chapters”. Here, their dialogue choices will affect the story by altering how interactions with each driver play out. The narrative begins normally and as the player begins to unravel the mystery, that’s when it will get weirder and even touch on the supernatural. Hitchhiker will remind players of games like Kentucky Route Zeroalmost giving off a Twilight Zone type feeling.
Gameplay: There is little to do
Our HitchHiker review found it to be less of a game and more of an interactive movie. Much of your playtime is sitting in the passenger seat of different cars, listening to the driver talk about various things. Here the player can choose between different dialogue choices. Players can also interact with the multiple objects littered around each vehicle throughout each chapter. However, outside of the few things to interact with and the dialogue choices that can be made, there’s nothing else but to sit back and listen.
Among the various VR games available, Hitchhiker is one of the lesser games when it comes to gameplay. However, Hitchhiker is definitely more about story and narrative. So for players who enjoy a narrative mystery built around the various conversations between characters, Hitchhiker could be right up your alley. But for, those not interested in endless conversations with little to no action might want to look elsewhere.
Graphics/Audio: glitchy and lacking on Quest 2
Here in our review, this is where HitchHiker misses the most. Right from the start, gamers will be able to tell that the graphics performance is poor on the Oculus Quest 2. Unfortunately, the problem only gets worse from there. It looks like the game wasn’t exactly built for the Oculus Quest 2, immediately having performance issues on the device. Some of them like issues with the player’s point of view in-game, where it’s not at a proper level or angle to the point where it causes headaches.
The star part of the game is the landscape, where the player will spend most of the game staring. Unfortunately, bugs and glitches are ruining the landscape in HitchHiker. For example, grass will move in and out in several chapters, clouds will glide across mountains and hills, and birds will glide across the screen. Drivers and vehicles also had their glitches and problems. Some cars had a shadow effect which, with virtual reality, caused eye discomfort. On two occasions, their drivers completely disappeared from their vehicles.
Audio in HitchHiker is good. The sound quality is excellent, conversations are clear and understood. The intermission music is great, giving players a break between long conversations with each pilot. The weather sound effects are great even when the graphics aren’t.
Conclusion: HitchHiker misses with various bugs
Between story, gameplay and graphics/audio. It would be hard to recommend this game to others. Although the story is compelling and deep at times, it is held back by the various graphical glitches throughout the game. Additionally, the odd vantage point inside the car sometimes makes it difficult to interact with objects and the driver. Lastly, the poor optimization of HitchHiker on the Oculus Quest 2 will cause the player to face minor headaches and eye strain while playing. For those who are still interested in HitchHiker, it would be best to wait for more game updates from Mad About Pandas. The persistent issues in the game make it difficult to complete.
Hitchhiker is a mysterious game set along lost highways, where your goal is to solve the puzzle of your own story. As a hitchhiker with no memory or destination, you witness a series of journeys through a strange and beautiful landscape, following the mysterious disappearance of someone close to you.

Whether it is renewed at the monthly or annual price is not specified. Besides Xbox, Marvel Unlimited is available to play on iPhone, iPad, Android devices, and the web.
Such a deal could contribute to the ongoing battle for dominance between Xbox and PlayStation. While the PlayStation 5 became a smash hit after its release in 2020, the Xbox Series X | S suffers from the stigma of being the most criticized game console in the world. However, what Xbox has on PlayStation is its Game Pass. This allows users to play a huge range of classic games released for Xbox, Xbox 360, and the original Xbox One for $14.99 per month, with new games added to the service every few weeks. Rumors suggest that PlayStation is currently developing a similar service that would integrate with its current passes, including PlayStation Now and PlayStation Plus.
RELATED: Why Galactic Civilizations III is Worth Revisiting on Game Pass
Although PlayStation plans to release its own Sony Game Pass, it’s unclear whether Xbox should care about the competition. Due to Xbox’s ownership under Microsoft, subscribers with Xbox Game Pass can download games from the service on PCs as well as Xbox, which PlayStation likely won’t be able to emulate beyond the ability of PlayStation Now to stream PC games. Beyond that is this new deal with Marvel Entertainment, and it’s unclear if PlayStation can also offer a deal for access to Marvel Unlimited once it releases its version of Game Pass.
Marvel Unlimited is available now on iPhone, iPad, Android devices and on the web. It is not yet visible on the Xbox Game Pass but should be available shortly.

If you’re the type who regularly enjoys new features in Minecraft before they officially launch through the Bedrock Beta program, you’ll probably be pleased to hear that developer Mojang is simplifying the whole process with a new standalone preview app.
Currently, those wishing to test out future Minecraft Bedrock features must download the Xbox Insider Hub, sign up for the beta program (turning Bedrock into a beta), and then embark on the somewhat tedious process of switching between build and builds. beta as needed. Mojang’s new Minecraft Preview app is therefore designed to eliminate much of that fuss by keeping the two versions entirely separate.
This means that playing the new preview build won’t affect your standard Bedrock experience, but it does mean temporarily saying goodbye to some core Minecraft features. Mojang notes that cross-platform multiplayer, achievements, featured domains/servers, and the marketplace will not be available through Minecraft Preview.
Minecraft Live 2021 – A preview of the Wild update.
In its announcement post, Mojang explains that one of its goals with Minecraft Preview is to extend access to future content to players on platforms not supported by the existing beta program – which is currently limited. to Xbox, Windows and Android. For starters, however, Minecraft Preview will be available on iOS, Xbox, and Windows 10/11, with download instructions varying widely depending on your platform of choice.
On iOS, for example, you’ll have to opt for Minecraft Preview, but things are easier on Windows. Anyone who already owns the Bedrock version of Minecraft or has access to it through Game Pass can now install Minecraft Preview through the Windows Store. Xbox is a little more complicated though, as the app hasn’t officially released on the platform yet. Instead, it’s only available to Xbox Insiders at this time.
As for the existing Minecraft Beta program, it is still available on Xbox, Windows, and Android. However, Mojang notes that it will begin to phase this out in favor of Minecraft Preview to allow it to “develop and improve the beta program in a more robust way.”
Minecraft’s previously announced savage update, which adds mobs of frogs and a new mangrove swamp biome, is next on Mojang’s list of releases, so expect to see some of those features making their way into the new Minecraft Preview app as its launch day approaches. .

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (TMNT): The Cowabunga Collection is available for pre-order!
A few weeks ago, it was announced that Nickelodeon, Konami, and Digital Eclipse have teamed up to bring 13 classic Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (TMNT) games into the modern age. This announcement alone made it Sony’s best state of play, in my personal opinion. The defining arcade beat ’em experiences plus 11 other amazing games return to fuel our nostalgic needs. We don’t have an exact date yet, but now you can guarantee your copy of the greatest collection of TMNT games by pre-ordering yours today!
TMNT: The Cowabunga Collection Pre-order
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The CowabungaCollection is now available for pre-order for PlayStation®5, PlayStation®4, Xbox series X|S, Xbox One, nintendo switch and PC Steam. Consoles have a choice of a physical or digital edition. Personally, I know I need the physical edition. The game RRPs $39.99 / €39.99 / £34.99. Which, for this amazing collection, actually seems like a very reasonable price, but I’m also sure a lot of people wouldn’t pay more. Seems like a good price as I know I spent more than that in quarters… Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (Arcade) was really difficult.

The 13 games in the collection are:
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (Arcade)
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Turtles in Time (Arcade)
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (NES)
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles II: The Arcade Game (NES)
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles III: The Manhattan Project (NES)
The arcade games and console versions of TMNT really set the standard for beat ’em games. turtles in time is a top 3 for both arcade/console beat ’em ups. It’s amazing that the collection will include both versions. I hope the beat ’em up games will have the 4 player option. Hyperstone Break and Manhattan Project 4 players would be a dream come true. I’m also extremely interested to see how different the Japanese versions of the games are. The Cowabunga Collection is truly a dream come true for many, if not all, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles fans.

With audio quality on the rise, gamers are more confident than ever when getting rid of cables. There is now a wide selection of Bluetooth-enabled audio equipment and gaming headsets that can easily connect to our gaming devices and give us a true cable-free experience.
The games progress to the point where the sound effects, voice acting, and overall quality are the best they’ve ever been. So if you have the ability to connect high-end headphones to your Xbox and enjoy crisp, clear sound, then you should, right? Unfortunately, Xbox One does not have native Bluetooth support, however, it is possible to use Bluetooth headphones with Xbox Series X and Series S, as long as they are compatible.
How to connect a Bluetooth headset to Xbox One, Xbox Series X and Series S
When you buy a pair of compatible Xbox headphones, wireless or wired, they are simply plug and play. A wireless pair will come with an accompanying transmitter/dongle. Plug this dongle into an available port, turn on your headphones, and press and hold the pairing button if necessary to find the device. They should be recognized instantly, but pay attention to the lights on your headphones and enjoy.
For Bluetooth headphones that aren’t compatible, you can still technically connect them if you’re using devices like the Uber 3.5mm Bluetooth Transmitter Audio Adapter, but this may vary. The main downside to this solution is the lack of microphone support and even when using the built-in mic the quality isn’t great. However, it could still work for single-player games. Another issue gamers need to be aware of is latency issues, with Bluetooth transmitters causing noticeable lag.
Just looking to join Xbox voice chat?
For those just looking to chat with friends, things are much simpler. You can download the Xbox app on your Android or IOS phone, sign in to your Xbox Live account, and start or join a party. Then all you have to do is tap on the headset icon, connect your Bluetooth headset to the device, and now you can chat with friends.
Remember that you will not hear game audio with this solution.
Compatible Xbox headsets
To avoid any issues, consider an Xbox One, Series X, and Series S compatible gaming headset. These work great for sound and in-game chat, giving you more time to focus on your favorite games.
Here are some notable wireless Bluetooth headphones for Xbox gaming:
Is there another way to connect Bluetooth headphones to Xbox?
Technically, no, however, some modern smart TVs and gaming monitors now support Bluetooth connectivity. Since your TV is the audio source, you can simply pair your headphones to the TV as usual and start enjoying your games. Please note that this won’t allow you to chat in-game or with friends, so it’s really only suitable when enjoying single-player apps, media, and games.
It’s always frustrating that our devices can’t work perfectly no matter what device, but we are slowly getting to that place. We shouldn’t need compatible headphones to connect via Bluetooth to Xbox, PlayStation or PC, but here we are.

Although the weather hasn’t been kind to the PlayStation Vita, the handheld has become cult as an RPG machine thanks to the Workshop series, persona 4 goldenand Trails series. It was also known as an indie paradise with games such as Fez and Hotline Miami. However, the PS Vita is not limited to indie or RPG titles. The little machine has some great music-based titles packed with songs that rival the best deals on the market. just dance series.
RELATED: PS Vita: Great Games That Are Only On The Handheld Console
The handheld is a hotbed of rhythm games (much like Nintendo Switch) that has made it a darling among a group of niche gamers. The PS Vita’s beat lineup offered everything from exclusives to ports that brought the atmosphere of the arcades to someone’s commute or bedroom.
ten DJMAX Technika Tune
DJMAX Technika Tune is a port of by Neowiz long-running arcade franchise. Which makes DJMAX Technika Tune different from other traditional rhythm games is that it relies on touch control. The gameplay requires fans to tap and drag notes as they appear on screen.
DJMAX Technika Tune also features a diverse library of tracks not usually featured on other titles. Instead of the usual Eurobeat, J-POP or Vocaloid, the game features songs in a more Korean style. Tracks from K-POP groups such as KARA and prominent Korean DJs fill the library with a variety of tunes.
GAMER VIDEO OF THE DAY
9 MUSYNX
MUSYNXis a no frills rhythm game. There are no other distractions, just a pure rhythm game experience. The game has two button modes; four and six keys and two difficulty options. While it might seem like a dreary experience, aesthetically it’s one of the most colorful and dynamic games (a path taken by many indie developers) out there. These qualities combine to create a simple yet enjoyable experience.
As DJMAX Technika Tune, MUSYNX offers another taste of music that cannot be found elsewhere. Here, the tracks are heavily influenced by China. From chiptune to folk tunes to Vocaloid, it highlights the fantastic ways others can interpret music and make it their own.
8 Demo
Demo is one of those rare rhythm games that has a story attached to the gameplay. A girl named Alice falls into a strange and mysterious world. There she meets an individual by the name ofDeemo, who agrees to help him find his world by playing the piano.
RELATED: Best Rhythm Games You Can Only Play on PC
Demo relies on touch controls where precision is key. It’s frustrating at first, but the charm of the story makes it worth it. Demo has a diverse music library with beautiful melodies and exceptional and emotive vocals, making it a fascinating experience.
7 SUPERBEAT XONiC
SUPERBEAT XONiC was developed by former employees of DJ-MAX series. Although the game is inspired by its spiritual predecessor, it has its own personality and style. SUPERBEAT XONiC is elegant and fast, but at the same time, very forgiving. Those new to the genre can get to grips with things with the smooth control scheme.
The game can be played using button inputs, touchscreen functionality, or a mix of both. There are also DJ icons that a player can equip to have an extra health bar or a shield to prevent a combo chain from breaking. The game features a huge selection of tracks, ranging from EDM to Hip-Hop.
6 Persona 4: Dance All Night
While Persona 4: Golden often appears in the best RPG of all time lists, Persona 4: Dance All Night gets the cold shoulder treatment from some Character Fans. This is due to the title’s unique blend of gameplay, but that quality is also exactly what makes the game interesting to check out.
The core experience offers a lot, from character selection and customization options to remixed tracks from an already beloved soundtrack. It offers a breath of fresh air for those who want to escape the mundane RPG routine and enjoy something laid back and fun.
5 IA/VT -Colored-
There’s more to Vocaloid video games than Hatsune Miku.IA/VT -Colored- is one of those titles. Based on 1st Place Co. AI project, IA/VT -Colored- brings a new face to the Vocaloid gaming scene, something that hasn’t really been seen since Megpoid the music for the PlayStation Portable.
Although this game lacks the bubbly personality found in the Hatsune Miku series, it features a more serious yet comforting tone. Compared to other rhythm games, the songs are full-length, so players can expect them to last between four and eight minutes.
4 Lumines: Electronic Symphony
Lumines: Electronic Symphony is not a traditional rhythm game. It mixes music and puzzles into one package. Although this formula has gained ground in recent years, with titles such as Tetris effect, the overall package is difficult to reproduce. As Tetristhe principle is simple: chain blocks to make them disappear.
However, the game’s trance-like presentation provides an ambience that Tetris can not. The background music blends perfectly with the dynamic gameplay. This makes players feel like they’re in a different world every time they start a new puzzle. Another title that may not be for everyone, but features fantastic music.
3 Taiko No Tatsujin: Essential Songs
Combining two of Bandai Namco’s franchises (the industry sometimes does fantastic crossovers), Taiko no Tatsujin and The [email protected], Taiko no Tatsujin: Essential Songs brings together the gameplay of the first and the songs of the second in a single package. There are two versions of the game.
RELATED: Anime Fans Should Check Out Taiko No Tatsujin: The Drum Master
Original fans of The [email protected] will meet at home with Aka Ban (Red Disc), which contains songs found in the original arcade and Xbox 360 games. Ao-ban (Blue Disc), on the other hand, contains songs from the anime and PlayStation games. New players will therefore probably be more familiar with this version.
2 magic beat
Arc System Worksis generally known for its fighting games, such as BlazBlue and Guilty Equipment. Sometimes, however, they venture into other genres, the results are simply mesmerizing every time. magic beatis another block-based puzzle game where the objective is to stack these shapes to the beat. While the game is inspired by Luminous, puzzle fighterand Tetrisit always feels original.
The game’s soundtrack matches the general style of pixel art, with bubbly tracks from Vocaloid and samples from other Arc System Works securities.
1 Organhythm
Organhythmdoes the improbable by mixing the RTS and the rhythm genre. Players take control of an army as they march to victory. Unlike a traditional RTS game which features a list of commands, there are only three colored icons to tap with the beat. There are no physical control buttons available and only the touchscreen is available.
The ubiquitous electronic and rock music fits perfectly into the general presentation. The game is short depending on the difficulty and can get repetitive, which is a shame. However, the uniqueness of the game makes it worth it. At times, the experience is almost as tense as struggling on a big track in the Guitar Hero Games.

Valve’s Steam Deck has been received with open arms despite some games having compatibility issues, including first-party Xbox titles. But Microsoft went ahead and partially solved this problem by bringing Xbox Cloud Gaming to the Steam Deck.
Microsoft’s Xbox Cloud Gaming is now accessible through a beta version of its Edge web browser. While it’s not as easy as hitting a download button, Microsoft provides a step-by-step guide on how to get Edge and Xbox Cloud Gaming working on the Steam Deck. There is a command to add here and there but nothing too complicated that will take users beyond the guide. Once the installations are complete, Xbox Cloud Gaming is available on Valve’s new handheld.
A big plus for Microsoft and Valve working together to bring Xbox Cloud Gaming to the Steam Deck is that previously unsupported first-party Xbox titles are now playable. This means games like Gears 5, Halo Infinite, Halo: The Master Chief Collection, and others are no longer banned due to issues such as anti-cheat incompatibility.
While Xbox Cloud Gaming is undoubtedly the star of the show here, Microsoft Edge community manager u/MSFTMissy teased that there’s a bit more in store for Edge when it comes to gaming.
“…but please know that this is just the beginning of the Edge gaming story,” u/MSFTMissy said in a community post detailing the installation process.
It’s not uncommon for browsers to look into games. OperaGX is a great example of a web browser that caters to gamers with handy utilities and other features. The browser recently teamed up with Logitech G to integrate RGB lighting support. But Microsoft is probably looking to use Edge in a more practical way when it comes to games.
While Microsoft and Valve working together to bring Xbox Cloud Gaming to the Steam Deck might seem like an odd move, Valve co-founder and president Gabe Newell has previously expressed openness to Microsoft bringing Xbox Game Pass to the Steam Deck. Additionally, Valve has posted a Windows resource page with updated drivers and a Windows installation guide on Steam Deck.
Steam Deck reservations are still open. Those booking today are considering a Q3 2022 ship window.

Original Xbox One Console
Let’s see how we can update them.
1]Update all Xbox consoles (except original Xbox One)
If you don’t have the original Xbox One console and have other variants, you can easily update it offline by following the steps below.
Download Offline System Update File
Update your console via Xbox Start-up Trouble Shooter
Download Offline System Update File
You need to download offline system update file OSU1 from xbox.com on your Windows PC. Next, plug in the NTFS-formatted USB drive with at least a minimum of 6GB of space. Make sure your USB flash drive does not contain any other files. Then extract the OSU1 file to your PC which creates a .postcode file on your PC. Copy the $SystemUpdate file from the extracted .postcode file to your USB drive. Then unplug the USB drive.
Update your console through the Xbox Startup Troubleshooter
The only way to update your Xbox console offline is to use an Xbox Startup Troubleshooter. To view the Xbox Startup Troubleshooter,
Turn off your Xbox console and disconnect all cables from the console. Wait 30 seconds and plug them all back in.
Then press the Pair button (on the left side of the console) and the Eject button on the front. Then press the Xbox button on the console. Xbox Series S and Xbox One S All-Digital Edition do not have an eject button. You can open the Xbox Startup Troubleshooter using the Pair and Xbox button. Hold Pair and Eject for 10-15 seconds until you hear two “power on” tones within a few seconds. Then it will take you to the Xbox Startup Troubleshooter.
Plug the USB drive into the console. Next, select Offline System Update using the D-pad and the A button on your controller. It will start updating the console. Once the update is complete, your console will restart and take you to the console home page.
Here is how you can update offline Xbox consoles using the Xbox Offline system update file.
2]Update original Xbox One console
If you have the original Xbox One console and need to update it offline using Xbox Offline System Update, there are two ways you can update it. If you can view the Xbox Startup Troubleshooter as in the previous process, you can follow the steps above. Otherwise, follow the method below.
Before jumping into updates, you need to know the OS version of your console. To know the version of the operating system,
press the Xbox button on the controller
To select Profile & system
Then go to Settings so what System
Now select Console Information
There you will see the operating system version of your console.
Check if your console OS version matches one of the below:
6.2.11791.0 (xb_rel_1411.141114-2300) eng
6.2.12521.0 (xb_rel_1503.150305-1449) eng
6.2.12998.0 (xb_rel_1506.150601-2200) fre
6.2.13326.0 (xb_rel_1508.150810-2029) eng
6.2.13332.0 (xb_rel_1508.150903-2141) eng
10.0.10586.1006 (th2_xbox_rel_1510.151107-2322) eng
10.0.10586.1016 (th2_xbox_rel_1510.151118-2147) eng
10.0.10586.1024 (th2_xbox_rel_1510.151203-1909) eng
10.0.10586.1026 (th2_xbox_rel_1510.151217-1035) eng
10.0.10586.1194 (th2_xbox_rel_1603.160317-1900) eng
If your console’s OS version is one of the versions above, you need to perform an offline update, if not, you need to perform two updates.
To update the consoles with the OS versions (mentioned above), download the offline system update file OSU1 on your Windows PC.
Plug the USB drive into your Xbox console. Next, turn off the console and unplug all cables (except the USB drive) from the console and wait 30 seconds. Then reconnect the cables. Press and hold the Pair and Eject button then press the Xbox button. Continue to hold the Press and Eject buttons for another 10-15 seconds until you hear two “power on” tones. Then wait for the console to restart, which means the update is now complete.
If the OS version of your console does not match the versions mentioned above, you need to download two versions and update the console twice. First download, OSU3 or OSU2 depending on the OS version, and follow the process above to update the console. Then download OSU1 and follow the steps above to complete the second update.
If your console is 6.2.9781.0, then download USO3 build, if not, download OSU2.
Download Xbox system update offline at xbox.com
OSU1 | OSU2 | OSU3.
This is how you can update the original Xbox One console offline.
How do I force my Xbox One to update offline?
Before proceeding directly with the updates, you must know the OS version of your Xbox One console and download the offline update system files according to it and load them on the USB flash drive. Then follow the above methods to update Xbox One.

While most people only associate Activision with the Call of Duty franchise, this developer-turned-publishing juggernaut has a much more varied and deep history than the insanely popular first-person shooter franchise that dominates sales. year after year. The Activision name has been around for almost as long as home console gaming, and in fact, it was the very first third-party studio to exist in the games industry. If you go back to the old Atari consoles, you will find his name on many old and crisp titles. Over the decades, this company has gone through many changes, taken on new studios, and become one of the most successful companies in all of gaming.
Having such a history through decades of gaming as a publisher, Activision has brought us hundreds of great titles. Sure, he’s been a little determined lately with how many Call of Duty games he’s making compared to everything else, but it’s worth remembering all the variety he gave us once and a while. hope that Activision might diversify again in the future. The one thing that doesn’t change is the fact that Activision knows how to release great games, and we’ve scoured its catalog to share the best Activision games of all time. This list will not include any Blizzard games even though the two companies are under the same roof, and we will also limit one game per series to reduce Call of Duty games repetition.
For the past few days, the Wii Shop Channel has been experiencing major problems. Currently, it seems impossible to access the digital store.
On startup, you will likely be presented with what is more or less a blank screen. Sit for long enough and you may also encounter an error code. Unfortunately, there is nothing else to do but manually return to the home menu.
Many will probably regard the situation as unimportant. After all, we’re a few console generations away from the Wii at this point. Nintendo has since released the Wii U and the Switch – the latter is Nintendo’s current focus (and the focus of many gamers).
The Wii Shop Channel technically closed in 2019, but those who purchased content before were still able to access their past purchases. Due to the current situation, this is not possible at the moment. Nintendo said earlier downloads would stop “at some point” as well, although there has been no announcement regarding a specific date.
As for the current status of the Wii Shop Channel, it’s unclear what’s going on. It is certainly possible that he will return in a few days. But looking Nintendo maintenance page, there’s nothing about issues or when things will be up and running again. We will keep an eye on the situation going forward.
Nintendo announced last month that it would end Wii U and 3DS eShop purchases in March 2023. We have more information on that. here.
Xbox Live Gold subscribers on Xbox One, Xbox Series S, and Xbox Series X have two new free games, and they may be the most disappointing pairing of Xbox Live Gold games yet. Starting March 1, Xbox Live Gold subscribers can download The Flame in the Flood free. It is not, however, one of the two games in question. The Flame in the Flood is a well-regarded game. Xbox Live Gold subscribers were also able to download sacred 2 fallen angel until a few days ago, when it was replaced by the aforementioned pair of newer free games: street power football and The truth or the square of spongebob.
The first is a 2020 game from developers SFL Interactive and Gamajun and publisher Nacon. It has a 41 on Metacritic. The other game is a 2009 Xbox 360 game from Heavy Iron Studios which has a 40 on Metacritic. If none of these games appeal to you, even as free downloads, you’re not alone.
As alluded to, the Games With Gold supply of Xbox Live Gold has been on a downward trajectory for years and it’s bordering on a meme within the Xbox community at this point. That said, this may be a new low point for the subscription service. It’s obvious at this point that Xbox is only focused on Xbox Game Pass.
Below you can read more about both games and check out a trailer for both games, courtesy of Xbox:
Street Power Football: “Show off your sick style in this fast-paced, action-packed version of the beautiful game. Try out over-the-top cheats, game modes and playing fields, and unleash your soccer superpowers. Compete against street legends or your friends in a game to determine who will claim the crown of King of the Street!”
Truth or SpongeBob SquarePants: “SpongeBob has lost Krabby Patty’s secret formula. With your help and the help of some Bikini Bottom buddies, SpongeBob must use Plankton’s memory machine to trace the happiest times of his life and find the formula.”

Xenoverse 2 Lite is a free version of the game available on PS4 and Xbox One which was released in 2019. Bandai Namco released a Switch version of lightbut later deleted.
Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 Lite works as a trial or demo mode, as it has significant limitations on content and progress. Players who start in the Lite version can keep their progress and characters if they choose to upgrade to the full version of the game.
The Lite Edition includes the following content:
The first five episodes of the story campaign, covering up to the Galactic Emperor arc, plus the side quests available up to that point
Online battles
The Hero Colosseum (a tabletop miniature battle-style mini-game)
photo mode
Lite versions of Raid Battles (multiplayer cooperative battles against powerful NPC bosses)
The Lite Edition also includes restrictions on available skills, gear, and characters. For example, Lite players cannot create custom Saiyan or Frieza Race characters. They also cannot use race-specific transformations other than Kaioken and Potential Unleashed. Player levels are also capped at 50 (compared to 99 for paying players). Lite players cannot access the Guru House and as such cannot increase their stats beyond the 100 cap. access to certain NPCs.

Valve finally started shipping its Steam Deck handheld gaming console in February, which is essentially a Linux gaming PC in the form of a Nintendo Switch. It already works with many Linux and Windows games out of the box, and Microsoft supports it on most Xbox Game Studios games available through Steam – those that don’t have a competitive multiplayer component, anyway. Now the company is working to support Xbox Cloud Gaming on the Steam Deck, although this currently involves installing the full Microsoft Edge web browser.
Microsoft has released a support article and a Reddit post explaining how to play Xbox cloud games (with a valid Xbox Game Pass Ultimate membership) on the Steam Deck. The process mainly involves installing the Linux version of the Microsoft Edge browser in the Linux desktop environment and then adding a shortcut to Edge in the Steam interface. Microsoft has even created artwork that you can add to the shortcut to better suit your Steam games. All information is available in the two source links below.
Installing Edge outside of Steam and creating your own shortcut is a lot of work, but maybe in the future Microsoft might release Edge on Steam for easy installation on Steam Deck. Xbox Cloud Gaming also works well on Windows 10 installed on the Steam Deck, using Valve’s recently released system drivers.
Microsoft quickly expanded Xbox Cloud Gaming to other platforms. The feature came to Xbox Series X/S and Xbox One consoles in November, giving gamers the ability to quickly try out Xbox games without downloading them to the console itself. There are also a few Xbox games only available on Cloud Gaming or the new Xbox Series X/S, such as Microsoft Flight Simulator.

The Xbox app on Windows is where you can buy, manage, and play PC games. It’s also the app that lets you access Game Pass, which gives you access to over a hundred games through a monthly subscription.
While there are plenty of amazing games at your fingertips on the Xbox app, it’s not uncommon to experience slow download speeds. No matter how fast your connection is, you may find yourself tapping your watch while waiting for a game to finish downloading.
To help you out, we’ve put together all the troubleshooting steps you need to follow to speed up downloads on the Xbox app for Windows. Take each in turn and your speed should pick up.
1. Restart the Xbox app
It’s the most basic tip ever, but it’s still worth it: restart the Xbox app. You’d be surprised how often a good old “turn it off and turn it back on” solves the problem.
By default, closing the Xbox app just minimizes it to your status bar. To close it completely, right click the Xbox icon in your status bar and click To leave.
You should also try restarting your entire computer. This will clear the system cache, close any programs that won’t open on startup, and give the Xbox app a cleaner slate.
2. Clear your network
It’s important to check that slow Xbox app downloads aren’t a sign of a larger network issue. Visit a website like Fast.com to check your internet speed. If the result is far from what you pay for, you may need to contact your ISP for assistance.
USE VIDEO OF THE DAY
You can try to fix this yourself. An easy step is to reset your router. Simply pull the plug, wait a minute, then plug it back in.
Also, stop all other activity on your network. Don’t download anything to your browser or stream on Netflix while using the Xbox app; your bandwidth is split between all tasks and you want to focus all resources on downloading the game.
Keep in mind that games on the Xbox app are unlikely to download at the maximum speed provided by your ISP. Indeed, you are at the mercy of various factors such as your distance from Microsoft’s servers and their congestion.
3. Disable the Xbox Insider Program
Joining the Xbox Insider Program gives you early access to Xbox app features and bug fixes. However, this can sometimes cause instability, including impacting your download speeds.
If you’re a member of the Xbox Insider program, you should quit it and see if that improves your speeds. Don’t worry, you can always re-subscribe later if you find it doesn’t make a difference.
To unsubscribe from the Xbox Insider Program:
In the Xbox app, click Your username on the top corner left.
To select Xbox Insider Program.
From the left menu, select Previews.
Under Joinedselect Windows Games.
Click on Manage.
Click on Exit preview.
To confirm the action, click Carry on.
Restart the Xbox app.
4. Do not allow downloads from other PCs
Windows includes a setting called Delivery Optimization, which is designed to improve the speed and reliability of Windows updates, Microsoft Store app updates, and Xbox app game downloads.
As part of this, there is a feature that not only allows you to grab download files from Microsoft, but also from other PCs that are downloading the same files. The download is split into multiple parts, with each part taken from the fastest and most reliable download source.
While the intentions behind the delivery optimization are sound, some users report that it actually slows down game downloads on the Xbox app. As such, it’s worth disabling it to experiment:
hurry Windows key + I to open Settings.
To select Update and security.
From the left menu, select Delivery Optimization.
Drag Allow downloads from other PCs for Disabled.
Surprisingly, other users report that enabling this feature improves their download speeds. So if this is already disabled on your system, try dragging At instead and select PC on my local network and PC on the Internet.
5. Remove Bandwidth Limits
By default, Windows dynamically optimizes your bandwidth when downloading games from the Xbox app. You can also limit the amount of bandwidth used by Windows, which is useful if you have a data throttling plan.
Some users found that Windows incorrectly throttled their bandwidth, even though their settings suggested that this shouldn’t happen. To overcome this:
hurry Windows key + I to open Settings.
To select Update and security.
From the left menu, select Delivery Optimization.
Click on Advanced options.
To select Percentage of measured bandwidth (measured against update source).
Check both boxes and set the sliders to 100%.
This specifically tells Windows not to apply any limits; For some reason some users are experiencing a bug where the slider percentages are applied even without the option selected.
The Microsoft Store isn’t faster
Some online tips claim that you can get faster download speeds through the Microsoft Store. However, this is misleading. In reality, both apps download at the same speed. Indeed, one displays the speed in megabits, the other in megabytes. So while the numbers may look different, the actual download speed is the same.
If you have the latest version of the Microsoft Store, you will not encounter this problem. Indeed, the Microsoft Store now directs you to the Xbox application to complete your purchase and start the download.
Spend less time downloading and more time playing
It’s incredibly frustrating when you want to play a new game and find yourself sitting there for hours twiddling your thumbs while the game downloads. Don’t let that happen to you. Hopefully the tips above fixed the problem and you can download through the Xbox app at the correct speed.
Remember, the Xbox app is your gateway to Xbox Game Pass. If you can play a few games a month, that’s amazing savings and more cost effective than buying the games outright.

Two more Xbox Free Games with Gold games for March 2022 are now live and available to Xbox Live Gold subscribers.
Instead of releasing all free games with Gold at once, Microsoft likes to release them in two batches each month. Xbox Live Gold subscribers are entitled to two of the four Games with Gold games at the start of the month, with two more added mid-month. As of Wednesday, March 16, Microsoft has added two more games to the free Games with Gold range for Xbox Live Gold subscribers to claim for their digital libraries.
Until April 15, Xbox Live Gold subscribers can snag the Xbox One game street power football. And by March 31, they can also claim the Xbox 360 game The truth or the square of spongebob. The truth or the square of spongebob replaces Sacred 2: Fallen Angelwhich was one of the free Xbox with Gold games of March 2022 from March 1 to March 15. The Flame in the Floodmeanwhile, will remain available until March 31.

For those who may not be familiar with the March 2022 free Xbox with Gold games, street power football is an arcade soccer game that may remind some fans of the fifa street games that EA used to make. Unfortunately, those who hoped it would fill the void left by the lack of news fifa street games will probably be disappointed because street power football received overwhelmingly negative reviews upon its initial launch.
Xbox Free Games With Gold List For March 2022
The Flame in the Flood (March 1 – March 31)
Sacred 2: Fallen Angel (March 1 – March 15)
Street Power Soccer (March 16 – April 15)
SpongeBob SquarePants (March 16 to March 31)
The truth or the square of spongebob received similarly negative reviews, although it was slightly better received than street power football. Spongebob Squarepants: Truth or Square is a 3D platform game based on Spongebob episode of the same name. It has a local co-op mode that allows the second player to take control of Plankton, and there are also some trivial questions for players to answer throughout the game as well. Spongebob diehards may find it enjoyable, but Xbox Live Gold subscribers have nothing to lose by claiming it while it’s free, whether they like it or not.
Later this month, Xbox Live Gold subscribers should find out what’s in store for them in April 2022. The Xbox Free Games with Gold program has come under heavy criticism lately as Microsoft focuses its attention on Xbox Game Pass, and fans So shouldn’t hold their breath for all the exciting things to hit the service next month, but again, there could be some surprises in store.

If you look long enough into the gaming scene, you’ll find that a lot of people have their own special gear that they swear up and down makes them better at bbest pc games. One of the advantages of using a gaming computer on something like PS5 or an Xbox is that you have complete flexibility in the peripherals and accessories you use with them.
And while controllers, gamepads – whatever you call them – are more often associated with game consoles, they are an important part of any PC gamer’s arsenal, especially if you game Ring of Elden as much as I have been.
At home, I use a standard Xbox Series X controller that I got through the Xbox Design Lab. It got me through some of the toughest parts of Elden Ring and pretty much every third-party game released in the last two years. However, there is one controller that many gamers secretly swear by: the 8BitDo SN30 Pro+.
I’ve heard so much about it in the past, but this morning I walked into the office and there was one just sitting on my desk in its packaging for some reason. So I did what any reasonable person would do. I downloaded Elden Ring and tested it.
The ultimate test
Everyone’s talking about Elden Ring right now – probably because it’s sold 12 million copies, according to a developer press release – but games like this are the perfect test of a new PC controller.
Elden Ring will both test your reflexes, and if there’s a problem with a gamepad, you’ll know right away. If a pimple doesn’t register sometimes, you’re going to die. If a button gets stuck once in a while, you’ll die. And if you are using a wireless Bluetooth PC controller like the 8BitDo SN30 Pro+.
The unforgiving and precise nature of games like Elden Ring and Dark Souls is exactly what I look for when testing any gaming hardware. Although please never ask me to play these games with a mouse and a keyboard – I don’t deserve this level of torment.
But after about an hour of playing with the 8BitDo controller, I don’t really want to put it down.
Solid as a rock
When I first took the controller out of its packaging, I was shocked at how light it was. But, even though it weighs less than the Xbox Series X controller, it already contained a battery – an immediate point in its favour.
I had some trouble setting it up initially, but only because I looked at the charging status light and assumed that would be what would flash when I tried to pair it with my PC. It just goes to show that even if you’re constantly opening up and installing shiny new tech toys, you should still read the instructions that come with a device.
But even with the lightness of the controller, it doesn’t look like a cheap plastic toy. The 8BitDo SN30 Pro+ is plastic, sure, but the controller body is stiff and the buttons are nice and crisp. It’s a weird word to describe the feel of a button, but I can’t really think of anything more specific – like taking a crunch on a fresh apple, but pressing your finger on a controller.
Just about any controller I’ve ever picked up has had an adjustment period, where my muscle memory adjusts to the controller layout, shape, and even the weight of the thing. But with the convenience of this 8BitDo controller, that adjustment period was minimal. The only thing I still can’t get over is how skinny the D-Pad buttons are, but it’s not enough to distract me from what I’m playing.
More than retro
It hasn’t escaped my notice that these controllers are designed for retro gaming, and I wonder how well it works for the trendiest modern game. But in many ways it suits a game like Elden Ring.
There are no fancy features of the 8BitDo 30+ Pro that are completely useless. I still don’t know why the PS5 controller has a touchpad, and more importantly why the company thought it would be necessary to add it to the latest controller.
The 8BitDo SN30 Pro+ is truly a stark contrast to the DualShock 5. Where Sony felt the need to stuff its controller with a new vibration motor, glowing lights, and an even bigger touchpad, the 8BitDo SN30 Pro+ skips all of that and just focusing on what makes a good controller in the first place.
It’s a bit early for me to say that this will be a long-term win here for 8BitDo. I’ve only been using the controller for about an hour, but I can already tell that this will be the controller I carry in my backpack. I use a lot of gaming laptops for work, and its lightweight and easy Bluetooth pairing means I can easily carry it around without worrying about cables or dongles.
A whole new world
Perhaps more importantly, the 8BitDo SN30 Pro+ opened my eyes to other third-party controllers. I have to admit, when it comes to PC games, I usually stick with the Xbox controller and call it good. I don’t have to worry about compatibility issues, and the form factor is familiar.
But this controller is so good. The last time I used a third-party controller was a Logitech F310 gamepad. I basically bought the thing because I needed a gamepad for some game or other I was playing at the time and it was cheap. The thing is it was cheap too. The buttons felt soft and the cable felt firm, and after a while it just stopped registering button presses sometimes.
After that, I switched to the Dualshock 4 controller, due to the familiar stick layout, and rated it as good. I never really looked at other controllers after that. But when I look at the market, there are dozens of PC controllers that look wonderful. Now I want to try more, and all thanks to 8BitDo. This controller showed me that sometimes the grass really is greener on the other side.

Skiing has been used for thousands of years as a way for people in cold climates to get around. Preserved skis and cave paintings show that skis were used by hunters and trappers in prehistoric times in the Altai region of Asia. Slowly, the use of skis migrated to the Eurasian arctic regions and then to the Scandinavian regions.
In 1938, the Winter Olympics included skiing competitions for the first time. Later, during World War II, the Finns’ expertise in moving quickly on skis kept Soviet and Nazi invaders at bay. Today, skiing is mainly considered a sport, but ski enthusiasts are not always able to travel to the nearest ski resort for skiing recreation. If you’re a keen skier, or not for that matter, sit down with a nice cup of hot chocolate and log on via the Login to FairGo Casinoor open your game console and play a ski-themed video game.
Some classic ski-themed video games include
Skiing by Activision
Ski was one of Activision’s first games. It wasa video game cartridge for the Atari 2600 which also played on Xbox 360, PlayStation and on Microsoft Windows. Ski was released in 1980 as a single-player game in which the player controlled the skier’s speed and direction with a joystick. The skier didn’t actually move in-game – the background graphics scrolled up to give the illusion of movement.
The gameplay involved dodging obstacles as the player tried to get their skier to the bottom of the hill as quickly as possible. A stopwatch recorded the time the player needed to reach the bottom of the ski course without hitting trees, bumps or other skiers and the player would repeat the game trying to beat their own score. A slalom mode has also been included for advanced players.
Spur Waku Waku Ski Wonder
Spur Waku Waku Ski Wonder was released by Human Entertainment in 1995 for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System. It is a multiplayer simulation game that revolves around a great ski competition between eight of the best skiers in the world. Players compete on four different courses and accumulate points based on their performance as they progress through the course. Each level course awards a greater number of points with the player who collects the most points winning.
The game’s edit mode allows players to edit a course for later races and modify their character. A trial mode is available as well as a head-to-head racing mode.
Alpine Runner 2
Alpine Runner 2 was released by Namco in 1996 as 3D Alpine skiing arcade game that followed the popular alpine runner Gameplay. While in the original there was no multiplayer aspect to the game, Alpine Racer Two allows players to link two cabinets together and race against each other. It’s the sequel to Alpine Racer but unlike the original, two cabinets can be linked together so players can race against each other.
Other improvements over the original alpine runner include the ability to choose from different characters and new, bigger and better courses.
Soak
Soak is a 2016 sports video game released by Ubisoft as the first original game. . It was released worldwide on December 2, 2016 for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. Developed by Ubisoft Annecy from 2013, it was their first original game and features an open-world simulation game.
The game was originally set in the Alps, but later expanded to include skiing in Japan, Korea, and Alaska. Soak invites players to participate in skiing alongside snowboarding, rocket-powered wingsuit flight, BASE jumping, sledding, speed riding and other Winter X Games at the 2018 Winter Olympics.
In this online multiplayer, the player engages in winter sports challenges with other players through online play. The highlights of the game are the tasks, the vast open world, and the stunning graphic imagery.
Val d’Isere Skiing and Snowboarding
The 1994 Val d’Isere Skiing and Snowboarding The simulation game was released by Atari Corporation in 1994. It takes place in the authentic ski resort of Val d’Isere in France and offers training, freeride and competition modes for skiing and snowboarding. When released 25 years ago, it was known to give players the ability to do mid-air jumps to avoid obstacles if the player timed the jumps correctly.
The perspective of the game was a perspective behind the view as the character raced down the ski slopes with abilities that included acceleration, turn, stop, jump, deceleration, and sharp turns. Players can navigate from skiing to snowboarding with options to change default control schemes. The game can be played in multiplayer mode with 2 players competing simultaneously (taking turns).
Each mode has its own subset of rules – an arcade-style non-competitive event mode for freeriding, a practice mode for practice, and a competitive mode consisting of four championships for the competition mode.
Republic of Horsemen
Republic of Horsemen is a 2021 game that brings together skiing, mountain biking, wingsuit flying and snowboarding in a multiplayer sports game where up to 64 players can compete in racing competitions. Republic of Horsemen takes place in an open world that brings together Yosemite Valley, Sequoia Park Zion National Park, Mammoth Mountain, Bryce Canyon, Grand Teton, and Canyonlands into a single map.
Players meet and interact with each other as they compete in freestyle biking, bike racing, freestyle skiing/snowboarding, ski/snowboard racing, wingsuit racing and more. Each sport has its own progression path and players aim to compete in bigger competitions like Red Bull Rampage, Red Bull Joyride, UCI Mountain Bike World Cup and X Games. The main objective is to receive an invitation to participate in the Riders Ridge Invitational where all sports combine into one event and players can switch between sports activities as they wish.
New gear, cosmetics, and outfits are unlocked as the game progresses. In the Tricks Battle Arena, the different teams compete to score Trick points.

Review: WWE 2K22 is a big step forward for the series
The WWE 2K franchise has been absent for nearly two years now, with developer Visual Concepts deciding to pull out 2021 in an attempt to produce a more solid game. The result was a success, as WWE 2K22 still has some flaws, but it’s a big step forward.
Windows 10 and Windows 11 users can start using a new version of the Xbox app for the operating system starting today. Well, at least those in the Xbox Insider program, as the app is currently only available in preview. Remember that this is the Xbox/game specific program which is separate from Windows Inside.
The Xbox app for Windows is updated to version 2203.1000.21.0, adding a new navigation system. Specifically, a new non-collapsible sidebar covering the main Xbox sections: Game Pass, Cloud Gaming, My Library, Community, and Store.
The current app that all Windows 11 and 10 users see has these menu items next to the search bar at the top of the app screen.
Advertising
In the new system, the main sections have installed games available and a Game Pass button (another one) below the main items. Yes, Microsoft is really starting to push Game Pass. While the button in the main section will open Game Pass, the smaller secondary option shows available PC Game Pass titles.
More Changes
Elsewhere, the design/navigation tweaks also extend to the search field, which is now permanent. In other words, it no longer collapses, meaning you can use the search function on any page in the Xbox app.
Finally for the main changes in version 2203.1000.21.0, Microsoft put the notification and profile icons on the left instead of the rights. Click the profile icon to open options for support, settings, feedback, home, and more.
The new version of the Xbox app is available to test on Windows 10 and Windows 11. You can grab it now by heading to the Microsoft Store and downloading the Xbox Insider Hub.

If you are an avid gamer and looking for a new game, but you don’t have the option to sit at home in front of your computer or console, you should try playing GTA 5 Mobile. If you have enough data on your smartphone and are interested in all the awesome features this game has to offer, we highly recommend downloading it from Google Play Store or Apple App Store today! It really is worth it! Below we will present some of the advantages of playing GTA 5 Mobile on your smartphone.
No lag
GTA 5 mobile has come a long way since its initial release and it still has plenty of room to grow. The graphics have been vastly improved and I haven’t yet felt any lag when moving from point A to point B or during cutscenes. Another thing that makes me play GTA 5 mobile is its engaging gameplay. The story, while stereotypical for GTA games, was compelling enough that I could play it multiple times.
More time spent playing
The best thing about having GTA 5 on mobile is that you can play it whenever you have time. Instead of just doing five minutes here and there, you can get into a rhythm and spend an hour or two in the game. In addition to being able to play longer, you’ll also benefit from your phone’s touchscreen controls or your tablet, which are almost always superior to a console controller or gaming mouse.
Great platform for updates
The reason I love GTA is that it’s one of those games that has constant updates. They keep adding new features, missions, and vehicles that keep you coming back. Another advantage is that you can play it anywhere. You don’t need a dedicated console or computer, making it perfect for long trips and daily commutes – you can just pull out your phone and dive straight in!
Better graphics than the PC and console versions
The game is optimized for mobile devices which means it looks better than its counterparts. So if you have an iPhone or newer Android device, GTA 5 for mobile will look as good as any console or PC version. It goes without saying, but graphics matter. Better graphics mean a more immersive experience and, in turn, players are more likely to be engaged and want to play longer, and they won’t feel like they’re holding themselves back due to poor visuals.
Conclusion
Playing games on mobile devices can be a great time for single player and multiplayer. Yes, there are more advanced and powerful gaming options out there, but more often than not you’ll find yourself keeping an eye on your phone while enjoying downtime because it’s easy to pick up and play. When it comes to GTA 5 MOBILE (or other mobile gaming apps), you don’t need high-end hardware or an expensive data plan to enjoy smooth-as-silk gameplay.
Xbox Live Gold subscribers have been surprised with a bonus free game for the month of March. In addition to the four games that make up March’s Games With Gold lineup, Xbox Live Gold subscribers on Xbox One, Xbox Series S, and Xbox Series X can download a bonus Xbox 360 game for free. That said, if you’ve been a subscriber for a while, you might already have it, as it’s been made free through the subscription service, at least a few times. That’s right, Port Royale 3 – normally $20 – is again free for Xbox Live Gold subscribers.
Developed by Gaming Minds Studios and published by Kalypso Media, the pirate business simulation game made a comeback in 2012. The first installment in the series from Gaming Mind Studios, the Xbox 360 version of the game scored a mediocre 54 on Metarcritic , and achieved an even lower user score of 4.4 on the platform. That said, the Metacritic score doesn’t matter much when free or free with Xbox Live Gold, meaning subscribers can add it to their library but will lose access to the game as soon as it expires. of their subscription.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Cowabunga Collection will be released on consoles and PC sometime in 2022. The game was announced during Sony’s State of Play 2022. digital eclipse confirmed that the game will be released on all major platforms and on the Steam store.
The game was developed by Konami with Digital Eclipse and [likely] their Eclipse engine. While the Konami logo has been welcome on my TV for over 30 years, it’s Digital Eclipse that really excites me. With their Eclipse engine, they have been able to release some fantastic remasters over the past few years. For me, Mega Man Legacy Collection and the Disney Classic Games Collection are top notch.
What to expect from Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Cowabunga Collection
The collection will include 13 classic TMNT games. These games are:
Honestly, I’m a bit disappointed that there is no online multiplayer for SNES Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles IV: Turtles in Time. In fact, we already had a modern take on the arcade game way back in 2009 when Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Turtles in Time Re-Shelled came to PS3 and Xbox 360. In all honesty, this game came and went so quickly that many missed.
This announcement came out of nowhere and adds to a 2022 filled with TMNT. Shredder’s Revenge, a retro-inspired side-scrolling action game, is also slated for release this year. All we need now is an announcement that Rocksteady is developing an Arkham City-style TMNT game. Hey, a boy can dream, right?
Is WWE 2K22 crossplay? Since the release of the last major WWE game, WWE 2K20, in 2019, a lot has changed. Aside from the obvious world elements, multiplayer gameplay has changed drastically, with cross-play being pretty much a planned addition for every new major release.
This time there are lots of cool updates, new additions and much more to make the game fun for us. Visual Concepts has redesigned the game engine, and it looks amazing, especially with the spectacular entries and the return of General Manager mode.
A wrestling game that lets you fight as player-created avatars needs a good multiplayer mode. While we can’t wait to start booking our own performances, you should be aware of the game’s multiplayer limitations.
Does WWE 2K22 support cross-play?
Unfortunately, there is simply no online multiplayer play in WWE 2K22 as the PC cannot play with Xbox or PlayStation.
#WWE2k22 is NOT a cross game. So if you have a PS5 and are trying to play with P4 friends, you won’t be able to play together unless you download the PS4 version.
However, as the game is cross-gen, you must be on the same platform as your friend to play against and with them. Matchmaking between PS4 and PS5 is possible, as is matchmaking between Xbox One and Series X/S owners. On Steam, PCs can only compete against each other.
It seems logical that PC gamers can’t compete with console gamers because they have a small advantage with a keyboard and mouse. WWE and 2K, on the other hand, should have allowed PS4 and Xbox One players to play together.
How to Play With Friends in WWE 2K22
To play with friends in WWE 2K22, there are a few multiplayer choices available when you open the main menu. With up to four players, you and your friends can participate in a Royal Rumble and watch the mayhem unfold from the comfort of your own gaming space. Just make sure your controllers are connected, choose Playerthen search for the match you want to participate in.
After logging into myFACTION, you will be able to create cross-platform community projects and earn 1,500 credits that can be used to purchase new Superstars, among other things. The good news is that it is a simple procedure to complete and allows you to upload new works from any platform, allowing you to compete with your friends.
For those who prefer to battle online, WWE 2K22 8-player multiplayer mode allows you to compete against both friends and randoms. You can also access the online fashion from the main menu options, which are well organized and simple to use. With the Custom Lobby feature, you can invite your friends to join in the fun.
WWE 2K22 supports cross-platform community creations
Although there is no cross-platform play, players can download community creations from other platforms, which means someone on PC can create a wrestler and someone on PlayStation or Xbox can download it. This applies to all types of creations, including images, sashes, and more. This feature is automatically enabled, but you must also link a 2K account to share creations.
Supported community creation options
Here are all the different types of community creations that can be uploaded and downloaded:
Custom images/renderings
Arenas
CAW (custom wrestlers)
MITB Briefcase
Belts
Move sets
These can only be shared with friends who have a different console or PC. However, you cannot play at the same time.

“Amazon Luna is a working cloud gaming service, but its lackluster library means it won’t be anyone’s first choice.”
Benefits
Smooth on mobile and Amazon Fire TV
Excellent Luna Couch function
Single channel approach
The inconvenients
Stuttering on web browser
Unimpressive range of games
No Amazon Game Studios titles
Amazon Luna has officially launched at the perfect time for me. A few months after moving to a new town for this job, I decided to visit my family in a rural part of Virginia. I would be without my PS5 and Xbox Series X, but a cloud gaming service would ensure that I wouldn’t be stuck on last-gen consoles and my Switch for console gaming.
Since I hadn’t checked out the platform since its late 2020 debut, I was excited to see what Amazon Luna was delivering now. The tech prowess was noticeable on the mobile and Amazon Fire TV versions of the service, but heavy PC service and a lackluster library meant it didn’t make a lasting impression this holiday.
Now, Amazon is up to the task with Luna as the new top game streaming service. The service quietly entered early access in 2020, but just released its full version this month. And while it feels more complete and stable than Stadia at launch, it repeated some of the same issues throughout my journey.
On mobile, PC, and Amazon Fire TV, Amazon Luna streams games at a relatively consistent 1080p resolution. In cases where the internet connection becomes spotty, it will drop to 720p before completely stopping the game if Luna determines the connection is really that bad.
My time with mobile experiences and Amazon Fire TV has been extremely smooth. Resolution remained high, stutters were very infrequent, and input lag was negligible. Players will need to ensure they have suitable third-party controllers (the Razer Kishi is my go-to mobile controller) or Luna’s gamepad if they don’t want to use shoddy touch controls.
Playback through the Google Chrome web browser was not as stable. Stuttering and severe input lag were more common even on less demanding games like Garfield Kart: Furious Race or the retro titles in Capcom arcade stadium.
My time with mobile experiences and Amazon Fire TV has been extremely smooth.
Of course, the experience relies on internet connection, and while I was lucky enough to have a good one on this trip, your experience may vary. Overall, I’d recommend sticking with the Amazon Fire TV or mobile versions of the service for the smoothest experience.
Luna lacks a few Stadia frills like State Share and Crowd Play, but it didn’t promise them either. Instead, Amazon Luna’s unique cloud gaming feature is called “Luna Couch”, which enables cooperative cloud gaming. Playing pigs with this feature worked surprisingly well as my brother and I seemed to be in sync almost perfectly, and it had no impact on performance. I just wish there were more co-op games that take advantage of this feature at launch.
Overall, Amazon Luna didn’t disappoint with its game streaming capabilities during my trip, but it also didn’t stand out significantly outside of Luna Couch. This put a lot of pressure on the game library to make the service worthwhile for casual gaming fans.
Channeling games
Amazon Luna has a unique approach to its game library compared to other cloud gaming services. It offers individual channels that players can subscribe to in order to access certain games. On all platforms, Amazon Luna’s user interface is very simple. Games are organized by channel and genre, and one can quickly jump into a game from its Luna store page, so Amazon has definitely lowered the barrier of entry for the tech.
The Family Channel ($6 per month starting April 1) has more accessible games kids might like, such as Garfield Kart: Furious Race and Spongebob SquarePants: Battle for Bikini Bottom. Meanwhile, the Retro channel ($5 per month) provides access to classics like dragon’s lair, Konami’s anniversary collections and all the games of Capcom arcade stadium.
While I like the channel-based approach of this service, the fact that no channel particularly appealed to me is a bad sign.
These channels will appeal to casual gamers, whether they’re kids trying to get into gaming or someone who hasn’t played a game since the 1990s. These are very specific demographics, however, and won’t necessarily fit hardcore gamers like me who are looking to subscribe to a cloud gaming service.
Ubisoft+ subscribers can stream many new games from Ubisoft directly from Luna. Although this channel provides the service with its most important and latest games, it requires another $18 per month subscription and is a strange outlier on Luna. The Jackbox Party Pack ($5 per month) channel, which gives subscribers access to all games from Jackbox Studios, is a standout and might be worth subscribing to if you host a lot of parties and don’t don’t already own many of these games. It made for a fun game night!
Finally, a small rotation of games streamed through Luna are available at all times on the Prime Gaming channel. These free Amazon Prime games are worth checking out for Amazon Prime members looking to play some games when no other system is around or for those who want to dip their toes into cloud gaming .
The channel system allows Amazon Luna to target people looking for particular gaming experiences. That said, it neglects to have a range that’s generally appealing, and the services can get quite pricey if you buy them all, which we don’t recommend.
Content is king
By logging into the service during my trip, I hoped to find a hidden gem I had never heard of or games that could take advantage of Amazon’s cloud technology. Instead, I received a random catalog of older games, few of which benefit from cloud gaming or Luna Couch. While I like the channel-based approach of this service, the fact that no channel particularly appealed to me is a bad sign.
Amazon Luna may stutter less than Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, at least on Android, but if a service offers fantastic new games like Halo Infinite, Back 4 Blood, Forza Horizon 5and nobody saves the world on day one I’m going to choose to play this over a service whose most notable AAA game outside of Ubisoft+ is Control (which is also on Game Pass).
This vacation is one of the times that Amazon Luna will be very useful to me. Although the service itself ran smoothly, I’m ultimately uninterested and don’t know when I’ll use it again unless some big changes happen.
Those looking for the best range of games on a cloud streaming service should subscribe to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate. In addition to giving subscribers access to an extensive library of console and PC games, it includes Xbox Cloud Gaming for Android and web browsers, allowing users to play many of the included titles over an internet connection. For a cloud gaming platform with more unique features and exclusive games, Google Stadia is another option on par with Amazon Luna.
Should I buy it?
No. Unless one of the channels listed matches your specific interests, it’s not worth exploring Amazon Luna and paying for several subscriptions that you won’t engage with often and that you might possibly forget. Those still curious about the tech should get Amazon Prime and play all the Luna games currently available for free with that subscription.
Amazon Luna was tested on a Google Pixel 3a XL with a Razer Kishi, as well as a Lenovo laptop and Amazon Fire TV with an Xbox One Wireless Controller.
Need to know how to transfer GTA Online from PS4 to PS5 or Xbox One to Xbox Series X? Here’s how to move your GTA Online save and character, plus all the info you’ll need to get set up. GTA Online is getting its own updated and now standalone re-release that will allow players to enjoy faster loading times, improved textures and up to 4K resolution. If you need to know how to transfer story mode progress from GTA 5 to PS5 and Xbox Series X, we have tips on that too.
If you wish to continue playing as your old-gen GTA Online character on your next-gen console, you will need to transfer your save game. This is definitely something you’ll want to do if you’ve played many hours of GTA Online and leveled up your character and bought them the best gear – transfers aren’t automatic, so if you don’t upload your save, you will have to start from scratch. However, Rockstar is making those early hours easier for new players with the new GTA Online Career Builder. Here’s how to upload, download and transfer your GTA Online save from PS4 to PS5 and Xbox One to Xbox Series X.
How to Transfer GTA Online Saves to PS5 and Xbox Series X
The process of downloading your GTA Online save so you can download it to another console is pretty straightforward, but there are a few things you should have set up and ready before you begin. First, you’ll need access to your legacy console (your PS4 or Xbox One) and the GTA Online save you want to transfer. Next, you’ll need to make sure your old and new GTA Online accounts share the same Rockstar Social Club account so they’re linked.
Provided you’ve got those two things sorted, here’s what you need to do from March 15th when the PS5 and Xbox Series X update for GTA Online goes live:
Login to GTA Online on your PS4 or Xbox One.
Press pause, then go to the “Game” tab from the pause menu.
Select the option to download your game save to the Rockstar Social Club cloud servers.
Load GTA Online on your PS5 or Xbox Series Xgo to the game tab of the pause menu.
Select the option to download your game save and transfer your GTA Online character to your next-gen console.
There are a few other important things to know during the GTA Online save transfer process. Do not close GTA 5 or turn off your console while the save is uploaded to the Rockstar Social Club cloud servers, as you may corrupt the save data. Also, your Social Club account can only contain one set of save data at a time, so you need to make sure you have the correct data. Additionally, transferring your saves between consoles does not link them to allow cross-progression. If for some reason you return to GTA Online on your PS4 or Xbox One, you will not see any of your progress from your playtime on your PS5 or Xbox Series X.
Finally, note that while you can fully transfer your save to different consoles — PS4 to Xbox Series X, for example — any GTA Online Cash you’ve paid with real money as a microtransaction won’t transfer over. If you want the GTA Online money you paid transferred too, you need to upload your save to a console of the same family – PS4 to PS5, for example. However, all the money you have earned from the game will be completely safe and will transfer with your save.

The PC Game Pass app for Windows 10 and 11 does the job, but it’s not great. For chat and social systems, it’s significantly slower than competing services like Discord and Battle.net, while simultaneously offering fewer features. It also doesn’t give you access to game clips or screenshots from your console, unlike the older Windows 8-based Xbox Companion app. What the Xbox app makes up for in its usability areas is is the PC Game Pass library, which is rich in content and high in value.
For those running the Xbox Insider app on Windows 10 or 11, the app received a pretty substantial update today which not only updated the navigation significantly but also added some new features. that measure game performance.
Unfortunately, at the time of writing, the app appears to crash after only a few dozen seconds of use, but this is a beta version of the app and will likely be fixed before it is released. reaches the general public.
The app navigation is now on the left side, with installed games in the sidebar. Personally, I think it looks a lot nicer and makes a lot more sense than its previous incarnation, but ultimately it’s the features and tools that the Xbox app currently lacks.
The Xbox app is most often compared to Valve’s mature Steam software, which you think is a bit unfair given Steam’s age and long development cycle. Yet they still compete to some degree. The Xbox app is much more restrictive than Steam when it comes to modding games and accessing user-generated content, and as mentioned, is generally much slower in important key areas. I often wonder if Microsoft will drop this app if it manages to complete the Activision Blizzard acquisition and throw its weight behind the faster and more popular Battle.net app instead for PC Game Pass, but I guess that is only speculative at this time.
Either way, it’s encouraging to see Microsoft continue to grow the Xbox corner of its Windows operation, and it will be interesting to see where the Xbox app goes in the coming year. Hopefully it will be ready for prime time once Starfield launches later this year.

The best games for PC Game Pass so far
Whether you’re new to PC gaming or just new to PC Game Pass, it can be a bit daunting to sift through the entire catalog to find what to play first. So we’ve listed nine of our favorites to get you started.
There are some fantastic games available at discounted prices in this week’s Xbox sales, so TA’s press team did their weekly dig to find, what they think, are a few bangers to consider. It’s been another week that has seen us pull off a varied selection of titles. From post-apocalyptic shooters and mutant-wrecking games to vibrant, uplifting stories that fill your heart with song, we’ve got five pickups that might be perfect for your library.
Heidi — Wandersong
I love Wandersong, which skillfully combines a brilliant, beautifully colored art style with a touching story about saving the world through music. Wandersong is a platform and puzzle game where we play as a bard, who interacts with the world through song – to the delight or extreme annoyance of the inhabitants of this world. Clearly we’re not a legendary hero, but we set out to save the world nonetheless by learning more about Earthsong. We meet a wide variety of characters and explore everything from loss to joy, and mermaids to coffee. It is accessible to all, even to those (me) who are not at all gifted for music. It’s truly a magical adventure, complete with a wonderful soundtrack that will stick with you after completing the game. is even better at a reduced price. Wait, I just double-checked – Wandersong is 75% off and less than £5! It’s just crazy. Seriously, if you’re looking for a brilliant adventure or a great story, you can’t go wrong with Wandersong.
wandersong
A musical adventure where you use singing to save the world! Play as a silly bard who embarks on a journey around the world to learn about the mysterious Earthsong, believed to prevent the imminent end of the universe. It’s up to you to sing your songs, unlock the secrets of the world and make new friends!
Kes — Machinarium & Creaks Pack
Machinarium is really really good. I don’t know what Creaks is, but I’m sure it’s good too. In fact, I have so much faith in Czech studio Amanita Design from Machinarium that I know it does, I haven’t played it yet. That’s impressive, because Machinarium came out in 2012 (on PS3) and all that trust has been carried over to 2022. The game is about a little robot boy called Josef who gets dumped on a pile of junk. He must reassemble and return to the city. It’s a point-and-click adventure and puzzles are the name of the game. It’s pretty easy going – mostly object-interacting based stuff or small mini-games – but the real focus of your attention should be the amazing illustration. It’s a surreal and mind-blowing thing that would go very well in a Dalí gallery. Buildings bend and twist in and out of frame at oblique angles, clocks dominate the scenes, and mosaic patterns make crazy things happen to your eyes. Throw in a wonderfully touching story, a sublime soundtrack, and, of course, those easy Machinarium achievements and you’ve got a two-hour must-play.
Machinarium and squeaks set
machinarium Machinarium is the award-winning indie adventure game from the creators of Samorost and Botanicula.
Help Josef the robot save his girlfriend Berta kidnapped by the Black Cap Brotherhood gang.
Crunches The floor starts shaking, light bulbs break – and something quite unusual is happening just behind your bedroom walls. Equipped with nothing but wits and courage, you slowly descend into a world inhabited by birds and seemingly deadly furniture monsters.
From the makers of indie classics Machinarium and Samorost comes Creaks, a new puzzle adventure game that delights the senses with its hand-painted visuals, crisp animations, eerie sounds, and an eclectic original score by Hidden Orchestra. Proceed at your own pace to find the solutions to dozens of carefully crafted puzzles, explore the mansion in search of hidden paintings, and uncover the big secret.
Luke — Hatsune Miku Logic Paint S
As a big fan of the Project Diva and Picross series, this was always going to be a day one purchase for me, and I’ve already browsed through all of the Hatsune Miku Logic Paint S when it released in January. . For those new to the world of nonogram puzzles, these absolute time vampires involve using numerical clues to color in sections of a grid and eventually reveal a hidden image. It might take a few puzzles to get the logic behind the system to click, but before long you’ll be speeding up even the biggest grids and solving tricky puzzles in no time. It’s hugely satisfying to watch everything start to fall into place, and even more so when you can solve the toughest problems without any hints or help. Luckily for newcomers (and/or folks who are only here for Miku), that kind of perfection isn’t necessary for solving puzzles, or even for achievements, and without a state of failure per se, you could theoretically just brute force every puzzle in the game by clicking on almost every box. A tedious and tedious road to completion, sure (and one that saps the fun of the game), but it would get the job done. At 40% off, this great little puzzle will make you Miku-Miku (for real).

Sean — Metro Saga Ensemble
If you haven’t played Metro games, first of all, shame on you. Second, do yourself a favor and pick up the Metro Saga Bundle, which is 70% off this week, bringing it down to just $17.99 / £14.99 / €17.99. Here you’ll find three of the best first-person shooters: Metro 2033 Redux, Metro: Last Light Redux, and Metro Exodus, as well as the two DLC expansions for Exodus. The Metro series is set in a post-apocalyptic Moscow where humans are forced to live underground in the city’s metro tunnels as the outside world has become uninhabitable. You play as Artyom, a man who is asked to join a group known as the Rangers to hunt down mysterious creatures known as the Dark Ones, who have been attacking various settlements on the Underground network. The first two games are very linear first-person shooter experiences that let you smash your way through groups of mutated creatures in pitch-black subway tunnels before stumbling into a subway station – l he atmosphere in the tunnels is unlike any other FPS and it makes sure you’re always on your toes. Metro Exodus, the third game in the series, does away with the linear format and places you in several vast open sandboxes, although there are still a few linear moments every now and then. Exodus is probably my favorite of the three because it has a bit more gameplay variety compared to 2033 and Last Light. When it comes to achievements, all three games have pretty tough achievement lists, although Exodus will be the one that will put up the biggest fight.
Metro Saga Bundle
The Metro Saga Bundle includes all three games in the critically acclaimed Metro series – Metro 2033 Redux, Metro: Last Light Redux and Metro Exodus Gold Edition (with all bonus DLCs)
Tom — Insurrection: Sandstorm
While Insurgency: Sandstorm doesn’t visually reach the same dizzying heights as other more notable titles in the FPS genre, it makes up for it with incredible sound design and intense tactile gunplay. I’ve always been a sucker for first-person shooters (or “shootybangs”, as our esteemed frontman Luke likes to call them), and the chaotic nature of large-scale firefights makes these some of my video game experiences. favourites. Sometimes, though, it’s nice to get stuck in something like Insurgency: Sandstorm, which does away with large-scale warfare in favor of smaller team-based, tactile gameplay – and I’ve never felt so anxious playing a shooter before. Bullet damage is increased enough to allow the game to straddle the line between arcade and simulation, so a few well-placed rounds will have you kissing the dirt. This knowledge, combined with some of the most impressive sound design elements I’ve encountered to date, makes Insurgency: Sandstorm a ridiculously intense game to play…and it makes for an incredibly satisfying experience.
If you just rushed to buy the game, you’ve already made your first mistake; to be successful, you need to know how to slow things down, check turns, use cover correctly to your advantage, and keep your ass out of open areas. If you can handle not running fast with everyone, you’ll really have fun with this. The current sale is 25% off the price, but to be honest Insurgency: Sandstorm is well worth its full price, so any discount is a bonus – Maximum Games recently released an update that fixes the unobtainable achievements in ‘Insurgency: Sandstorm, so now is a good time to play and finally complete the game.
Insurgency: Sandstorm
Fight in the war-torn environments of contemporary conflict across a series of intense cooperative and PvP multiplayer modes. Feel every bullet and fear every impact in fierce close combat as your team battles for victory.
Does something here do that for you, or are you going to get a different slice of awesomeness from the sales? Let us know in the comments!
Mobile gaming is about to fall into a heated warzone as a new blog post on the official Call of Duty website has confirmed that Call of Duty: Warzone is coming to mobile.
The post contains little information about the mobile version itself, calling it “a large-scale battle royale experience designed natively for mobile with state-of-the-art technology designed to entertain players around the world for many years to come. “. Requested roles in the blog include production, art, engineering, design, and more.
Call of Duty Warzone is coming to mobile!
The confirmation comes after a December 2021 report hinted at a 2022 release date for the mobile version of Call of Duty Warzone. Game Journalist and Call of Duty Insider Tom Henderson tweeted that the game was expected to launch this year, citing its addition to the PlaytestCloud database.
Warzone will mark Call of Duty’s second battle royale on mobile devices, joining the mode built into the standalone Call of Duty Mobile. It is not yet known whether or not this new mobile Warzone will be part of this app or will launch as a separate download.
Call of Duty Warzone is a free-to-play battle royale with 100 players battling to be the last one standing. It is available for download on Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5 and PC.
We’d be lying if we said we love JanduSoft titles. That’s not to say there isn’t a toss up with what’s released by the publishing team, but to be honest, quality isn’t always what we’re expecting. would wait – just look Neck retroverse collection for confirmation of this. We hope a turning point is made with the launch of Retro Pixel Racers.
Retro Pixel Racers is the kind of game we grew up with. A descending arch runner in which nothing matters more than crossing the finish line first. It helps that it comes with that 16-bit style that many know and love too, providing even more memories of the best games of years past.
Available to buy, download and play on your Xbox One or Xbox Series X|S now – with smart delivery and full Series X|S optimization, ensuring the version you’re playing is the best available for your system – Retro Pixel Racers just might be an addictive little racing hit.
Obviously the graphical style may only appeal to a few, but with the promise of speed and the immersion we last felt when we spent several hours in the smog of the arcades, there are hope. It’s further aided by the inclusion of twenty-six different tracks, with twenty vehicles to enjoy racing and an easy-to-manage, hard-to-master gameplay style.
We’re more than happy to take a punt with Retro Pixel Racers, hoping that JanduSoft has finally managed to land a bit of a hit. Stay tuned for a full review from us soon, but in the meantime you can grab a download from the Xbox Store for £4.19.
Description of the game:
Retro Pixel Racers is a fun arcade racing game with retro style graphics where you control toy cars racing on exciting tracks. Start your engines and get ready for the craziest and most addictive racing game ever. Fast-paced racing game with a new take on 16-bit style. This is an arcade racing game based on games I loved to play in arcades growing up. You could say it’s inspired by these games, maybe an homage to them or just a rip off, any of these could be true!
Things will never be fully “back to normal” after the COVID-19 pandemic, which still hasn’t completely gone away. Still, some things are picking up. Watch college basketball!
In 2020, the NCAA Men’s Division I Basketball Tournament was canceled due to the virus. In 2021, the tournament returned, but at one venue. Now, in 2022, the best young athletes will put their skills to the test across the country.
Sixty-eight teams. Seven rounds. Sixty-seven games. Single elimination. A winner. Gunshots, Upheavals and Cinderella Stories; Welcome to March Madness, folks.
This year’s television program is spread over the four traditional channels: CBS, TNT, TBS and truTV. However, if you don’t have a TV with a cable package, the tournament is also available through apps, media devices and streaming video platforms. Here’s how to watch all the action online when the games kick off on March 15.
Watch online with a cable subscription
The NCAA has made things a little less chaotic in recent years by centralizing all tournament feeds into the March Madness Live web application. If you’re planning on secretly streaming games alongside that super important email or spreadsheet tab, the main web app is your best bet. It works on both desktop and mobile web.
However, the March Madness Live app has some caveats. CBS’ game shows will all be available for free through the app, and viewing them doesn’t require a cable connection. However, you will need a cable or satellite connection to access live streams from the three Turner-owned channels (TNT, TBS and truTV).
Alas, even if you don’t own a television, you are still subject to its whims. Be sure to check March Madness TV’s full schedule to find out where the games are airing and their start times.
If you have a cable connection, it’s still the best and most widely available way to stream March Madness games. You also get additional features, such as Fast Break (live coverage of multiple games that eliminates the need for a second screen), BracketIQ (matching analysis), instant highlights and real-time stats.
The March Madness Live Everywhere App
If you’re not watching on a desktop computer, many live-streamed games are available on other officially supported devices and platforms. You can download the March Madness Live app for your smartphone, tablet, smart TV or media streaming device. Be aware that any game streamed by Turner will always require login credentials to watch it. See the full list of supported devices and services below:
Another way to stay up to date with the latest March Madness news and scores is to use your Amazon Echo device. The NCAA has released an official March Madness skill that you can turn on to ask Alexa what games are in progress, the score for a particular game, or even how your bracket is doing.
Watch March Madness Without Cable TV
If you want to watch every game without worrying about network broadcasts and login credentials, true cord-cutters can turn to one of the many live TV streaming services. Most of them have free trials if you’re really desperate to stream the games without paying:
TV SlingTV Slingis available on a variety of streaming devices, offering two different subscription plans starting at $35 per month. Subscribers to the Sling Blue package have access to all three Turner channels: TBS, TNT and truTV. The new Halo Infinite Tactical Ops limited event adds new armor and a killer playlist without shields or radars, to test players’ reflexes.
Most recent Infinite Halo rewards accuracy and reflexes with the new Tactical Slayer playlist and cosmetics. Limited special events have become commonplace for Halo Infinite free multiplayer. Themed events allow players to participate in special game types and work to unlock unique cosmetics and armor. While players wait for new Infinite Halo multiplayer maps, cooperative campaign and Forge mode, they received a number of themed events to play and cosmetics to unlock.
Previous limited events for Halo Infinite multiplayer games introduced themed game types and items such as the Tenrai Samurai Spartan Armor and the Cyber Showdown Neon Mohawk. Some unlocks are currently only available for purchase using in-game currency which, at this time, can only be purchased and not earned. 343 Industries has hinted that players will be able to play to win Infinite Halo credits in Season 2, which also promises to deliver new maps and limited story-focused events. The next season of Halo Infinite multiplayer won’t launch until May 3. Still, players won’t have to wait long to play new game modes and earn new cosmetics for their Spartans.

Infinite Halo players with sharp reflexes and a deep hatred towards the game’s shields can look forward to the start of the new Tactical Ops event. The HaloWaypoint blog details the latest event, which adds a Tactical Slayer playlist and new unlockables. The Tactical Slayer Playlist is the return of a hardcore game variant, formerly known as SWAT, pitting two teams of four against each other without shields, radar, and super-efficient headshots. Tactical Slayer was a favorite for all Halo fans looking to test their accuracy in the fast-paced type of game. The Tactical Ops event allows players to earn cosmetics like the Mark V ZETA helmet, which looks a lot like a particular Spartan helmet seen in previous Halo Games.
Unlike the previous Halo Games, Halo Infinite free multiplayer is a first for the series. When it launched, many players found the task of unlocking gear through the game’s battle pass to be a thankless one. Since then, the game has seen many changes and balances in an effort to make the game Halo Infinite multiplayer a fun experience. Limited events like Fracture: Tenrai and Cyber Showdown introduced Chaotic Fiesta Mode and Intense Attrition Modes, which helped add much-needed variation to the original three multiplayer playlists the game launched with. The new Tactical Ops event will add even more for players to enjoy.
Limited Time Events did a great job of introducing new game types and bringing classic modes back to Infinite Halo that fans have loved from previous games in the series. After some updates, it was less difficult to level up in Infinite Halo, players can unlock more ways to customize their characters. Players skilled enough to unlock the latest Tactical Ops gear will be able to look stylish while they wait for new maps and content in the upcoming Season 2 of Halo Infinite multiplayer.

We haven’t heard the words Patch Tuesday and Xbox in the same sentence for some time now.
This month, however, the Redmond tech giant decided to patch a vulnerability that targets both.
Rest assured that the Xbox Live Auth Manager elevation privilege vulnerability for Windows is gone.
The fix was provided by Microsoft through the monthly Patch Tuesday security patch rollout.
All anyone can talk about these days is Microsoft’s new Patch Tuesday release which, as you know, happens every second Tuesday of every month.
Today, Mach 8 2022, the Redmond-based tech giant deployed a total of 71 CVEs, three of which were marked as critical, and we have the download links ready for you.
And among those 71 CVEs released this month, there was one that targeted Xbox gamers on the Windows operating system, but luckily Microsoft has already covered that (CVE-2022-21967).
Another vulnerability removed from the list by Microsoft
Indeed, this appears to be the first security patch specifically affecting Xbox, so we can understand all the raised eyebrows and confused coughs.
But that’s no joke, as Microsoft has acknowledged the potential damage this vulnerability could cause if exploited by malicious third parties.
Of course there was a advisory for an inadvertently leaked Xbox Live certificate that was released in 2015, but this appears to be the first security-specific update for the device itself.
Microsoft is aware of an SSL/TLS digital certificate for *.xboxlive.com whose private keys were inadvertently leaked. The certificate could be used in attempted man-in-the-middle attacks. It cannot be used to issue other certificates, impersonate other domains, or sign code. This problem affects all supported versions of Microsoft Windows. Microsoft is not currently aware of any attacks related to this issue.
The tech giant even notes that other Windows operating systems are not even affected by this bug.
It is still unclear how cybercriminals could increase privileges using this vulnerability, but the Auth Manager component is listed as affected.
This service handles interaction with the Xbox Live service, so if you know you depend on Xbox or Xbox Live, make sure this fix doesn’t go unnoticed.
So, there you have it, we can add another annoying bug to the list of issues that we hope to never have to deal with in the future.
