Great news for Xbox One gamers this week after Microsoft made it possible to play three games for free.
But time is running out to test out the latest Xbox Live trials from the Microsoft Store.
Xbox Live Gold subscribers can download The Division 2, Age of Wonders: Planetfall, and Stellaris: Console Edition at no additional cost.
This new Free Play Days offer was revealed earlier this week and is available now. And not only do you get full access to all three base games, they’re also discounted during the free trial.
There’s currently 65% off The Division 2, 20% off Age of Wonders: Planetfall, and 30% off Stellaris: Console Edition.
That’s without mentioning that all three are relatively new games that landed on Xbox One earlier this year.
Best of all, if you continue to purchase the full version of any of the three, you can keep your Gamerscore and in-game achievements.
But as mentioned above, there is not much time left to download each game and play it.
Microsoft confirms that this trial is running until October 20 at 11:59 p.m. PDT. For players in the UK, that will mean closer to 8:59 a.m. BST.
As usual, an Xbox Live Gold membership, or a bundle that includes it, will be required to access these free games.
Each game offers something a little different, from The Division’s tense cover battles across Washington DC, to the Cyborgs vs Dinosaurs escapades of Planetfall.
“Age of Wonders: Planetfall is the new strategy game from Triumph Studios that answers old questions – like, who would win in a war between dinosaur-riding warriors and cyborg-zombies?” new blog post from Microsoft asks.
“Find out for yourself in the all-new sci-fi setting that combines thrilling turn-based tactical combat with deep empire building. Choose from one of six unique factions and battle, build, trade and advance technologically towards world domination.
Meanwhile, Stellaris lets you build a galactic empire while having to contend with alien races and their own agendas.
Any of these titles would be a great way to kill some free time, and they all offer plenty of content to explore.
And the added incentive to explore The Division 2 this weekend is that Ubisoft has just added brand new content to the game.
Some of this will unlock on October 22, meaning not everyone will be able to experience the new missions.
“Episode 2 takes you to the Pentagon, where the fight continues to resolve the ongoing epidemic crisis in Washington DC,” says a message from Ubisoft.
“As agents, you will encounter two new main missions located in and under the historic building.
“After a Division Agent discovers the existence of an Infusion Bioreactor – a device capable of reproducing potentially life-saving antivirus – players must fight their way through the flooded area occupied by the Black Tusks around the Pentagon to secure a safe house.
“It’s up to the agents to secure the bioreactor – and with it, all hope – before it falls into Black Tusk hands.
“From here, the first new main mission, The Pentagon, will take players into the building itself, where they will battle the forces of Black Tusk to find the entrance to an underground lab.”
Xbox Live Gold members can also claim the latest Games with Gold title for October, with Friday the 13th now available to download on Xbox One.
